My desire to play a game is nearly always outdone by how cheap I am. I usually wait until a game has been around a while and is cheaper before buying it. Not sure if I'm snatch Skyrim up fast or not. I got Morrowind for a birthday gift.
Lunaryon, You might try putting up a post in the buyer's market. I have one there and got a rune offer earlier today. I'm looking for them too. |
Donating your lunch money might work. :p
Edit @Quiet, I tend to do that, too. I got Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 for $15.00 each around Christmas last year. |
I've been thinking about that, But so far the few threads I make don't ever seem to be visited...
|
I had no idea that this game was going to exist...I need to get my shit together and pay better attention..
|
I just hope it lives up to the hype. That's another reason I might delay my purchase a bit, just to see what people are saying about it the first couple of days.
|
Finally went and watched the trailer.
- drool - The graphics, the landscape, the FREAKING DRAGON GOD! D8 <3 I don't know if I can wait so many months! xD Psshaw excuse me, dragons period. xD |
I am ignoring the hype (which is pretty much why I'm pestering you for answers, Suzerain ;)). I'm just hoping for a standard Elder Scrolls affair. I'm tempted to go get that free download of Daggerfall and give that a go again. Maybe the glitch is gone and I can play through the story. :).
Though dragon god does sound uber cool. |
I'm reading the post about it on Wiki. Perhaps not the best place as all the info might not be true, but it's giving a general idea of everything on it.
|
Wiki can be sketchy at times, but it is a great place to start when looking for info. Some of my professors didn't like it, others said don't quote but use it as a first stop. The articles can lead you to other good sources.
|
- nods -
I think there's definitely more accurate info then not though, because why would people spend so much time putting incorrect things in the articles? D: But anyways, I'm not gonna take all of the stuff about the new game to heart, in case it is incorrect. But it did say dual-wielding! That would just be awesome. 8D And I just can't get over the dragons... it says they can just drop into a town and starting blasting fire! xD |
I use check the boards at Gamefaqs every now and then, since people there keep up on what info gets released in magazines and interviews and the like.
Speaking of which, I just found out that if you hurt a dragon enough, its wings'll get damaged and it'll crash into the ground and be unable to fly anymore. Edit- Dual-wielding is definitely, 100% in. |
Dawwww, the poor dragons. D8
It'd be so sweet if you could ride one of the tamer ones. o - o At least on Wiki it says some aren't hostile and you can speak with them. |
That's nice. I like it more when creatures aren't always hostile and dragons often seem something that can be spoken with, even if they aren't always friendly.

-reads whole thread-
o.o I played Morrowind briefly on the X-box (made a cat-type girl, not that any of you would be surprised there) but I never got around to actually playing it :/ By the time I would have had time for it I didn't have an X-box anymore. But reading this thread makes me interested. I don't usually do the evil thing but it's nice to have it as an option plus it can be fun if done well xD -adds to the as of yet unwritten list- |
Those are the Khajiit. I love them. :). I have two characters right now, Mirri and Nigira. The Argonians are fun too (Lizard types). I like the beast races, though I've only once been disapointed with the lack of boots when I found a dandy pair hiding in a cave. They do walk a little funny though. Takes some getting used to.
|
The first Elder Scrolls game I played was Oblivion and I remember my first character I made was a Khajiit. x3
Love their speed. c: I'm not sure about this, are there the different races in the new game or not? I haven't come across anything saying so yet and I haven't seen images of any other races. >: |
