For me if I know its not really it doesn't bother me as much, but there are still certain things I can't look at. In the case of those real ER shows and stuff I can't look at some of the stuff because I get ill from doing so. ^^; And your parents sound worse then my mom, so sorry hun. *hugs*

it's no biggy I moved out ages ago and in a city that theyll never come to as it mans driving on the motor way and my mother hates driving on the motor way ( with good reason mind you three times we've almost been whiped out by a iddiot truck driver who wasn't watching the road when coming onto it and my mum or dad couldn't get into the next lane over.

I'm fine, I'm just stressed because something happened to me that's never happened before. Have I ever been rude to the staff here? If so please let me know, if I'm causing problems it would be best to inform me so that I don't keep doing it unintentionally. =(

Yeah, that's the part I'm confused about, no one has ever told me that I've been rude to the staff until now. Even on another site when a mod got mad at me about something I said (let's just say they wanted help with their art and every time someone tried to help they bashed them calling them all trolls and how they thought they were their friend) and then they got nasty with me and next thing I know within 24 hours that person is no longer a mod. Though I have to say there has been issues with that mod before. Heard that they were trying to get users banned whenever they didn't agree with them or something stupid like that. :/ Not even sure if that is true or not though.

So yeah basically butt hurt megalomaniacs. You can't be a good artist without taking critiques well. But sometimes people are bad at phrasing and may say something that might be rude but it isn't. I'm not saying that's the case here because it seems to me that this person refused to take any critique that wasn't 'nah bruh your art is cool'. But a critique's job is to help a person improve their art and not stroke the ego of the artist.

Lol sorry if I made you forget about the big news. I hate it when people call themselves artists and get butt hurt over small critiques. I had a professor that would straight up rip your work if it wasn't what he thought was excellent work by your hand. Like he knew people had potential to do better and just simple things he's take down the work because it's sloppiness. Well it was really hard to watch work get torn apart. But you have to learn not to get so attached to your work because if it is subject to change then it needs to be done. Very rarely will you ever do work because you want to.

Even if you're not to make a career out of it if you think your work is perfect and doesn't need to be fixed then why are you even bothering to ask for help?

@Him - Ah...somewhat have issues there along the lines. Tend to be unable to communicate with those type of instructors regardless of the field in a way that actually helps.
@ml - I tend to be sorry for everything that goes bad in people's lives. <.<

Yeah, their art style hasn't improved over the past three years I've known them, and in some cases has regressed. Not to mention they are popping out five pieces of work at times in one day and says they spent a few hours on each and that's the longest they've worked one something. I've worked on things for DAYS before I saw any improvements, this person just doesn't know how to actually practice and just complains. :/

I had a strange moment walking back from work today. Got seranaded by a drunk student on his guitar. I gave him some pointers on how he can improve and he seemed happy. Also *squiches Lucifox* hope your ok and work isnt overly stressing you out.

@Kara some people can take criticism well and some people can't. But if you can't then you shouldn't be asking for help.

I...I think Tris has the most outwardly-agreeable staff on all sites I've been on.
