I really like the feathered folk and woodsman items.

The event items are very nice and I am working on getting a bunch of them.

I still need about seventy-five more each of the shards and souls.

They didn't necessarily have wings, and I am not even sure if they carried swords...

Also after carrying the dead to Valhalla they would party with them, I am pretty sure they didn't wear pants

Yeah they choose worthy fallen warriors to lead to valhalla, where they trained for Ragnarok

You know...
Valkyries was angels of death, they came to get fallen warriors (who had fallen honorable of course) then they partied with the fallen warriors in Valhalla when the warriors was not out fighting they had this big buffet of Mjoed and whatever other nice stuff there was to eat and drink.

Yes they were to fight for Odin in Ragnarok but elsewise it was really just one big hack and slash (and get drunk) party.

Valkyries was described as extremely beautiful, and they were not very dressed apart from a little armor.
Also NO WAY IN LIFE was women dressed in pants, that would be pretty outrageous...


And I don't remember ever being told they were chastised (and I have had about Norse mythology all the way up through school)

Well I just get a bit edgy whenever people start talking about Norse mythology since I got it forced down my throat for years.....

Taishi: good, because there really isn't all that much too them, and chastity wasn't something that was cared much about.

I know there's tons of books on the subject all telling different stuff..... but since all we have left is Runes and a few pictures... it's not because we have all this information on them (so I wonder where it's coming from)
