Procrastinate later, do it now.

Serra Britt 01-25-2012 11:53 PM

Well, I'd say quality usually doesn't come with being tired :p

Arsis, that's a GREAT saying though.

Espy 01-25-2012 11:54 PM

...You know, I'm happy right now that my main avi site isn't Terrasus. Shit just went down there x____X;;

Anyways. ....Wait until later, Suze.

Arsis_von_Neaera 01-25-2012 11:56 PM

I only said it cause it sounded awesome. I would suggest waiting till tomorrow; though I don't doubt your abilities to pull something together, I'd rather you be at your best for it.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-25-2012 11:59 PM

Well, it's more a matter that I need to read back through, come up with some ideas on how to progress forward, get back into all the characters' personalities, etc. If it was just a normal post, I could do it tonight. I can probably have it up before I leave for school tomorrow.

If anyone thinks they can add anything to what's going on before I get around to posting, feel free, though.

Arsis_von_Neaera 01-26-2012 12:09 AM

I don't think me running into town being chased by a flaming horde of undead seems rightly appropriate... yet.

Quiet Man Cometh 01-26-2012 01:09 AM

Trying hard to explain to mom why I'm laughing my head off right now.

Okay...Arsis, I say you can still decide what happens with Innon and Dara's aura thing. I imagine it just doens't affect him, but perhaps there being an angelic bent to the aura might make him feel itchy or something, depending on what his meandering through the cosmos resulted in. Maybe he feels nothing at all about her, as though she were a completely normal, living person. Dunno, but I'm flexible. :)

So how do we find the one dead guy among the throng of crucified undead?

Arsis_von_Neaera 01-26-2012 01:27 AM

Pick the obnoxious one complaining about his plight? >>Edit: complaining about his plight to every living passerby.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-26-2012 01:29 AM

I could have Kas come stalking out of the APC, walk right past the group after sensing Innon, have Mithaias storm after him in a panic, and then the fireworks can fly!

...except Kasdeja is such a DMPC I hate using him for things like that.

Quiet Man Cometh 01-26-2012 02:05 AM

Aren't there a few hundred of these crosses? Might take some searching to find the dead guy, unless piles of writing, agonized undead are particularly quiet. ;)

Arsis_von_Neaera 01-26-2012 02:18 AM

I'm unfamiliar with the term DMPC. Writhing, agonized piles of undead sound pleasant, though. I have a flame thrower that I'm quite excited about. It all depends upon what roll you guys want me to play. Innon will simply be thrilled to find individuals that don't want to nail him to crosses. I also don't think it necessarily common that zombies talk... is it?

Salone 01-26-2012 04:17 AM

I could eat him. Or at least, part of him. Na'lsa might go on a bloodcraze and just start ripping things from crosses. Or eventually just liquify them in to raw materials like a sludge of flesh and absorb it directly. Noticing the one that pulls back against his will over flesh would be...interesting to role play.

Espy 01-26-2012 04:19 AM

It think DMPC means Dungeon Master's Player Character....but I'm not sure. First time I've heard it, too.

...I usually just say NPC.

Arsis, Innon might want to watch out; Lev is capable of eating anything in his way, I think. (Hi, you lurking Salone. -cough-)

Espy 01-26-2012 04:19 AM

....Dante's laughing at me for being ninja'd by Salone >.>

Salone 01-26-2012 04:20 AM

He's eaten a few men. And other things. I have a full backstory worked up of how Na'lsa began from mere microbes and began to possess bacteria and fleas and various other organisms until he latched on to the sin of man and never stopped feeding.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-26-2012 10:22 AM

Sorry, DMPC is a DnD term. Different than an NPC. Stands for Dungeong Master Player Character, yes. But different from the way Shealtiel is who's actually part of the party and plays by the "rules". It's generally a negative term for an NPC who overshadows the PCs and is the game master's pet character, so to speak.

Hence me not liking to use Kasdeja that way.
