:O THANKS! That's one of the few things that I didn't have on my to-do list. Certainly I would have looked at them eventually, but because of those darn alterations it's probably something that has to come sooner than later.

Definitely should come sooner, if for no other reason so you get a better idea of what you want and what kind of alterations need to be made once you get the dress.

Makes sense. I've taken a friend dress shopping before so I know the different styles, but I do have to figure out what looks good on me.

Well, it is all a matter of what you like. Make sure you will be comfortable with how you look in it.

I'm short (5'2.5"), just barely scraping into a B-cup, and....well, here's a picture of me being goofy. XD

Also I know I want something with at least short sleeves or a shrug to cover my shoulders. I don't like strapless or spaghetti strap type things.

No Empire dresses because it would make you look shorter and cut off.
Classic princess or fit and flare aka a drop waist mermaid would look good on you.

Really? I had ruled out mermaid before because I'm short, and I thought it would make me look shorter.

I am 5'2" and wore a mermaid for prom. Do a drop waist mermaid, meaning the body is fitted all the way down to mid thigh. A mermaid that starts up high will make you look shorter.

Also, with your short hair Lucid, you could do small cap sleeves and it would look really good...
