Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-05-2013 12:16 PM

Of course I'll share :D

Lucid: 02-05-2013 01:08 PM

Excellent! **swipes it all and runs away**

Alpha 02-05-2013 01:12 PM

Ummm....okay..*pulls arm back covered in Kami drool* Well, at least it's only on the hazmat suit. *sheds suit*

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-05-2013 01:59 PM

Noooo! My despair smoothie! ;0;

*slobbers on Alpha*

Alpha 02-05-2013 02:11 PM

*magicks it away and onto Lucid* There ya go! Follow the slobber!

Lucid: 02-05-2013 02:17 PM

How dare you, Alpha! :s-yell: **dumps Kami-nip all over Alpha**

Alpha 02-05-2013 02:23 PM

Yahh! *runs after Lucid and covers in chin-chin pheremones* Heh heh.....how dare I? This is how I dare! *laughs evily then runs away from.....surprisingly fast considering the heels*

Espy 02-05-2013 02:31 PM

-walks in-

-stares-

...-walks out-

Alpha 02-05-2013 02:36 PM

*runs after Espy and drags back in* Stay here....join us.....join us....join us....*random chanting sounds out from nowhere*

Lucid: 02-05-2013 02:45 PM

Espyyyyyyy why don't you want to play wif meeeee? D:

Espy 02-05-2013 03:04 PM

Because I'm busy eating, was on a call, need to do homework, and need to shower/prepare for a job fair later.

...Not that I really want to go. But I should probably check things out while I'm NOT in a hurry to get a job, rather than actually have to focus on jobs and internships later and in the meanwhile worry about the proper etiquette at fairs....

Alpha 02-05-2013 03:05 PM

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go check it out. Hey, at the very least, networking opportunity!

I know the feeling Espy.

Espy 02-05-2013 03:06 PM

But schtuff like that makes me nervous. And my resume's kind of...bleh.

Alpha 02-05-2013 03:07 PM

Eh, just have to represent yourself well. My resume isn't that impressive either, but all it takes is one big thing to "sell you" or otherwise catch their attention.

Espy 02-05-2013 03:12 PM

I don't have anything big. I haven't done anything big.

Alpha 02-05-2013 03:15 PM

Then highlight any form of award or achievement (especially academic if you have none otherwise), or any form of extracurricular as well. Basically, just sell yourself! Make it seem that you you would benefit them.

Lucid: 02-05-2013 03:34 PM

Even impressive projects you do for class can be good resume material. I had a class where we sold the world's longest doughnut for charity. The assignment was basically to manage the logistics of the event and create enough awareness to sell the whole thing - about 1,280 feet of doughnut! I put that on my resume because it sounds impressive and unique to have the phrase "World's Longest Doughnut" on there. I don't even mention it was for a class. Freshman lecture classes probably won't have those kinds of cool opportunities, but by the time you are ready to be looking for internships and jobs, I'm sure you'll have been able to get your hands on some fun projects.

Alpha 02-05-2013 03:41 PM

All it takes is that unique thing to "hook" them and at least garner their interest enough to interview you.

Ashy 02-05-2013 04:41 PM

world's longest doughnut? o_O

Lucid: 02-05-2013 05:04 PM

Yes.

News article! We were covered in news articles across the country. Most were just lifted straight from this one though.

Video! These guys were all in my class and on the advertising team with me. It stops being about the doughnut at like 3 minutes.

Alpha 02-05-2013 10:45 PM

Hm, nice. Looks like it was an interesting project.

Lucid: 02-05-2013 11:52 PM

It was pretty cool once we got it all done, but like the guy in the video said, we barely managed to get it done in time. We had way too much red tape to work through in order to get anything done at all.

Illusion 02-10-2013 03:57 PM

So uh.. How has Fen been doing?
I haven't heard much from her in quite a while...

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-10-2013 04:07 PM

I think the fish scared her off lol.

Lucid: 02-11-2013 12:49 AM

Kami, why would you scare off poor Fenfen like that? ;A;

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 12:54 AM

O______O

Well I suppose I've been melting more frequently nowadays. I just look too dangerous.

Lucid: 02-11-2013 12:55 AM

You're right, you are too dangerous! **swats Kami into a cage**

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 12:56 AM

*explodes. bits mostly make it into the cage*

Daigotsu 02-11-2013 05:28 PM

*collects Kami bits in jars*

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 05:50 PM

Nuurrr...but I don't like the jars ;0;

Daigotsu 02-11-2013 06:43 PM

...*collects them in tiny boxes?*

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 06:45 PM

Kami can be free? :'D

Lucid: 02-11-2013 06:48 PM

Kami is not allowed to be free.
Kami costs 4 easy payments of $19.95!

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 06:49 PM

Dayum....I'm expensive! D:

Lucid: 02-11-2013 06:50 PM

But the payments! They're so reasonable!

Echo-chan713 02-11-2013 07:25 PM

how often is the payments. monthly? bi-weekly? don't forget S&H, and taxes

Nexess 02-11-2013 10:11 PM

:I I get Kami for free though right?

Alpha 02-11-2013 10:20 PM

What about me? Kami has already done baby dragons....

Kamikaze Chinchilla 02-11-2013 10:21 PM

Those were for Tiva, not Alpha D:

Edit: None of you guys are getting anything for free. You may offer your toes instead of money owo

Daigotsu 02-11-2013 11:38 PM

I offer 3 toes. C:
