yeah, that sounds about right

Have modified my reading list slightly. Have also given up on the book I was attempting to muddle through. I read enough to give many reasons why the book is not something I'd recommend we sell in the gift shop at this time and have no intention of continuing to force myself through that unedited nightmare.

On a positive note: have done a fair amount of reading today in addition to other things. (Other things being mainly just painting scales with multichrome polish for eventually making a pair of short scale fingerless gloves with them.)

yeah, sometimes that's that best thing - put the book out of its misery XD

i'm reading a parenting book, even though my youngest is 19! XD i'm hoping it'll be a good resource in the future - it's called Raising Them, and it's one mom and dad's venture into gender creative parenting. :)

In other news, I just spent $14 on a $10 skein of yarn because it's almost impossible to find except on the Joann website and I didn't feel like spending $50 just to get free shipping. Would have cost more, but I had a coupon for the item.

Red heart Hygge yarn (in the color Ink). It's for a custom cat plushie. I needed a grey (which I picked up on Amazon) and I think I have probably 1/4 to 1/2 a skein of white in my stash, but we have that color at the Joann I work at if I need another (I mainly just need it for little paw sockies), but black is just...nonexistent. xP

I've actually started making a sort of daily "to do" list in my planner instead of doing my schedule in it since my schedule is always the same anyway, so hopefully that helps me manage my time better.

I need to get better at it. I'm too good at just vegging out on my bed and doing nothing for 4 hours, then whining about how I have no time to make things....

Lol. It's just because I keep putting "make/finish 1-2 masks" (I have one nearly done and pieces for another that just need assembled) but masks are boring so I don't want to make anymore.
