Riyo is relieved when they're called into the other room, waiting in one of the smaller rooms now. "this is better. now we're not the only ones out there. That was a bit weird. I think we're the first ones in though." He smiled, stroking Vivi while they waited. He wasn't sure if Vivi would have to strip to be examined this time or not until the ultra sound or something.

Riyo isn't the only one relieved. "Yeah....it was uncomfortable. All females...." He nuzzles into Riyo a bit. "And we're the weird ones..." He whines a bit softly...but after a few moments of stroking, he starts purring softly, becoming more relaxed. "I'm glad you're here." Even though, technically, it's Riyo's fault that he has to be here anyway, but that doesn't matter to him.

(And I'm still debating on whether he has to strip or not LOL)

"mhm I told you I would. I also have to be to know things and stuff. I'd never leave you here alone without worrying. So I never will leave you here alone." Riyo says honestly. He continues calming Vivi until the lady shows up for them.

"I'm glad you stuck to that." Vivi leans up and kisses him. "Thank you." He kisses him again. Thank you for everything, giving him a home, feeding him, and all this.

Then the ob/gyn person lady comes in. "So....tell me what you do know?" Like best estimate of how far along....what they do know about this, which may not be much and the like.

He pets Vivi, about to sit in his lap when she enters. He thinks for a moment, also letting Vivi have room to speak since he's the one that would know more about the going on in his body. "uh. we assumed something was up tuesday, extra hungry and such." He let Vivi talk if he was going to. He didn't want to say when they'd done anything but probably would have to answer.

(was it friday? lol)

Vivi whines softly at her question. "Um....like he said....all I wanted to do was eat pretty much..." He's not looking at the nurse/doctor. He's embarrassed/just got hit by some shyness in the face. He's just going to fidget a bit now.

"Well, okay then....have you started on some prenatal vitamins? And you'll also need to watch the balancing of foods. Shellfish is a no...but that doesn't mean any fish...just got to watch your consumption. And I'll probably write a script for some folic acid...to prevent certain problems."

(I watch birthcontrol commercials and I watch I didn't know I was pregnant lol)

Ryou nods. "We bought some and got a prescription filled for more." He wondered if there was anything else he;d need. "what about the pee on a stick thing that tells the weeks before any ultra sound would?" He asked, knowing she would be the one to know. He didn't want to mention condoms though.

"Good, but he's got to take them too...and those sticks aren't reliable necessarily....just like any pregnancy test, but a doctor can also be wrong about how far along someone is. Which is why we ask when it crossed your mind...there might be a bun in the oven." Horrible pun is a go! "Blood tests are the most reliable as long as there is no human error." AKA if a human doesn't fuck it up...it's correct. "There is one suggestion I need to make since he is pregnant. You." That means Riyo. "Need to use condoms if you're planning on sex during the pregnancy, it is more common for nekos to release another egg while pregnant...which means if you aren't careful...or if you have bad luck...he could end up pregnant with more children...which may be born at the same time with the younger ones possibly having problems." This has happened with humans before though it is rare. It is possible and is a nasty surprise to get at an ultrasound. "I only suggest condoms because he can't go on birth control while pregnant because it can hurt the baby."

Riyo couldn't help but chuckle at the pun, but nodded about the pills. "Is it alright if they're broken in half and taken that way?" Riyo nodded, saddened a little. But he would do it. "any brand recommendation? I hear most break easy and there are others to avoid altogether." He sighed, he would have to pull through. He didn't want them swimming in kids. At least not yet or to cause any problems.

"Long as he ends up taking the entire pill everyday..I see no problem with that what so ever." She smiles at him. "Ah, not particularly....except those brands you never heard of...unless in those stories? Don't buy them.....they're usually the cheaper ones and they do seem to break more often. But please make sure you put them on right. Most people got the wrong size or don't properly put them on and take them off." The swimming in kids thing is the only reason she suggested condoms. "Just find one you like...and after the birth...we'll see about some form of birth control. Though you'll still need to use condoms until we do some blood tests and all. There's no guarantees since birth control is meant for humans. We aren't sure what effects it might have on a neko." She sighs a bit, just thinking about how this is why she hates big companies.

"What do the sizes go by...length?" Riyo asked. Since he hadn't really checked those out. "when will the blood tests happen then? We were going to go to the pharmacy after this." He didn't mind her. She was very helpful. Though he didn't like the idea of condoms, he'd try. Probably test them out later too. He might have to wear them after birth too if no birth controls work. Though if they want more they could plan it better that way too.

"Well...they go by length and girth. Though a "large" in one type of condom maybe not be as big as another large. There might be a lot of guessing and testing going on with the condoms." She starts digging through a cabinet and gets out a box and hands it to Riyo. "It's a variety pack that we've started to put together...mainly because we have this feeling that more nekos will be like this. I wouldn't want to waste a ton of money on the guess and test. Of course not everything is in there so....you might still end up buying some anyway." She sighs a bit...wishing everything could be done and everything, but this is new to everyone. "Well, we can do those today...or wait until you two schedule an ultrasound. Whichever you two prefer."

"ah. well whatever does end up working of these if any, then I'll just get those." Riyo though for a moment wondering what Vivi thought would be better. He would go with Vivi's answer for the blood test. "it depends whatever you want to do. Now or later. Though now it would be over with." Riyo said to Vivi, stroking his hair.

(C: since they need to actually do it in da bedroom sometime >D )

"Okay then....just make sure you use them until we're pretty sure the pills....shot....whichever he ends up on is working. Then you might want to use them anyway....just in case."

"Either way..." Vivi leans into the touch a bit, purring softly. "We're coming back whether I do it now or later..." He's not big on getting stabbed with a needle.

"We can do it next time. It won't take that long either way." She says before giving Riyo the prescription for the folic acid. "Make sure these are taken too. If he doesn't...nothing bad may happen....or it might happen."

(lol the bedroom is overrated lol)

"alright. I guess that sounds good. so we make the next appointment out there or here?" Riyo asked, wondering since the sooner the better was the best option. He would get that prescription filled too and go home. He would test out the condoms, if they broke or not. He remembered hearing that the sex center in the school was playing with condoms before, blowing them into balloons and such. Seeing their actual accuracy and durability.

(lol the pride? room at the uni across from my school did that >D sex center ...something whatever it was. it was a nice gay hangout for lunch lol)

"Talk with the receptionist. It won't be for awhile though...if he's at the point you say....there really wouldn't be anything to see to tell you the truth....so back to your life now." She chuckles a bit.

Vivi moves away a bit so Riyo can get up and they can make the appointment and leave. Go back home.

"alright. Probably not." Riyo says after thanking her and leaves to fill out an appointment for a month and a half away. Surely by then there may be something. Right? It was November now so the appointment was for the middle of December, around the 17th. "shall we go get those things?" Riyo didn't wait for an answer as they went to the pharmacy after. This was a very long walk for today in a short amount of time too. "If you get tired I'll carry you." He said as he got the prescription filled and went home with all those things.

Vivi just pads after Riyo, sucking on a fingernail again, feeling anxious again back in the waiting room. "...okay....let's go." As they wait for the prescription to be filled, Vivi just wanders about looking at things. On the way back, he's walking a bit slower than normal. He's tired a bit, but refuses to sat anything since he'll be able to rest when they get back.

Riyo ignores Vivi's slow walking until they're halfway home. Hoisting him up onto the back whether he liked it or not. He didn't want Vivi to overdo anything. He would feel bad if he did and something bad happened. "We're almost there so don't worry about it and just rest up. You can rest now and when we get back. I'll be trying to find my right size out of the box." He shakes it also wondering if the sexual diversity center has what would fit him.

(ha! I remember the name of the place >D yay)

Vivi squawks a bit as he's hoisted up on Riyo's back. He just clings before nuzzling into Riyo's neck a bit. "But....I can walk the rest of the way." He's blushing a bit at the finding the right size part...which Riyo can feel the heat against his skin. "I hope...you find one that fits?" That's just kind of awkward a bit.

"mmm at least that's why it's a variety pack. We should swing by the diversity center some time too. They've got tons of books and things and free condoms too. They may have some books we'll probably need to read anyway." Riyo said as they got inside the campus now. He stopped off at the vending machine, buying milkshakes. "Here's a treat." He hands one to Vivi as they head to their dorm.

"Yeah...well...I hope one you prefer is in there somewhere." Vivi kisses him on the cheek randomly. "What's the diversity center?" He doesn't really know what that mean. "What...kind of books?" He tilts his head a bit. He halfway starts purring at the milkshake thing. "Thank you." He's glad he isn't being cut off from sweets. It would make him so depressed.

"it's a supporter for gay,straight. Life issues, sexual information and things like that. Helping the students with those things too. So it is also counselling too. So you can imaging the book variety in there." Riyo said, not meaning to embarrass Vivi when he felt him heat up again. He was alright in giving him milkshakes as they had some healthiness to them. "I'm sure there'll be some or something. Well time to go try. Wanna read any of your books?"

"Oh...okay...so it's a help center pretty much?" Vivi tilts his head a bit. He can't help but blush a bit. He wishes he could control that reaction, but so far he can't...and probably never will. "Yeah....I guess..." Though he'll probably try to avoid the manga for right now. He kinda just wants to read more harry potter right now....and not watch Riyo try on condoms.

(That sounds weird lol)

Riyo nodded, grabbing the books he figured Vivi would want to read. He'll eventually make him read the others, or the books in the diversity center. "yeah kind of. But they also play movies and stuff sometimes too. They also make balloons out of the condoms sometimes. I only heard about it all. Maybe turn on the tv too..." Riyo said as he wandered off with the box. He would be a while. First he'd separate the different ones and their pairs. There was more than one of each type.

Eventually may be a long long time away. Just so everyone knows. "...movies? What kind of movies?" He's curious obviously. He likes the movies he's seen so far so he wants to know what type. "Balloons out of condoms? Really?" He start giggling imagining the condom balloon thing. "Sounds like fun to me." He giggles a bit more before going to read as Riyo does his thing.

"mostly movies in general. Like musicals, ones with a few gay topics. That kind of thing. Movies you can also find on tv sometimes." Riyo nods. "If there's any that don't fit that have lots of them. We can blow some up." He found that most of them broke while he was in there. He found that the lifestyles ones were the best as they were the only ones to not break. They were also not too loose either. He was relieved to find that there was also about 7 of that brand in the pack. "We have lots of balloons in here. But I found one brand." He shouted from the bathroom. After 5 minutes, he was out and dressed again. He was a little saddened having wasted one but he did use it anyway to try it out. He placed the rest in Vivi's lap.

(lol it;s the only brand I thought of besides Trojan =p )

"Oh....can we watch one of those movies sometime then?" Vivi looks up at him, hopefully and all. Vivi starts giggling again at the idea of blowing them up as balloons. And as Riyo calls out, let us watch Vivi turn beet red. It just feels awkward here to him. He puts down his book. He stares at the different kinds of condoms. "What;s the difference between these really?"

(trojan is about all I see at Wal-Mart)

Riyo nods. "Sure. We'll get the recommendation too. Their favourite ones that is." Riyo laughs a bit. "They're all trash so uh....different sizes and durability is all really. Some are scented though. I found what I don't mind. The rest here are all not my type so they'd be good balloons for now. What doesn;t get used as balloons we can just donate to the center when we go. And I can see if they have more of these ones." He held up the handful that he did keep.

"Then...let's just give them all to them....since people could use them...." And be safe and prevent pregnancies if they use them. "And that's good....found one..." He's still blushing a bit. If Vivi was the top...they wouldn't have to use condoms. Idea right there. "I hope they have more..." He isn't oblivious to how Riyo can be, but he doesn't dislike it obviously.

"alright. When do you want to go for movies and that stuff? It's only early yet and we have time. But if you want to wait we can too." Riyo nodded. "Well if not I seen the box for these kind at the pharmacy too. And they're sensitive so I won;t break out from the rubber or anything. Some things I can't wear. Like rubber gloves or latex..." He wondered if Vivi ever wanted to top him. Probably not until after birth, but maybe before he gets big too.

"Um....well.....lets go do something else until then?" No point in just staying there until then. Vivi blushes a bit, thinking about the break out thing and what it means. "Ah....are you allergic to it....or something?" He tilts his head a bit. Vivi, in theory would never actually top really...at least not the first time. But there's a difference between being top and penetrating at the same time.

"hmm like what?...kind of an allergy but that's only if I wear that stuff more than 5 minutes. So I'm all right and these ones take note of that too." Riyo wonders what Vivi had in mind since he didn't really want to sit around the dorm unless he was going to use at least one. "your choice. We stay...I use one of these. Or. We go, we get backup of these and something to watch and maybe read up on." He dangled one of the condom wrappers in his mouth.

"I....don't know?" It isn't like Vivi had anything in mind...he just doesn't want to sit around here forever. "It's a delayed allergic reaction." Vivi starts blushing lightly. "Um....whichever you'd rather do?" He's fidgeting a bit. Especially since he doesn't know, well he has an idea, on what Riyo wants to read up on...

"Come on then. Let's go for a walk. We can stop off at the cafeteria for another wrap along the way and milkshakes too. Homemade though." Riyo smiles, stroking Vivi before getting ready to go, placing the leftover condoms in his bag and the wrapper for the one he tried and didn't mind.

Vivi purrs, his tail swaying a bit, as he leans into the touch. "Okay then....sounds good to me." He just smiles and takes Riyo's hand as they walk. "Those wraps are always delicious." Plain and simple. Or maybe Vivi just likes almost every type of food or something. He just randomly leans up and kisses Riyo lightly.

"Just don't get any weird cravings or anything. I hear sometimes that can happen." Riyo rubs Vivi's tummy a little. Not that it'll grow or anything for a bit. But he would get Vivi used to it either way. They got the wraps and ate them while walking up to the diversity center. He figured the milkshakes could wait until after the trip.

"I guarantee nothing. If I get weird cravings....I get weird cravings. If I don't...well, I don't." Vivi just shrugs a bit. He won't be able to control the cravings anyway...and sometimes those cravings are due to being low on something that the craved food has. He makes a weird little noise at the rubbing. He still isn't big on the idea of other people rubbing his tummy..it's okay if Riyo does. It is his child forming in there somewhere. So he has that right...or at least that's what Vivi is going with.

"hmm...yes just don't send me all over the place looking for weird food combinations all the time. If you do you're coming with me." Riyo smiles, kissing Vivi's cheek. They get to the room and exchange condoms. Riyo is glad they have lots of other mixed samples and is allowed to take all the sensitive ones he can find. He grabs a few movies, including RENT. He also looks around at the books, finding a few preg ones as well. He borrows them for now as it'll be good for them to read up on stuff.

"I don't plan on doing that...." He doesn't plan on having any weird cravings at all, but they'll probably happen anyway. "But I'll go with you either way..." Unless he's been ordered on bed rest or something like that by then. He ends up staring at the different kinds of condoms. "Why are there so many types?" He doesn't see why there needs to be so much variation. He just follows Riyo around, looking around a bit himself as well.
