Oh. I don't really keep up with movies. Unless they put the previews on as youtube ads or it's a series I'm really interested in (Fantastic Beasts mainly), I generally don't even know what's new or being made.

I'm getting sidetracked from working on my monkey by improving a shirt or sweater for Derpy!

This is all improvised. Basically, I did the neckline in the round and am now working on the front as a flat panel, then will do the back in 2 flat panel sections (to allow for Derpy's wings), and then will sew it all up. And then possibly will make a couple little sleeves and sew those on too.

and yes, I did use the bernat blanket yarn for the scarf.... and it's quite soft and squishy :)

It was on my radar mostly because The Rock is in it; he upgraded from scorpion king to ape king

I LOVE the blanket yarn! I have a scarf started for a friend in the blue, black, grey, and red yarn cake of it, but it kind of is buried in my closet at the moment...

That shirt's sure going to look awesome. Can't wait to see Derpy wearing his new garment!

Scarf is nice too, seems super soft and warm.

Tbh I played the game as a kid so, in an odd twist, I'm really not interested in the movie. The whole fun of Rampage was being the giant monster and destroying with no regard for human life
