And yeah, I'm a big fan of the large, more life-like bases. <3 And am mostly on Zantarni cause of a friend I've known on various avatar sites that started with my all time favourite, and then from there met a whole bunch of other new friends on Zantarni and we all Skype chat now! <8D

Lol, nice! Emulators are awesome as I personally use a NDS emulator myself, but am definitely looking to get an actual NDS one day soon!

The series is often referred to as the Acorna Universe series co-authored by Anne McCaffrey (all books) and Margaret Ball (first and second books) and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough (third to last books).
It's a fairly old series...at least the first book is fairly old as it was released in 1997, while the last book was released in 2007. :3 The first seven books are based on Acorna's life herself (usually referred to as the Acorna series), while the last three are based on her children's lives (usually referred to as the Acorna's Children series). :3
You should read it! It's really good!
And now that I think back, I think I went up to book eight...(first book of Acorna's Children series...but now I want to re-read them all (and actually finish the last three this time) as I remember greatly enjoying the series back then. :3 #goreaditnow

It was the first and only avatar so far that I grew attached to after literally a day, and when the administrators there decided to close it cause one of the main administrators and lead pixelist had no more time for the site. :'( #sadface #imisseternalnox #ripeternalnox
