i dont get why drinking is desired. you basically are giving up reign of your body to whimsy and idiocy in equel parts and it's expensive

at the time it was cool rebellion of being the goody two shoes girl i had been. then it became a way to meet guys. then it became the only thing my friend's wanted to do when we hung out.

now i just am the designated driver

i do have a pretty funny story about the going to bars to meet guys thing. I mean aside from all my friends being prettier than me and nobody ever talking to me >.>

Like for realz the guys would come over and shove their elbow between my friend and me so that i'd be looking at their backs while they talked to my friend. But one time! this guy wanted to go dancing with the friend i was out with and so he left his friend sitting with me. His friend turned out to be a poetry major and also a prof. at my college. He wouldn't stop name dropping famous poets the whole time and . . personally . . . poetry is not my thing at all . . . so I kept putting stickers on his face to pass the time. I went home and looked him up on "rate my professor" and all the reviews said he was way to into himself, thought poetry 101 was poetry 400 and was very pompous. He wanted to hang out again but I had the flu so I declined and that was the last I ever heard about that

so i've done NaNo 5 times in the last 6 years, and i usually use google docs. and then i forget how slooooow my computer gets with google docs. i only have 1 gb of RAM. so my plan this year was to get me a chrome book with 4 gb of RAM. i have about $60 of the $200 saved....

and hubby and the girls got me a chrome book!! with 4 gb of RAM. woo hoo!!
