Alatariel 01-04-2017 10:12 PM

Oops. More food comas.

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 10:22 PM

I don't like cats, but what cute kitties.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:25 PM

but caaaaats!

Tiva 01-04-2017 10:27 PM

Cats are awesome… but I think all fluffy things are awesome in my opinion

Alatariel 01-04-2017 10:27 PM

I love cats.. but I am sadly allergic ouo

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 10:28 PM

I was being mean to a cat that was in my back yard yelling at it, trying to scare it away and it just turned around, looked pitifully at me and went: meeeeeow

I felt like such a shit, I always cried, so I've never been mean to a cat again, I hard bird feeders and they want to kill my birds :( but...that's the circle of life, right?

Tiva 01-04-2017 10:30 PM

Feed them and then they will eat the food and leave your birds alone.

That is what my grandmother does. She has bowls on the porch for the feral cats so they leave her birds alone.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:31 PM

poor little guy

to the fur or the dander?

Alatariel 01-04-2017 10:31 PM

My sister swears I put a kitten in her hamster's cage once. I have no knowledge of doing this.. /:

trystan830 01-04-2017 10:34 PM

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:40 PM

Yeah, I've heard of these presents presented. My friend's cat brought in a live mouse! He has 2 other cats so once the mouse got free, he started running around the house, as did the three cats! haha
so funny.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:47 PM

yeah XD the cutest way to be told you suck, hahahaha

golly, did they catch the mouse?

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 10:48 PM

oh yeah, they caught the mouse alright.
My friend was so freaked out, he always had a cow he was so upset.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:49 PM

X''D welp, that is the price for living with carnivores i suppose

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 10:54 PM

it wasn't pretty either.
He has 3 torties, and they are one of the meanest cat breeds.
One of his cats bit me :( and it bit his ex-wife so badly, she had to go to the ER because of the infection. Bit her on the top of her hand.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 10:59 PM

i am of the sort who feels that a mean animal is not the fault of the animal but the one who raised it. teach someone to be a jerk and they will be a jerk, you know?

trystan830 01-04-2017 11:00 PM

we had a tortie, but she was the sweetest little fluffball!

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 11:02 PM

You guys might be right. I don't know much about cats or how to train them (can you train a cat?) but yeah his wife was pissed because she feels he did not train them properly.

trystan830 01-04-2017 11:03 PM

you don't train cats - they train their humans XD

were the cat and hamster ok?

Yeah they were both fine. I still don't remember doing it

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:09 PM

you train them like you would a dog or a child. be firm, fair, dont flipflop and dont abuse!

my cat fetches, cuddles, kisses, comes and leaves on command XD though to be fair he also follows, steals pillows and kisses without consent too(the last is for treats, how many times he's forced a kiss for a treat, haha)

well, you were pretty young and not all memories are priority XD

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 11:12 PM

I don't know why, because i love all animals, but cats seem to be such a mystery to me. I have had 2 dogs and I am so comfortable with them, cats? I have never felt comfortable with. The good thing about cats is you can leave them alone. Dogs can't be left alone too long really, and you can't go onvacation and set food out. with cats you can do that.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:14 PM

.________. why would you do that to a cat? mine throws a fit if he is left alone for more than 3 hours and gets twisted if you dare do more than 5

trystan830 01-04-2017 11:14 PM

i did train one of my cats to 'shake'... and i used treats for that. but mostly, our cats are the ones that have us trained very well!

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:19 PM

well at least you have one? XD personally teaching an animal of any sort to come on command is super important and if they learn even one thing that should be it

I know people that go on vacation and leave their cats alone for a weekend or so. I was just saying what people do, when I had a dog she would go to doggy day care.

trystan830 01-04-2017 11:20 PM

our cats come on the 'cat-food-can-being-opened' command! XD

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:21 PM

-shakes head- did you call anyone to rescue the cat/s? that is cruel

Moonshadow 01-04-2017 11:24 PM

trystan that is an amazing trick :P hahaha
how long did it take you to train them to do that, so cute.

cho: no I didn't even know until after. But they would be okay once they returned. There were two cats and they just enjoyed each other's company I guess. I would never leave MY pet alone like that ever.

trystan830 01-04-2017 11:26 PM

well, it was the cat i had when i was growing up, so i don't really know how long it actually took. and it was cute... from what i remember, anyway

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:26 PM

if you did the same to a small child they would be alright too, does not mean it is ok

i am glad you wouldn't. it is pretty horrifying what people consider 'ok' behavior to have around pets, i suppose it is why animal cruelty is so rampant

Glitch 01-04-2017 11:31 PM

my first cat had things she would do that suggested training . . .although I never trained her about anything and really . . it was more her acting in ways that she expected us to be trained in.

She'd always come running when she heard popcorn in the microwave and would take pieces. Every morning she would sit at my elbow, stare at me and slow meow until I woke up -- at which point she would go to the door and wait for me to open it for her. When she was hungry she knew I wasn't very likely to get up and feed her right away so she would go find my mom and sit next to her and meow until my mom got annoyed and went and fed her. One time my mom walked back and forth in front of my door with my cat happily chasing her for food time. And every night she would curl up on my pillow and lick my hair because apparently, I didn't keep it clean enough for her.

littl3chocobo 01-04-2017 11:33 PM

so someone raised her with expectations or was she just so bored of life she made a project of taming you? XD
