Roland grabs the keys from Jayden then turned to face the back door. "I just want to go inside. And I don't have my keys to the precinct right now." He unlocks the back door and walks in halfway. "But maybe if I were up to something... Would you even want to be part of it if it meant becoming a criminal in the end?"

Jayden's eyes remain on Roland, "All depends what that something is, if it's something that I believe in as right than yes, I would be willing to be part of it. Even if it meant having to give everything up, I rather go with my morals than against them."

Chloe's cheeks burn at Zaki's comment before turning her attention over to the watches, "You really outdid yourself this time, Zaki." she picks one up and puts it around her wrist, "And that would take a lot off of my mind even when she comes back home, you don't know how often I worry about her. If I had the extra money, I would sell the flat and move to another district, somewhere safer.."

Roland looked down at his feet. "Morals huh?", he said softly. "But what if your morals conflict with what is right?" Roland shook his head. "Never mind what I said Jayden. Just... Safe guard those you hold close. I think things are going to change very soon."

"Who says one's morals will always follow what our society calls right?" Jayden pushes away from the wall and putting his hands in his pockets before shaking his head, "And as much as I would love to take your advice, the moment you use those keys, I'll be just as guilty as you cause they will question where you got the keys from and it won't take a rocket scientist to put two and two together and figure out whom gave you those keys, Roland."

Roland laughed. "I'm not planning to use your keys for anything." He let go of the door with the keys still in the lock. "But I wonder what makes any one persons morals right and another's wrong", he said as the door closed behind him.

I'm just wasting my time. I can hardly hear them. Makoto sighed, and rolled onto her back, staring at the sky for a moment. All I really heard was a conversation on...morals.

She rolled back onto her stomach, and continued to watch Jayden and Roland. This is better than waiting for something to happen inside this police station.

Chloe sighs and leans back, "Yes, I agree with you on that one. Even if there was a chance I could find work out of Japan, I would be willing to accept it but the question of leaving everything behind stops me." she looks at Zaki, "That is true, I do worry a great deal about her, especially her health. The doctors kept saying she would never live past her tenth birthday and that the last three years have been a gift to cherish.. and at times, I wonder if I did the right thing. Many people thought I was stupid, at my age, taking full guardianship of a sick child even if she is my sister and I fear, each day, she could relapse and I would end up losing her. She's my life.. if she was gone.. I wouldn't know what to do, Zaki."

Jayden chuckles to himself, hearing what Roland said before the door shuts, That, Roland, I can't answer, you'll have to find those answers for yourself. Taking the keys from the door lock, he clips them back on his belt, he had no plans on returning back to the chaos of the Police Station. Besides, what Roland had said about safe guarding those he cared about, troubled him.
He rarely if ever had anyone he could care about, most of the people he knew here were just people he spent one or two nights with enjoying a drink and hearing the local dirt about this one or that. But they never exchanged telephone numbers or made plans to meet up on days off to do things. Hell, in the past two days he probably spent more time with Makoto than anyone else here but in regards of him actually caring about her..
That wasn't an option, he was here to do his job and nothing more. After that, he would probably be sent back to London and good chance, when that day came, he would no longer have any contact with Makoto or Chloe or anyone else in Japan.. he was not someone who believed in happy endings nor that distance made the heart grow fonder crap.. not after Kim..
Deciding to take a walk around the block, maybe things would settle down in the Station for him to be able to do the report cause he already know his hands were tied when it came to helping Hayate anymore.

HAYATE

Hayate cracked his eyes open slightly, and immediately shut them again. Too bright. Maki, I appreciate carrying me in and giving me a really nice bed, but you could have given some thought to my head...

...My head?

He kicked the sheets away from him and quickly tried to sit up, ignoring the jackhammer-like roar in his ears. Sudden resistance greeted him.

*Clink.*

He slumped down on the too-fluffy pillow again, arms somehow too leaden to move and support him. Where exactly was he...? The last thing I remember was...erm...

Oh. Right. Didn't I try to beat up that one policeman...?

He quickly pushed himself all the way up, this time with more effort from his legs. The police station. This must be its hospital wing. He glanced down. So that's why... He hadn't noticed before due to the massive amount of padding and bandages neatly wound around his wrists.

Of course they wouldn't leave a Skull unattended to and unhandcuffed, now, would they? he though bitterly, head pounding. Damn that policeman...!

"Well that's not very nice." Roland rounded the corner to the medic wing of the police headquarters. Leaning against the doorway he folded his arms across his chest. "And here I was worried about you."

HAYATE

"I never knew there was protocol requiring Skulls to be nice."

Hayate lay still with his eyes closed, trying to stop his head from throbbing madly. "Really, there is no need to worry about me. What is one less Skull to you? I mean, appreciating the thought and all, but I am pretty sure you mentioned something about wiping Flame Skull off the face of this world."

Roland scratched his cheek. "That... That might be a little out of context." He walked over to the bed in which Hayate was laying in and pulled up a chair to sit next to him. "I'm not interested in having you turned over to the hunters. What I am interested in is how you ended up being arrested in the first place."

HAYATE

"...Need you ask? Have you seem the Hunter's face? I am pretty sure that tells all." Hayate inhaled deeply.

"...Talk. Of course. A Hunter would only ever want to talk to a Skull, not hunt them!" His voice rose both in pitch and volume. "She has a grudge on me! And what did I do?! I only tried to help my friends!"

Chloe's cheeks flush a bit more as Zaki takes her hand, Is he like flirting with me? "I know you would. I wish it was that simple that an invention could cure her but that technology, well, there's no way you or me would never have access to something like that. Only the top tech skulls ever get to see or use that kind of technology.."

"So you set her on fire because she hurt a friend of yours?" Roland seemed puzzled at the thought that maybe what Hayate did was self defense and would be possible to just let him go. "Hayate, I need details."

HAYATE

Hayate took another deep breath before continuing shakily. "Don't play dumb. She led the raid on the base. You know that. I tried to stall her. I tried! But no, you had to knock me out before I could tell Maki!"

He was now glaring and snarling at the policeman, hands clenched around the bedsheets into tight fists. In his rage, he'd forgotten to jokingly use the nickname he'd made up for the Ryuujin. Then his voice dropped to barely a whisper.

"...She also killed by gramps. It was payback for my stalling her."

He had been out of contact with his faction for the longest of time, he believed many would have said that he had abandoned them and look for a new Ryuujin, but this wasn't the case it never had been. He was indeed flighty and moved in unconventional ways because of it, but one thing that could never be called into question was his loyalty to them. Dropping his hover board he sighed jumping onto it his eyes closed underneath the black bandage he wore over his eyes. It was never really clear why he done such a thing and even if he was asked he just give an innocent grin letting them know if they asked again they'd go missing for a little while. No one dared to ask again as no one really knew if he was joking or not.

"Lets see..." the board began to hover a few feet off the ground, he jamp of kicking it a little "I just upgraded you! Stop throwing a hissy fit." he pouted leaning in he looked at the bored a frown on his face "Okay that's the last time I let a kid near you, they show no respect I swear!" he said starting to open a small panel and without a second thought moved his hands to the circuit board only to pull his hand back as he got shocked. "Fuck!" he said looking at his scorched fingers "Fine, fine you win I should have known better than to kick you." he sighed going back to what he was doing anyone around him would have thought him crazy for talking to his hover board but he believed that like humans, technology had it's own spirit that should be respected.

The facial expression showed nothing but concentration, but he soon began to hum something almost like a chant his fingers moving quickly as he sorted the problem he was having "I seen what she done, that girl is so de--" he trailed off his head looking up as he caught something "Hmm?" he grinned "Not on my watch." he closed the panel jumping on the hovering board "Okay lets try that again shall we?" he said leaning down stroking it almost like a caring friend watching as it got higher "SUCCESS!" he exclaimed as he got over excited he almost fell off but laughed ans re fixed his balance and moved forward at a reckless speed giggling a little.

Continuing on his journey he looked to his back pack and noted which laptop required his attention slipping it off his shoulder in mid flight he brought out the second laptop of ice blue in color and opened it going through the information at a leisurely pace as if he was walking. Dodging any walls, cars or any other obstacle as if he was giving it his full attention which he wasn't luckily he could multi task. Soon he knelt on his board and brought out a second laptop this one was neon green with a sapphire blue bio hazard symbol on the back "They know when to choose to give me information... machine spirit save me." he started to transfer some highly encrypted files as he looked over to the first laptop. "Per-- nah never work." he said closing it putting the ice blue laptop away followed by his green one as he stopped suddenly jumping off as he seen two familiar faces.

Walking over to the window he laughed looking at how the two seemed to be getting close and banged on the window loud enough to draw their attention and not disturb anyone else. Once he was sure he drew their attentions he smiled and waved for a second before beaconing them out "HI KIDDIES GUESS WHO'S BACK!" he yelled in the street picking up his hover board which turned off.

Hearing the bang, Chloe glances out the window and frowns seeing Advent there, What the hell does he want? I thought he ditched town ages ago. Noticing Zaki drop her hand and in quite a state of panic, before realizing who it was.

Sliding out of the booth, grabbing her labtop, she shakes her head in disgust, "I guess we better go see what he wants."

Roland sighed and folded his arms across his chest. "I guess you wouldn't know because I did knock you out... I went to your base to warn them and get the truth. I had no idea that they'd resort to rigging the exits with explosives... And then she killed your grandfather out of revenge?"

For a while Roland was silent. Suddenly he stood up from his seat and slid his hands into his pockets. "If what you are saying is true then you aren't under arrest and because you charged at me and no one else I wont be pressing charges against you either so you'll be free to leave... Just..." he sighed. "Give me a moment and I'll be back to release you."

Roland left the medical wing and head straight to the chiefs office. "Chief I need you to reinstate me." The chief grumbled and turned his attention away from his paper work. "Roland you know you are suspended until further notice."
"And you are going to give notice that I have been reinstated effective immediately. I have things I need to do."
The chief looked at Roland blankly. "Your going to cause trouble again aren't you..."
"Most likely and I'm sorry but I can't sit idly anymore." The chief reached into his desk and pulled out a piece of paper and signed it. "Couldn't even make it two days... But just don't get yourself killed." The chief held out the paper to Roland after he signed it. "Reinstatement authorized." Roland took the paper from the chief and folded it up then slid it into his pocket. "Thank you sir."

Roland made a quick stop at his desk and pulled out his spare keys and badge before heading back to the medical wing where Hayate was waiting. He walked up to Hayate and un-cuffed him from the bed.

Once outside, Chloe leans her labtop against the wall of the Cafe and leans back, a scowl on her face as she glares at Advent, noticing the gaze Zaki was giving her. She had no intentions of mentioning the blood sucker's name, personally cause she never dealt with the vamp skulls, hell.. if she ever caught the skull that stole her phone, he better hope he had a good doctor or else he would receiving phone calls and texts from up his ass.

HAYATE

He mustered, as best as he could, a rather lopsided grin. "I suppose I should thank you, then." He forced himself up, nearly toppled off the bed, glanced around the ward, then added quickly, "...What's the best way to, one, get clothes, and two, get out of here?"

Roland walked over to a locker that was located near by and pulled out a coat and threw it on the bed next to Hayate. "I'll walk you out so don't worry about it."

Advent looked at the two a grin on his face as he knew the two were most likely not happy to see him since it had been six months since he was last heard from, but his whims changed quicker than the weather but they knew what he was like before he even took up the position as the leader, it was a position he didn't want in the first places and even now he didn't want it as it caused more problems than it's worth in his opinion.

By the time the others came out of the cafe Advent would be sat on his hover board his hand out looking at the butterfly that was on it, almost as if he was in deep concentration studying it. "You know saying that you I ditched town, wasn't nice Chloe" his voice was calm as he watched the still butterfly almost in wonder "I do apologise for my absence, things required my attention else where." he said his head lifting as the butterfly flew off "so much wonder in such a sh--" he cut his train of thought short as he looked up a cloud going over the sun/moon (have no idea what time of day it is) "Zaki it's been six months, you call that short?" he asked honestly his head tilting down slightly looking at him. "I just got back but I wanted to show you two something." he seemed excited as he brought down his backpack bringing out the third laptop that was designed with the Yin yang symbol motif.

Opening it he typed in it quickly bringing up schematics on how to boost their devices speeds and reaction times "Not exactly the easiest information I have ever had to come by but worth the hassle I think." continuing to bring up more and more information on things that where never meant to be seen. "This one here is my favourite, I've even started to meld that design with my own board "If we get this right it may give us an edge... but I can't be sure" he sighed stopping what he was doing bringing out his green laptop and began to check over something "Well that's not good,I'll have to see to that later." he whispered a serious tone as he mumbled putting the laptop away. "Talking about rounds how is the vampire king himself?" he asked grinning.

Maki grinned as she left the best barbecue shop in Old Tokyo. She had been able to score some food in exchange for a little manual labor, but she hadn't managed to find herself any shoes. Thus, she was still barefoot. Small rocks and... other things... irritated the soles of her feet as she walked, and her grin was quickly turning into a scowl with each passing step. She winced when her foot met with a particularly large rock, and then growled at the offending stone. "Alright, that's it, I'm going back to Bandanna Man's place!" she shouted to no one in particular and stormed off once again in the direction of the Shrine District.

Once she reached the Shrine District, she started grumbling about 'inconsiderate bastards' and how much her feet were starting to hurt. It had been a while since she'd gone barefoot anywhere, and most of the callouses she'd built up had begun to smooth out again.

The people in Roland's neighborhood were staring at her and muttering to one another again. Maki glared at some of them, but didn't do anything about them... well, that is, until someone decided to throw an orange at her. She felt it hit her just below her right shoulder blade and froze just around the corner to the steps up to Roland's place. She turned around and gazed heatedly in the direction from which the fruit had been thrown. "You folks got somethin' to say to me?" she said lowly as she started flexing her fingers, expecting someone to come at her.

Edge wandered around the docks, looking for any 'Help Wanted' signs. The top brass of the Punishers had told everyone to lay low, so Lillian had decided that finding herself a temp job would be a good idea. After all, it wasn't like the bases would be letting people in and out for a while, not after what had happened to that Flame base.

She pulled some jerky out of her bag and took a bite of it. She leaned against a bait shop and gazed out over the dilapidated harbor, watching the fishing boats come and go. It would be hard for a quiet girl like herself to find work, but she could literally strong-arm her way into some.

Speaking of which, she rolled her injured shoulder a couple times, grimacing at the twinge of pain that went down her arm. She would probably have to get it looked at, but going to a hospital was too risky and any Skull-run medical facilities were probably no different now with all the Hunters about. She let out a quiet 'hmm' as she pondered what to do next.

"Who ever said we had anything of a friendly relationship in the first place, Advent?" she retorts her voice cold, "Couldn't of done us a favor and get yourself eaten by something with teeth? And how should I know? Me and that blood sucker exactly don't exchange Christmas cards you know."

She knew that probably would piss Advent off, but personally she didn't care. She was use to pushing his buttons as much as he was with hers.

Advent listened to the two bringing out his ice blue laptop with a grin "Items needed have already been sorted..." his grin getting wider as he opened the laptop towards them he began to open up some more files though stopped mid way blinking "I'm hungry." he said hopping off his hover board and looked at it "Stay right there." he said as if it was a person walking into the cafe only to order some rice and soya sauce and walk back out sitting on it once more "what was I doing again?" he asked scratching his head sincerely.

It was hard to believe that he even got into the tech skulls let alone ran it with how he acted at the best of times. "Oh Chloe is this because I missed your birthday?" he asked moving into his backpack rummaging around he brought out two items one of them being a book "Rare song book." he said holding it out "I need your hover board so I can upgrade it like mine." he smiled putting the second item away "OH I REMEMBER WHAT I WAS DOING?!" he yelled beginning to work on his laptop with a single hand as he began to eat his rice "All the items we need are here in this location..." he really didn't want to say anything on how he hand managed to pull that on off "A gift from the machine spirit." he said happily before eating once more.

"Ah well for the best." he said thinking about Vincent, as much as he knew it was going to be fun he had to concentrate at least for the moment, his head tilting as le looked at the data and brought around his laptop typing quickly it was easy to see he was concentrating on this task "Shit!" his speed got quicker as he typed. "And Zaki to answer your question... I have been away for six months, what makes you even contemplate I know what has been happening here seriously." his voice was void of emotion even cold as he spoke which was something that had only happened once before and it bore bad results at the end of it.

He's grown more insane than the last time we saw his crazy ass. Chloe thinks to herself, taking the song book, "Thank you." she replies, her expression not changing, And why would I let him any where near my hoverboard? I don't even know where it is at the moment to begin with..

HAYATE

He grudgingly accepted the coat, asking, "What if we run into someone? Do you have a decent excuse?"

Pausing for a moment, he took a second to actually look at the man. Who was he, really? Just a nice policeman? "...I don't know your name."

Advent didn't even look up from his screen only getting quicker on his keyboard once more "Come on, come on.... this shouldn't be as easy for them, they assured me their tracks where covered..." it was blatantly clear that he was becoming more and more agitated. "No right now seeing Vincent wouldn't make me feel better, killing the bastard who thinks they can use technology against me would." he growled a little "I hate building viruses full stop as it poisons the spirit of technology but this can't be avoided, forgive me..." he whispered stopping and closed his laptop.

His eyes instantly went to the notepad and couldn't help but quirk and eyebrow "We have all this technology and you are using a notepad and a pen?" he pauses shaking his head a little "For shame... but I love you so I'll forgive you" He grinned once more taking the note pad "Want to give me a brief run down while I go over your copious notes?" he asked beginning to read knowing he could be there a while. "Chloe, let me guess you lent it out to a sibling again and they've misplaced it again." he said standing "If you can't find it I'll make you a new one and upgrade it." he placed his laptop away before picking up his hover board and walking off in what seemed like a whim.

"I only have the one sibling." Chloe mutters, her eyes narrowing as she watches Advent before looking at Zaki. This meant trouble, if the blood sucker, once those two meet up again, persuaded Advent to join whatever little alliance the other gangs wanted to form, it would mean Zaki and Chloe would have no choice in the matter..

"You are being released and no charges are being filed against you. That's not really an excuse more so then it is the reason." Roland reached out his hand. "Ah sorry about that. My name is Roland. Recently reinstated police officer."

There wasn't much for Makoto to do, since Roland walked into the station, and Jayden walked off somewhere. She rubbed the aching wound on her back, and then poked at the burns on her neck. I really need to be more careful. I don't have an unlimited supply of medical gel, and I don't really have my team with me here in Japan. She sighed and took out her phone. I wonder what those guys are up to. Probably taking it easy on some island, like they said they would.

Makoto turned on the GPS on her phone, and began to examine a map of Old Tokyo and New Tokyo. Some parts of the map glowed red, displaying the areas that she came in contact with the Skulls she ran into, and the remains of the Fire Skulls' hideout. Another part glowed a dark green, displaying the area the mysterious explosion occurred.

So... from what information I have, the Fire Skull Ryuujin Maki is still on the run, probably hiding. We have her friend Hayate being jailed by the Police. The Toxic Skull Kyd is nowhere to be found, and I haven't seen him after Roland saved him. That female Punisher Skull is the same, she ran off after I got incapped by her gang.

Makoto sighed, and kept scrolling through the map. And then we have Chloe, who, thanks to Jayden, is a apparently a Skull. She flipped her phone closed, and slipped it into her pocket. Maybe I'll make a visit to Jayden's flat, and see what I can find there. He still has that communicator I gave him, too. Makoto shot the grappling hook onto the edge of the roof, and rappelled onto the sidewalk.

The walk had been a quick one but it had helped Jayden to clear his head and made him ready for a long night of paper work that was waiting for him, he paused at the main entrance of the Station. It was funny how one little comment from someone he didn't know that well, could make someone stop and think about their live.

Heck, he had a craving for another cigarette but he ignored the urge, he made a mental note that he really needed to stop smoking. Why he ever started, he couldn't remember, most of the kids in London started smoking when they got around Avalon's age and if you didn't smoke, you weren't 'cool'. And back than, that had been the only thing a kid in his shoes cared about.

Deciding to grab a cup of coffee before heading to his desk, Jayden pushes the door open and re-enters the Station.

Watching more of what was going on Zaki could only watch Advent as he looked at Chloe some asking where her hover borad was and that lead to an I don't know answer. The skates Zaki had made hung off his bag as he moved back over to where Chloe was and stood by her trying figure out what was going to happen now.

Vincent blinked some watching the other in a tree it was just amusing to see them in away he thought that Kyd was maybe in away making love to it? No that can't be right, as his crimson eyes continued to watch waiting for a moment to come where he could say something out loud.
