I was wondering...does cheesecake normally have egg in it?

I can't remember if it does or not...

It sure does. This one from the Cheesecake Factory uses 5 eggs.

I've been meaning to make The Cheesecake Factory's Pumpkin Cheesecake, but I haven't gotten around to it yet...

And the one I made yesterday came out of a box and all I added was butter and cream cheese.

I've never made cheesecake before. Is the box kind good?

Fulkth 04-28-2016 07:31 PM

Yep. It's pretty tasty. My husband was eating it before it was fully refrigerated for 2 hours.

ZenKitty 04-28-2016 07:42 PM

LOL That sounds like a hubby thing to do. ;-)

Tomorrow, I might be able to duck off to Omaha to get quail eggs. I have to see what things look like, weather-wise. This week's been overcast and rainy since Wednesday, when we had severe storms.

ZenKitty 05-01-2016 11:05 PM

I'm still looking for a place around here that sells quail eggs. Of course, if I ever did find them, I'd be asking all of you for recipes. ;-)

I don't know if I said this already, but a nice super cheesy omelet is also awesome.

ZenKitty 05-02-2016 12:05 AM

Has anyone had mini quiches before? Those are really tasty too. :D

SparX 05-02-2016 10:45 AM

I've always wanted to make one but never have Dx

ZenKitty 05-02-2016 10:48 AM

I've never made mini quiches either, but I'm thinking they would be really easy. Spray oil into mini muffin tins. Whip up eggs with whatever you want in them. Pour the batter into tins and bake until puffy. =)

SparX 05-02-2016 10:57 AM

I love mini muffin tins XD
I've made huge (small) reeses out of them before XD
I would want to make sure to have bacon or green pepper in them too for the quiches
