Grass/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Dark. Chespin's chestnut armor becomes like a football uniform...he's got a helmet with the little vented face guard, armor pads, and such. Fennekin has enormous ears, and becomes bat-like, with a little wing-shaped cloak. I guess a "Flying Fox", more or less you could say. It utilizes sound waves and such. Froakie's bubbles curl out and resemble the waves you see on Japanese woodblock paintings, while it has kabuki-style markings on it. Meant to be a ninja, seems to be based on the Jiraiya legend judging by its Japanese name.

>can we ride other pokemon too, not just gogoat?
Yes. In fact there are land Pokemon, sea Pokemon, and sky Pokemon you can ride, and multiple areas for each. There's an entire mini-game built around Racing Pokemon, with land, sea, and sky variants.

Won't say an exact number, but it's more than expected for an even Gen, more than Gen IV. Only about 15 related to old Pokemon.

>What old pokemon will have their typings changed to Fairy-type?
Clefairy, Togepi, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Lickitung, Snorlax, Dunsparce, Audino, Snubbull, Skitty, and Whismur, plus their evolutions/pre-evolutions, all have their Normal replaced with Fairy. No other Typing is "replaced" bar Normal.

Mawile, Absol, Misdreavus, Milotic (but not Feebas), Chimecho, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf and their evolutions all gain the Fairy-type. They're the only non-Normal old Pokemon who get the Type.

There are two, and they fit the letter theme a bit because they're "A" and "B". Team Acid and Team Base.

Acid are the more "traditional" team, punk-rocker/bikers who steal Pokemon and experiment on them. Goal is to create the "Ultimate Type". Leader is a girl with long, long, long hair that she sits on, Admins are themed after venomous creatures. One dude has spider-leg dreadlocks.

Team Base less evil, more misguided. They wear those Tai Chi suits, with the button flaps forming a B, and want to obtain power to protect what they care about. They steal Pokemon from trainers they deem weak and raise the Pokemon themselves. Leader is an old man with long, flowing white hair, yet very muscular. Rather than Admins, subordinates are four sages based on the Saint Beasts.

Neither are "version based" like Aqua and Magma, they appear in both versions, although when and where you fight them is slightly different.

Xerneas represents the "purity of the earth", is Fairy. In Kalos Lore, Xerneas rebuilt the region after war devastated it.

Yveltal represents the "ambition of the sky", and is Dark/Flying. In Kalos Lore, Yveltal appeared during wars and ravaged both sides and the entire region.

Xerneas and Yveltal represent life and death, and the cycle of it. The Kalos Region has had countless wars, in which Yveltal destroyed the region and Xerneas rebuilt it, although, since the advent of Pokemon Battles and them being used to settle disputes, Kalos has seen a prolonged peace for the last couple of hundred years.

I'm unsure. I assume Smash was merely proving the existence of a New Type, not actually going off the exact match-ups.

>Mawile get an evolution?
Mawile receives an evolution, in which it has two little mouths instead of one, resembling ponytails. I think it's meant to be a reference to Hatsune Miku, because the resemblance is pretty strong when it comes to the hair-style. I don't know how useful it is though, but it can learn Quiver Dance.

>is gogoat an evo?
No. Gogoat is standalone, but there are "two" of it. The Gogoat CoroCoro revealed is the male Gogoat, there's a female Gogoat (with separate art, and stats/moves) which is much smaller without horns and can't be ridden. That's the one you can see in the background in the trailer.

You're given Gogoat as a gift around Miare by one of the Rival character to demonstrate the Riding Feature. Riding is limited to a couple of areas, but there's a pretty in-depth racing mini-game as I've mentioned which is the new "Contests".

>What does the token pseudo-legendary look like and what type?
There's two, I guess based on their appearance and part in the Dex.

First one is Dragon/Fire, resembles the classic red/gold chinese dragon, although the first form is shaped like a chinese rocket, while the latter two are long and serpentine.

Second one is Fairy/Steel, the first form is a golden bell with angel wings, the second is more angelic holding bells in its hands, and the third is basically an "angel knight" with trumpets on its shoulders.

>What old pokemon get an evo or prevo?
Eevee, Mawile, Sableye, Dunsparce, Bannette, Tauros, Heracross, Pinsir, Bisharp, Maractus, Cryogonal, and Drifloon for evolutions.

Lickitung, Throh/Sawk (shared), and Absol have the Babies.

There is Poison/Flying "Little Legendary" based on the Zhenniao. Kind of like a green/purple hummingbird. It's known for its extreme beauty, yet its poison is powerfully lethal. I believe it's going to star in next year's film.

Xerneas and Yveltal have two "subordinate" Legendaries.

Xerneas has two Fairy/Grass "tree girls", ones thin, the other's stout, and they're basically humanoid girls covered in orange (the skinny) and green (the stout) leaves.

Yveltal has two Dragon/Flying creatures. One's a golden pegasus, the other's a golden griffin, with spikes on their body that forms a sun-shaped pattern.

There's no straight-up "Z" Legendary, but there's a Water/Rock type which fits the bill in terms of looking like a potential candidate for a third version. It's a giant squid with its head covered by rock formations that resemble an ancient city...it's probably the most impressive looking Legendary I've seen.

It too has what appears to be "subordinate" Legendaries, two pure-Water type Pokemon. They're both monstrous tentacled creatures with multiple, teeth-filled mouths.

There are going to be more Legendaries distributed via DLC, so these are the ones in the game Day-1. I don't know anything about those Event Legendaries.

They're not as cool as they sound. Think Psystrike, Psyshock, and Secret Sword.

You'll have a move that's Fighting for example, and Fighting-type Pokemon will gain STAB from it, but when it hits a foe, it's counted as a Flying-type move and the weakness/resistances are based on that.

>what about trios?
The Box Legendaries are the trios now.

Xerneas and the two Fairies.
Yveltal and the Pegasus and Griffin.
Squid and the sea monsters.

Or so it seems to be the set-up. I'm not sure yet how these all are obtained or how they figure into the game plot-wise.

Version Exclusive Early Bugs.

Bug - Bug/Dark. Spider with a "spy" motif, basically has eyes that bring to mind night vision goggles.

Bug - Bug/Ground. Stick-bug, basically Sudowoodo redux. The first form is a little twig that gets blown around everywhere, the second one is very long, and pretends to be a tree by rooting itself to the ground and standing still.

Audino is back, you still have the wriggling grass like in BW.

Nope. Riding (and limited to select Pokemon) is the new walking, you could say.

>old characters or references?

I haven't seen any actual old characters.

There's no outfits of older protagonists like people have been speculating, although that seems like something they may do via DLC down the line. There is, however, a Team Rocket outfit your protagonist can obtain based on Jessie and James' white uniform though, which is pretty cool.

>Fossil pokemon?
There's only one this time around, but the Hoenn and Sinnoh Fossil Pokemon are in the Regional Dex. It's Rock/Dragon, and based off a T-Rex. It's distributed a bit like Spiritomb (requiring multi-player), in that each game has part of its fossil...head, arms, legs, and tail...and you need to obtain the other three parts by trading with other players.

To simplify, your game might only have head fossils. Thus you need to find some extra ones, and trade for the other fossils with other players.

>how do you import pokemon?

You "import" them via a harbor area in Kalos from Unova. You do this via a Downloadable App for the 3DS (the data for it is within XY itself for people without online access). You insert the DS card, select up to 25 Pokemon (they can't have items), and it stores them. Then you put in X/Y, go to the harbor, and receive them and they're sent to your Box. No mini-game.

The only downside is you have to buy (in-game money of course) each Pokemon at the dock, their price based on their level and the Badges you've collected. You can import mid-way through the game, so this tries to downplay simply importing super-strong Pokemon from BW(2). When you buy the Pokemon, you're allowed to rename it too (you have longer nicknames now due to the bigger character limit) although it retains its OT.

>how many characters for nicknames?
12, for the English version at least. A few Pokemon I've seen have more than 10 letter names, but most still follow the old limit.

Fletchling has one evolution, Normal/Flying, nothing spectacular. Looks like woodpecker, elongated beak, and carries on the arrow motif, with its body being very "sharp".

Pancham has one evolution, Fighting. Looks like one of those Japanese "Bosozuku" and carries around a bamboo sword.

Helioptile doesn't evolve.

Gym Types are Bug, Fairy, Normal, Fighting, Ghost, Ice, Fire, and Psychic, and you do them in different order based on Version.

Bug, Fairy, Normal is located in Central. Then X goes to the Mountains and does Ice and Fire, while Y goes to the Coast and does Fighting and Ghost. Then they switch, with X going to the Coast, and Y going to the Mountains.Then Psychic is the final one located back in Central.

I'd say Poison, there's a healthy amount of New Poison Pokemon, including the Zhenniao Legendary, and they've got an advantage over Poison, but that's just my opinion.

Well, you're forced on a basic path in terms of Gym Progress beyond the different order between versions, but there's more side-areas to explore beyond the Gym Towns that you can visit at your leisure.

Nope, not outside of player vs. player matches.

You have four rivals. A roughneck childhood friend who wants to stop bullies gets the Weaker Starter, a fat, rich kid who believes money can do anything gets the Stronger Starter, and you meet a traveling hiker looking for her "perfect place" who has your Starter, but stronger and already evolved when you first meet her,

The main rival is a "Pokemon Rider" turned bounty hunter who begins as your mentor and gives you Gogoat, but turns into a jerk due to losing to the bad guys and becomes increasingly a true rival to you, eventually becoming the champion. He uses Tauros and, later, its evolution as his main Pokemon.

>what does sableeye's evolution look like?
Humorous. It's basically a bigger Sableye, but its eyes are even larger and give it the appearance of a grinning nerd with glasses, basically. It collects and obsesses over gems, and its always carrying them around.

>who's the girl trainer who looks like a protagonist in the trailer?
In the first forest area near the beginning of the game you're joined by a character who follows you around and introduces you to various features, a little tutorial. She's a daughter of the Professor.

>cool poison types?
There's a neat Poison/Steel 2-stage line based off motor engines, they basically spew smoke out of exhaust pipes.

The second form is basically a metallic dude wearing an old-school biker trench-coat and hat, with smoke stacks popping out of his back. They're right next to Pancham and his evolution, so I think they're counterparts in a way because of the "gangster" theme.

>shinies still there?
I don't know. I assume Shinies are still in, but I don't know what colors they utilize. Some Pokemon in the Regional Kalos Dex have slight alterations (slightly different patterns, fur, small color changes) based on which of the three areas you find them in, like Gender differences more or less but region-based, an expansion on Shellos basically.

>where do the new legendaries appear?
Yes, Xerneas appears at the Stonehenge location while Yveltal appears at the mountain top. I'm not sure of exactly how that part plays out, but I know that's where they're obtained.

>Fossils?
Nope, the Hoenn and Sinnoh ones are in the Regional Dex.

>Starting town name
I can't give out names. But I will say that it begins with an "O", and all the major towns and cities this time around in the English version have light-related names.

The southern city like people mention is indeed where the game starts, but it's not the player's hometown. They actually live in the town to the north. At the beginning of the game you and your friend (the Weak Starter Rival) are attending a festival outside the palace.

It's just the first form of the Spy Spider I mentioned, so a pure-Bug Pokemon.

I don't know much about post-game stuff. I've heard nothing about a second region either, I'd say probably not since Kalos is rather big.

Two-stage Capybara Pokemon. Very furry, and they have a "sweating theme", with the first form always having an "anime" sweat drop.

Yes, it's one of the ones that sort of advertises that feature.

Same as BW. But the only HMs are Surf, Fly, Rock Climb, and a new Electric-one that can power up mechanical devices.

"Patrice" (since WPM's source mentioned it I don't see the point in hiding it) is the Professor. A rich man who regularly throws parties, he does this because he studies the interaction between people and Pokemon of different types, and thus uses these gatherings for his research. You, your friendly rival, and the rich rival end up arguing, and he gives you the Starters to see how different personality types bond with Pokemon.

The "Pikachu clone" is an Electric/Water type, and it's literally "platypus" Pikachu, as in a Pikachu with a red duck beak, and a large, beaver tail, and webbed feet. In-game it's constantly referenced how it strongly resembles Pikachu, so they're having a bit of fun with it.

>what can I ride besides gogoat?
No, as I mentioned last thread there are multiple land, sea, and air Pokemon that can be ridden in certain areas.

The three looks are the only ones. But there are multiple clothes and accessories.

Lots. The worst defensive Typing ever...Ice/Rock...makes its appearance as an Ice/Rock Igloo Camel that evolves from a little white camel with a snow globe on its back.

>favorite starter evo line?
Froakie's, because I like how "Japanese artsy" it looks.

>how large is the region?
Very large. Some routes have little spots where you can walk off the main path for a bit and discover a hidden patch of grass, for example.

>how many new pokemon?
I won't say an exact number, but there's more than Sinnoh in terms of new Pokemon, and the Regional Dex is on par with BW2.

>dual type attacks?
I mentioned this last time, but they're just single-typed attacks but their effectiveness is based on another type. So a Fight-type move, that Fight-types get STAB from, that acts like a Flying move when it comes to calculating weaknesses and resistances.

>new bonding mechanic
Like people have speculated it's basically an expanded version of "Happiness", which is now visible. The device on the PCs' arms allows them to "connect" with Pokemon by touching them, and you can see what they're thinking about you, their likes and dislikes, and their happiness. Pokemon now gain EXP based on their overall happiness level and the level difference between it and the foe, so your Pokemon level up faster and faster the more you battle.

Two Pokemon in your team can also partner up even in Single Battles; you use the arm device to set up pairs. The active Pokemon in the partnership gains a small stat boost in battle from the one on standby based on their stats. Each Pokemon Species also has a unique Bond Ability, separate from their normal Ability, which grants a certain effect to the Pokemon they partner with. Finally, there's a bar in battle that fills up...when it fills, you can have the Pokemon on standby use one of its attacks to assist the Active Pokemon without the need to switch. Bonded Pokemon also increase in Sync, which boosts the stat gain and the time it takes for the bar to fill up. Sylveon actually evolves by getting full Sync with any Pokemon, and Heracross and Pinsir evolve through the same method when they reach full Sync with one another.

It's definitely something that will shake up the game as which Pokemon you pair together is part of the strategy.

Three I mentioned in the last thread...Mawile's "pigtailed" evolution that seems like a shout-out to Miku, and the two "Xerneas Subordinates" that are basically elfish woman with leaves covering their body. One of them is also kind of BBW if you're into that.

I'd say those are the immediate "waifu" that spring to mind.

They trade "armor"...their shredded shells. So Pinsir has on some blue armor, and carries around Heracross' old horn like an axe, while Heracross gets some brown armor, and Pinsir's old horns are attached to its wrists like tonfas.

They're pretty cool looking.

Yes. There's an Ability that causes a Tailwind-like effect, and there's two new Weather effects, one that summons a magical moon that helps Fairy and Psychic Pokemon, and one that and one that summons a ghostly fog that powers up Ghost and Dark Pokemon, with Abilities to summon both learned by certain Pokemon.

There are two new Entry Hazard moves. A Bug-type move that has bees sting the opponent, and an Ice-type move which summons black ice that causes Pokemon to trip. They and Steal Rock no longer can quadruple, instead they merely double effectiveness even if the Pokemon is 4X weak to Rock/Bug/Ice, so they're not as problematic. There's also an Ability that causes Entry Hazards to backfire on the opponent.

Yes, Dreamworld and the Global Terminal are being continued, but will be revamped with new features and such. I'm not sure about the exact details though.

Yes, there is a 1-stage Dolphin Pokemon, it's Water/Psychic and uses sound-waves and has floating rings around its body. There's no Pistol Shrimp, but there's a 2-stage Water and Water/Fire Shrimp -> Lobster line that's literally "foaming at the mouth" and "boiling mad" respectively.

No, I've seen nothing that's a continuation from the Unova plot, bar the device I mentioned last time, the wristwatch that allows you to bond, which was created by Achroma, but he himself doesn't appear and it's just mentioned in a throw-away line.

Yes and no. You get a little touch-screen phone that does the same stuff, but also has additional features like receiving email from in-game characters and people on your friend list, and a little map of the area you're in.

>why is the pokedex divided?
Mainly just for flavor. Depending on the version though, you tackle the two sides in a different order. Also some Pokemon have minor variants in appearance depending on the section.

The "Main Rival" is basically a cowboy, a young adult. There are various side quests, such as delivering mail around the Region, and finding workers for a mining operation. Lots of stuff to do.

Bug Gym Leader is female, a horticulturist with short hair and wearing a gardener's outfit. Fairy is an idol singer, Normal is a male cowboy, related to the Main Rival, Fighting is an armored jouster dude, Ghost is a nun, Ice is a "Noh" actor wearing white makeup, Fire is a male Indiana Jones looking explorer, and Psychic is a frail looking old woman in a wheelchair.

I'm honestly not sure about a lot of the plot. I do know that, late in the game, you visit the northern most town and travel back to a previous "cycle" in Karos' history.

Like WPM's info said, through items. The items are genes, basically successors to the Berserk Gene. One changes Mewtwo to the one that's been revealed, which is the pure form. The other one changes Mewtwo to his other new form form which is more or less the "corrupt" form, very vicious looking and more classic-Mewtwo looking. He stays Psychic however in both, but changes stats and abilities.

No older ones, none of the new Weather Effects change Castform since they're not "weather". There's also no alternate Genesect Form like people have speculated.

Pairing up certain Pokemon in battle with the "team up" mechanic (this is how you get Sylveon and the Heracross/Pinsir evolutions), winning a mini-game, and defeating certain Pokemon stand out.

That's a weird way WPM described it, they're not "battles", rather there's an in-depth racing competition with a land, sea, and air division where you ride on Pokemon. I don't know about Genesect, but Golurk is one of the ones in the Air Division. It's not straight up type, but rather certain larger Pokemon that are "rideable".

Parts of WPM's descriptions don't match what I know as I mentioned originally, like the "air battles" aren't straight up battles and I know nothing about the EV stuff he mentioned. But Chespin is Grass/Fighting and a football player while Froakie is Water/Dark kabuki ninja.

One Pokemon can function perfectly fine while frozen, and actually gains a defense/special defense if it's frozen. Another Ability has the Pokemon automatically switch itself out if it's knocked down in the red with a random Pokemon in the party.

Dunno exactly which one I'd consider. Pancham's "gangster" style evolution is pretty humanoid and I guess something furries will love.

Quite a few. Double Slap, Sing, Moonlight, After You, and Attract off the top of my head. Only Normal-type moves are re-typed though.

Can't say the exact date, but the US Version will be hitting a day or so before Japan gets it due to how the release schedule over there is.

A major one is the Gym Order changes...you begin in Central, then X goes to the Mountain and then the Coast, while Y goes to the Coast and then the Mountain, and return to Central for Gym 8.

Team Acid and Base are in both in equal measures, but you meet them in different orders.

Some of the outfits differ between versions, mainly in color. Version Exclusive Pokemon like usual, some of the interface is a bit different colored, and some of the areas have minor aesthetic changes, none as big as the Opelucid Divide.

There's an Electric -> Electric/Fighting Gorilla, but it has nothing to do with the monkeys.

One, and it's the first "reverse branch evolution". There's a pure-Ice and pure-Fire Pokemon that, when they bond through battling, evolve into the same Pokemon, which is Ice/Fire. But they don't fuse...each one individually evolves into the same species, although it looks different depending on who it evolved from.

No to Normal/Ghost. Yes to Fire/Grass, it's a single stage red pepper that looks like a wild west bandit and has little pepper-guns.

>hms?
One new HM that powers Electrical Equipment. Only Fly, Surf, and Rock Climb return.

There's an Ice/Fairy based off Jack Frost (not the Atlus one), and a two-stage pure-Fairy that is based on tofu, sort of a Jigglypuff counterpart.

There's a new three-stage line of pure-Ghost Pokemon that are the new "Gastly" line like Roggenrolla and Timburr were to Geodude and Machop. They're ghostly newts which disguise themselves as a baby, salary man, old man, they look like a mix between Scraggy and the old Sugimori Charmander, but have bloodshot eyes.

>seasons return?
No Seasons. You find the different Deerling/Sawsbuck around the map (summer in the south, fall in the north, winter in the east, and spring in the west), and if you use one from another location in those locations in battle, they will change to that seasonal form.

There are a few more areas, but nothing extreme. No second region.

There are more New Pokemon than Sinnoh, but less than Unova.

There's one that's very expensive, but has a high catch rate with shiny Pokemon. There's one made exclusively for catching Fairy-types.

It's the Ice Leader's Gym. They're a Noh dancer who prays to the crystal, and you battle them in-front of it in a ceremony.

I haven't seen a lot of in-game text, but there's no huge obvious ones beyond a mention of Achroma creating the wrist-watch "Bonding" device.

Waiter/Waitress, swimming outfit (it's a one piece though for the girl, the boy has a tank-top and trunks), karate gi, and lab coat are some of the ones I've seen. There's a Team Rocket (Jessie and James' style) outfit too you get, the only nod to an actual character I've seen though, and it seems like it'll be distributed via an anime tie-in event I guess.

Sylveon's signature move does damage based on the amount of Pokemon you have remaining, like a Spirit Bomb as it gathers up its allies energy.

>will fairies look like fairies?
Some of the Fairy Pokemon might not appear to be Fairy if you've got a certain impression in your mind of them all being "Tinker Bell", modern looking.

There's a Psychic-line that are red and black, based off tuning/forks dowsing rods (counterpart to Abra, actually, as they evolve via Trading) that look nothing like traditional Psychic-types and look far more metallic like they should be Steel or Electric.

>personal favorite of the new pokemon?
Out of the ones you've seen, Helioptile. Out of the ones I know, my favorite is probably the Poison/Steel I mentioned last time that's basically a metallic trench-coat wearing humanoid with exhaust pipes coming out of its back. It's 2edgy4u all the way, yet appealing to me.

The main Rival, the Cowboy, is pretty cool and has a nice character arc, looks pretty handsome as well. In my opinions he's riding on N's coattails by being a similar character, not personality wise, but function.

>tauros evo?
Very "Gen 1/4 evolution" style, just larger and more intimidating. Looks pretty down-to-earth yet powerful.

>last pokemon in the dex?
The second pure-Water sea monster Legendary, until we get the DLC Legendaries. I don't know how much of those we'll get, but I'd say probably the usual 3 or so that star in the next set of movies.

>third dude in the trio?
Water/Rock Atlantis Squid. I don't know what role he plays exactly, nor how he fits with Xerneas and Yveltal (bar a new Land/Sky/Sea theme), but he has two subordinate Legendaries like they do. No roamers this time around. And bar Mewtwo via Event, there's no old Legendaries in XY.

No. Once more, Bug, Fairy, Normal, Ice, Fire, Fighting, Ghost and Psychic for X; Bug, Fairy, Normal, Fighting, Ghost, Ice, Fire, and Psychic for Y.

There's a Moss Stone in the forest in the west for Leafeon, and an Ice Stone in the snowy area to the east for Glaceon. There's a magnetic research lab in the desert area in the north for Magnezone and Probopass.

Not sure. I don't know a lot about the post-game, so I assume it's a post-game area.

Mainly through side quests. In the second town, you can volunteer at a diner and play a little game where you memorize orders. If you do it well enough, you get the Waiter/Waitress outfit, the first outfit you get.

Kalos has had a lot of wars in the past. Yveltal basically punishes humans by destroying Kalos, while Xerneas than repairs it, so sort of a "regeneration cycle". They're not enemies, basically chaos and order and keep balance and humans in-check. This was all in the past, and Kalos has seen a couple hundred years of prolonged peace due to Pokemon Battles being the more civil discourse.

>coolest new area?
The snow areas are very beautiful, but I'm a sucker for snow levels in games. Those routes also have a woman "humming" in the background music which adds to the effect. Really, GameFreak outdid themselves as the locations you visit are all pretty interesting and with little graphical touches.

>object based pokemon?
A Steel/Fighting type based on weight-lifting equipment and Fairy Pokemon based on tofu spring to mind as potential candidates for hate. And there's another Bell, although it evolves into a Pseudo-Legend angel.

>pokemon you dislike the most
I don't like Fennekin's final form compared to Chespin's and Froakie's. Cryogonal's evolution is also pretty bizarre, it's a polyhedron with faces on each side.

I think they're actually meant to be Scylla and Charybdis as their names have elements of those.

I'm not that musically inclined, so I can't really pinpoint an exact instrument. Like with BW, the music is pretty varied. Each Gym has its own theme once more, but also each Gym Leader fight has a variation of the Gym Battle theme.

The Wild Battle theme and Trainer Battle theme are pretty catchy classic rock sounding songs. It might just be me, but the Trainer Battle begins with a segment that sounds like the opening riff of She's a Beauty by the Tubes.

There's more "vocal" music, like a woman humming in the snow routes, and the Stonehenge area has some strange voice whispering very creepy gibberish the entire time. There's actually a song recorded for the game that's a beautiful ballad sung entirely in latin that serves as the "main theme" of the game.

I don't know the full details and ins-and-outs of the entire plot, but from what I've read it will probably beat out BW, and gets a little too JRPG-ish, if that's your taste.

Let's just say you actually in-story fail for once when it comes to the climax of the Evil Team plot (although everything turns out okay in the end)

Yes, there are handful of "cinematic cut-scenes", and sometimes during important conversations the camera will switch up camera angles and the characters have some more animations. But it's reserved for the plot important scenes, a lot of the NPC trainers just sort of stand around, for gameplay purposes, although in towns and cities they're a little more active.

Team Acid has three admins: dude with spider dreadlocks, woman with scorpion claw pigtails and stinger ponytail, and a roundish guy with poison frog like patterns on his head.

Team Base has four "Admins" that are basically sages. One is roundish and resembles a turtle, one is flamboyant and resembles a bird, one is very stern with a bear and resembles a tiger, and the other is younger than the rest with large eyebrows and resembles a dragon. They're inspired by the Saint Beasts.

Regional Dex is on par with BW2 more or less. There is a Hold Item which acts as a one-time "Illusion" ability for the Pokemon. Items are still traded via Pokemon. There are 100 TMs (new set) and 4 HMs. There's an in-game Berry Field (left of the castle with the drawbridge in the west) to grow berries, but nothing has changed really.

No, bar the songs with vocals, especially the Latin theme song.

>next pokemon you think they will reveal?
For sure probably Sableye's evolution, since it appears within the Film (I don't know in what capacity), and the Zhennaio Legendary, since it's starring in next year's movie and will probably be teased like Victini was. And since Sylveon's Fairy-type will be revealed soon, they'll probably reveal one of the Fairies, my guess the Tofu one because it seems like a Pokemon they'd advertise.

>camera zoom and wifi?
You can sit down in areas to have the camera zoom out to show you the surroundings.

WiFi features are one of the features I need to keep mum about since they're setting them up, but I will say that you will see local players via Streetpass pop up in your game.

>what kind of backgrounds will we see?
There's a lot of variation based on the area. Sometimes you can even see the nearby town or city in the background. It's like Colosseum/XD in that regard.

Sizes aren't exact, mainly the larger Pokemon are a bit scaled down to fit the hand-held screen in battle. You can compare Pokemon via size in the Dex once more, and in that mode it shows you a more realistic size comparison.

You don't see trainers in-battle, and you only see your trainer's hands.

The Pokemon you can "ride" on in the water-based races have individual Surfing models, which is a select few (mostly the bigger ones that would look natural), the others uses a generic model that looks like a large, black catfish-looking creature.

When you use Fly, the camera is zoomed out and you're lifted in the air by wind with feathers falling down. You then see a first person view of the whole Kalos Region, with clouds covering the places you've yet to visit, and you select a location to fly down by selection a marker...then the camera zooms downward, the screen fades, and your character floats down from the air in a similar fashion as how he took off. It's really cool.
