I stand 5.5 hours straight! Mother fuckers.

I stand for the eight hours I have each work day at my cookie packing job.

But I do get breaks -- two 15 minute ones and a half hour for lunch.

I get lunch if I work more than 6 hours. I don't always get my 15's.

Everybody on the line takes their breaks together.

I can only get if I can get coverage. Or if it slows down enough.

That would happen at my old job at the vitamin store at the mall.

That would always happen to my ex when she worked at Target. She'd rarely get 15's and her Lunch would always be at some weird time during her shift.

Mine are always at weird times.

That's hardly fair. They should at least attempt to give it to you in the middle of the shift...

Say the days I work 10-6:30; it can be anywhere from 1 to 2:30 that I go on lunch. Depends who is all on and if others are getting lunch as well

That's not too bad. Hers would be something like 10-7, and they'd want her to take lunch at noon.

That's disgusting. I would be raising a fuss. I can't do the 5.5 hour shifts much any more without having problems because that's over 6 hours by the time I drive and such I go without food. It is advised I eat a little something at least every 4 hours.

I think one should really be allowed a break every two hours at most :/ But that's just me...
