Now, when I left her office the one day, she gave me the go-ahead. Mom says by telling the department head that she is saying that the school is letting me "pass on through," it may upset the department head. I took a class with the department head and passed. My paper for that class was a C, but the TA didn't like I was a Korean sympathizer, saying both the Soviet Union and US were pig-headed and disrupted the proper flow of evolution in a country.

-Nods.- But a C is still passing.

I must have done well on the final for it put me in a good position for ending grade.

Regardless, for her to say that about her department is absolutely disgusting. I thought I'd try to write some up for her to read, but at this point, I don't know that I'll have anything written for her by Monday. And that's all she has for office hours. No other time. And it's one hour, 1-2.
Mom has to be at the hospital by 1.... for her admission into surgery.

Because the managers treat me like crap. I'm really tired of it. When Bob does the scheduling, I am down to a shift a week. I was promised 16.5 hours a week. He's told me to slit my wrists, as a joke. I just don't want to deal with this any more.

I've never been a waitress. I'm afraid of not making enough because they're below minimum wage, and then earn tips. It is, ironically, a customer of ours who asked if I was looking for another/new job. She said that they were looking for people who were good at customer service. So it could be hostess. But she says I always help her out whenever she is in our store. She works for Outback Steakhouse.

Hey Liosh, one thing you should know about wait staff, is that if they don't get enough by tips to make at least minimum wage, the business is supposed to make it up. At least that's what I'm always reading on labor laws. I think you should go for it, during busy times you would likely make far more than minimum wage.
