I'm a member of so many petsites I can't remember them all. I have a list somewhere. I can't help it, I just love adorable little pixels. I wish I had the resources to make my own.

I found Uni from Yarolds which I was using for MyMiniCity. For MMC, Yarolds is a giant pain since there are already a few automatic click sites. But they don't work for Uni so I keep having to go back. That is a great place for exposure for pet sites.

since i've learned, i make it a point to crochet (even just a few stitches at the very least) something every day.
i only have three pet sites, that's quite enough for me! |

Well, yes, that is the difference. And hyping it as driving lots of lots of people over to Uni was not going to happen, especially since it wasn't promoted or supported, at least not that I saw.
I do want to say one good thing for Uni6. It will allow ads that the old Uni could not without nearly crashing the site so it might become profitable that way, at least if the entire userbase isn't driven off before then. Played CRANE. Ooo, I wonder what that is? Win it and see, "Congratulations, you won a scar." o_o Goody! |
I never understood how Brint could play out all his ideas for 'games/sites' and then just expect people would pay to get early access before it was completed. The first time, sure. But after that, I would feel so rude, like I was cheating people out of money. >.>
As for the ads - I would have been fine with ads being added to Uni5. They could be done discretely enough that I don't think it would have been an issue. I know he had a problem with one site that he had chosen to use the ads from (or however that works) but that is his own fault for not doing proper research before picking the site. |
Not pointing any fingers or making any accusations of wrongdoing, but do be aware that Trisphee considers it against the rules to trade on-Trisphee items/currency for off-Trisphee items/currency. (Trading for services is considered acceptable.) We don't enforce it too particularly strictly but it's something that needs said.

Thank you CODA. That is important to point out because a lot of sites don't mind, Uni being one of them. Better to know we can't do that here now, before it becomes a problem.

Uh, oops. Just figured I'd mention it here -- you can open event bundles by going to the "Usable" tab in your inventory; same as Anka Eggs.
