It throws the story a bit because it's like the things that have already happened don't matter anymore.

EDIT: and your Guy Fawkes get-up needs a smile and closed eyes. ;)

Simply put, Micheal's been around you, and slept like a rock over the course of a few weeks (I assume several days does not translate into merely a week.) Other than that, I assume that the Angelic spirit kinda heals people, unless I'm mistaken...

Funk, mind explaining this sentence to me? :p

It's an exclamative. It's like when in an RPG you see the "!" and then Navi would yell "WATCH OUT!" and you would dodge only to find a log nearly slamming you to the ground. I can edit if need be.

Espy 11-06-2011 11:39 PM

I am so confused right now...

Suzerain of Sheol 11-06-2011 11:44 PM

Nah, no need to edit. It makes sense. I think. :p

And what's confusing you, Espy?

Espy 11-06-2011 11:45 PM

Dunno; I'm just out of it.

Hope everyone is cool with Na'lsa taking the extra moment to get a meal in. I prefer playing him sane.

Quiet Man Cometh 11-07-2011 04:47 AM

Fine with me Salone.

I see Funk. For Dara, her aura is not pure angelic and therefore is not strong enough to actually heal, but it prevents death, so long as the potential death is not of the unfixable variety. She can't do much about decapitated heads. She does know first aid though, so he wouldn't have been left to heal on his own.

Espy 11-07-2011 05:05 AM

...ohgawd, that's a rather gory image before bed. Raw human drumsticks.

Quiet Man Cometh 11-07-2011 05:10 AM

You don't watch enough late night horror. ;). Though I suppose cannibalism tends to be a bit much.

Salone 11-07-2011 02:28 PM

Well, technically Na'lsa is human only in form. And he needs his strength!

Salone 11-07-2011 08:34 PM

I seem to recall a D&D session where a villain opened a book at us and we were sucked inside it. Turns out it was a magical dungeon...thing...He's clasping like he's going to open it at us, isn't he?

Quiet Man Cometh 11-07-2011 08:40 PM

Mine was a giant spider, though the book was on the floor and *we* opened it. The cleric leaping forward from the back of the party to squish it in one hit was rather cool.

Had a person sucking book in another game. Open book, say magic word, person appears on empty page.

Suzerain of Sheol 11-07-2011 09:08 PM

ITT: Book paranoia. :p

I think I may make him just keep clutching it in understated menace now. :p

Salone 11-08-2011 02:52 AM

Kingdom was vague on purpose, yes?
