well when we were together we were sleeping on a couch... he was living out of the back of his car and i had no personal anything and we did just fine with each other

Hm, just 24/7 is different even from living together for a week or two. Alpha and I had no problems until month 3.

Tiva and I want to get a pet (namely a puppy or kitten) but our apartment won't allow us to have any pets besides maybe some small fish.
