Even when I had the confidence, someone shattered it every time... I've run out of feel good thoughts of myself...

@ Ultima ;; Thanks... I appreciate that but, again, it's a cruel irony. I said before that only people over the net would think/say that... It just makes real life seem more and more impossible for me.

I've just realized. You look a lot like one of my besties, who I luffles a lot.

The more I think about what you say, the more I really want to organize a Trisphee family gathering somewhere in real life. And what's the different between over the internet and irl? I see none.

Misericorde 02-01-2011 05:08 AM

For some reason I look like a lot of people... Heh.

Online has the convenience of knowing that even if you say it, you don't have to mean it, because the person will never know. You can tell someone "I think you're beautiful, I'd love to date you" when they're confidence is down to make them happy, but that's easy to do when you don't have to face the fact that it's possible. If you're millions of miles away, it's not, so there's no worries. I don't mean to say that Ultima doesn't mean it, it's just the fact that I've been in the situation before where people have said that to me and don't do anything about it because it's not something they'd actually do.

-prances in- Mis is beautiful. -nods an walks out- <3

Chi 02-01-2011 05:11 AM

I met my boyfriend playing the MMORPG MapleStory.
The only people to ever think I'm attractive are online people.
And you know what, people online are a lot more real than people in real life.
It's true honestly.

Hey, that's a good thing, right? Riiiiiiight? Cuz that means if people don't think they're ugly, they're not bound to think you're ugly anytime soon :D

Augh. Me and my slightly screwy logic. I think I should go to bed.

...Correction. Because my monitor doesn't look like a flat screen anymore, and seems to be losing its color, I think I should go to sleep. Panda eyes.

Because we're all sure that we'll never meet whoever is on the other side, and hence aren't afraid to express ourselves and speak the truth.

-Curls up in a corner.- Maybe... Doesn't make me feel any better though...

There's you a place Mis. I liked it today myself.
I think you are a very beautiful person inside and out. An there are people out there that can help you feel better of yourself too. We are everywhere. An you already know I met my Chris online in gaia. xD

Chi 02-01-2011 05:21 AM

You can change my opinion, I'm being as real as real can be.
I have nothing to gain from lying to any of you.

I know, but I just don't think I'll find that for myself. Look at Jay...

Ultima 02-01-2011 05:22 AM

I've heard it said that everyone is more beautiful in person than in a picture. If we all think that a picture of you is beautiful, then there must be someone that will think you are beautiful when they see the real you.

This too ^

I did say something about my not being able to make people cheer up.

Arrrrgh. I'm useless when it comes to these things /shotshotshot

But I can tell you one thing before my brain completely shuts down and I have to sleep. Honestly, when I saw the two pics that you posted, I smiled, not in derision, but in wishing that I could meet you in real life. I'm completely honest. I know a lot of people who would.

And we all have our own problems; don't let them eat you up. You're not the only person whose life, or at least a part of it, has been a shithole at some point in time.

View your life from a different perspective. You still have many, many more years to go, if you don't hurt yourself now. What can you do with all these years? A lot. And by accomplishing a lot, you'll be able to make people see that you are, in fact, worth befriending, that looks aren't everything, that no one is doomed to be a failure.

I am, in fact, crying as I type this, but don't let that bother you; one of my faults in beings overly emotional. I have to learn to deal with it and continue on. I'm only seventeen; I've got many things to do before I die, and I don't want to die without accomplishing them.

Yommy 02-01-2011 05:25 AM

Well Jay just needs a push. I push Chris a lot when he is not in a talkative mood.
