The guy who plays Sam in lord of the rings was at a convention and we didn't want to pay money to go meet him xD so my bf did a drive by cellphone photo that is pretty much too blurry to even tell.

I... um... >.> I worked in Hollywood for a couple years. I've worked with Tim Russ, Walter Koenig, Robert Picardo, and Grant Imahara. (Walter likes to play up the dirty old man angle, but he's a sweetheart. Grant is a really nice guy.) I've met Vic Mignogna on a couple different occasions. (Also a nice guy.) I was in the building while the Red Hot Chili Peppers were recording one of their albums, although I didn't get to meet any of them. My wife's met Scott Adsit (Baymax's voice actor) and got him to record a message in-character to our son. We got one from Grant too. She's also good friends with Ash Paulsen.

OH I guess I have also met Vic Mignogna, that guy gets around. XD

This is gonna be completely off-topic, but I'm amused at how easy it is to recognize a person just from their avatar.

I think most people have a sort of "theme" they tend to stay within for their avatars.

Oh man, I remember my newbie avatars :| I had joined right in the middle of Nox, I think? and EVERYTHING was red and black. It was great, and awful in hindsight.

There are a few things in my closet that I made while trying to mimic another user's style...hm. Spoilers for each person imitated. A couple of these should be really obvious to oldbies.

Well, I was a gofer for Star Trek: Renegades, so naturally. :P

I think a lot of people (myself included) also tend to stick to a particular set of facial features even when everything else changes.

EDIT: Espy, I don't remember who some of those are, but I remember you having a couple of those avatars.

I almost always use blue/green hair, some variety of skin replacement overlay, the eyes from Ira, and something from Jellyfisher. (My current skin is three Jellyfishers.)

So, yeah, those things are definitely true for me, lol.

By the way, Galla, I haven't ALWAYS looked the same. You forget the time I was in a white mage outfit for a couple months. (Same hair and face though.)

I've met... a lot of Transformers voice actors, Vic Mignogna (There's a story here on how I unintentionally traumatized him, and it's a sfw story, just under a spoiler for length. I was young, and didn't know better.), Travis Willingham, and several other voice actors who worked on Fullmetal Alchemist. It goes hand in hand with me doing conventions. I honestly prefer Transformers conventions to anime conventions anymore, because I've gotten older and the anime crowd hasn't.

When I'm not making tributes to my favorite Transformers, being totally random and putting stuff together just for the lulz, or trying to cosplay as someone, I tend to make my avatar look like me as much as I can ('s part of why I want longer skirts for the avs!). My IRL wardrobe has a lot of black, and blue, in it, but I favor a long brown skirt for when I do wear skirts, though I also have an identical black one.

I still don't understand why Vic Lasagna Mignogna has so many fangirls.

He was the only voice actor we could get for our convention in Boise Idaho, so he started coming back every year. So I think every fan person in Boise has met him >.>;
