I don't believe we're going to have time for that... He picks up a slab of shattered earth. This world doesn't have much time left if something doesn't change, and fast. Ascellus guide us.

Taishi stood quickly but fell down again "To fast" she laughed a little she wasn't stable not hovering like she normally did but that could be easily taken care of sitting in a cloud of light for a few hours "Why did the war begin Dacorum?" her voice sounding innocent, she trully didn't know and it showed in her dull but gentle eyes

Only Ascellus and Braen know the full scope of the reason... it is their war, and the worlds have been dragged into it. What I do know, though, is that it seems to be a power grab by the Dark God -- an attempt to throw the world into chaos under his rule. The feud between the gods is a long and dark story, a war stretching back for centuries.

(I'm going to have to come back later to tell the full story. I can't find the stuff that was written up explaining the history, which would be something that most mortals from this world would know as a legend.)

Taishi brought her hand to her face placing one finger to her lips "reminds me of Chrystel and Barthenz... they are the goddess of magic and the god of warriors." she began thinking on her races history "they feud over what is more important to my race and will do anything in their power to see the other one waste into nothing... they never realize how it effects the people who die for them" she say laying back on the grass once more looking to the clouds "my race is unique, we have five forms half a dozen ways of speaking such as how a child would say something to a parent and how a parent would say the same thing to another adult" she say gently, she forgot through there bond he could pick up whatever information he wanted bar the secrets in the crystal book she normally read from "We have three suns, four rea...." she trailed off as it dawned on her that if he wanted to know he would just look for it through their bond or ask her "Are you angry at what I've done Dacorum?" she asked, it was to late now to reverse it but she wanted to know what he thought of the situation, she didn't even know how she took to him just calling him by his name and not by a title also. He would find out through their bond her name wasn't Taishi but Umarii

Angry, no... Concerned, perhaps; it may have been a bit rash, not fully thought through. But you acted selflessly and decisively.

Taishi smiled "No reason to be concerned and what was there to think about, if you remained like that you would have died, our immune systems working together seem to be killing off this poison" she yawned slightly sitting up once more she slipped her hand into his her eyes closing "I was raised to protect that which is important to me Dacorum, so to me what I done was not rash but my nature" she say gently "I respect you and care for you... I couldn't bare to see you like that let alone think about your death" she say quietly lowering her head almost like she was ashamed to speak of it, she was infact scared of what he thought about it, but she was forbidden to lie and she naturally spoke her mind

Espy had turned away in annoyance as Taishi patched up Dacorum, and now hastily stuffed her message in her sash as she noticed something out of the corner of her eyes. The other two had been too busy trying to heal wounds that they hadn't noticed a group of stragglers making a run towards the edge of the camp.

The last few of the Corrupt soldiers?

Espy ran forward to intercept and threw a small but heavy dagger into the chest of the foremost soldier, then disappeared momentarily and seemingly materialized behind another. She shoved the katar into the back of his throat and grabbed his collar. In one swift movement, she threw the soldier careening into a third man and brought the blade slashing across the throat of the fourth and last.

Making her way behind the last survivor, she kicked him and then held three fingers to his nose and mouth, effectively choking him unconscious.

(Ok, I found it slightly awkward that no one mentioned the bodies lying around or the soldiers that Trey left o.O And that last move that Espy made is actually possible...there's a really long story behind that, haha...)

Taishi moved her eyes to where she heard the muffed crys of some men and seen Espy killing them "Thank you Miss espy... oh i found out what a deathless is and how dangerous they are" she said remembering the deathless crystal that had been left for her a few days back

Espy wiped her blade on the grass and stuffed the traitorous document into a deep pocket.

"A...deathless? Is that a ghost or something?" Espy growled, even more annoyed now. She'd completely missed her chance.

Taishi shook her head slightly "They are still living in a sence... they have been touched by death but something has happened so death hasn't been able to claim them" she say remaining where she was "It seems your brother knows one... and that might not be a good thing" she continued

(Hoooolyyyy friiiiiick. I totally missed Kyren and Silvary's battle. And Taishi, you've practically made Storm into a deathless himself XD)

"Storm..." Espy brightened up slightly, sensing an opportune moment to send the message. "I'll write to him, and ask him about that," she muttered, keeping one hand safely near the letter.

Azeil slowly approached the camp, although he kept his distance. He'd been missing a few days... He was unsure of whether or not information of his betrayal had managed to get back to camp or not. The ones following him had never returned, and it was surely suspicious. Nonetheless, he wondered if it was safe for him to return. Not that he was particularly fearful of his other captains, or even the General. It was the Goddess he was more concerned over.

(Azzy, stop making Espy squee rainbows. It hurts.)

Espy caught a whiff of the scent of Corruption which would, if it had been a little less, very well wafting up from her myriad potions. But this was different and stronger. She looked around and saw nothing.

Taishi looked to her and nodded "I only have basic information, such as they do not like daylight and in the shadows make them stronger" she say, though she looked down "They are bound by oaths they take Miss Espy... They have people they call life owners, from what I gather these are the people that own there contract so to speak" she say, she looked to espy's face wondering how she took to this information

Shadows? Azeil's attention was caught, and he sort of drifted closer to the conversation. He recognized the fox, one of the few... Divine that he was fairly fond of. And interesting being, he figured. He watched this... other being, though, curious of what was being spoken of. Creatures made stronger by the shadows? His brows furrowed slightly.

Espy paled slightly, although it was barely visible, considering how much of her face could actually be seen. Life owners....I have no intention for him to be "owned" by Cronis! ...Perhaps my letter can settle a few things? She cast around for a way to deliver it without seeming suspicious.

(Taishi, you're practically forcing Chasm into a fight with Espy. Which is, IMO, a nice thing, haha. Let's see if we can get this whole sibling storyline done in the next three days.)

Taishi shook her head quickly "A life owner is the one that stops the death" she say forcing herself onto her feet just to fall down again 'damn it i used to much' she thought to herself sighing "It means if he is at the point of going to be killed and someone stops it, he could potentually become deathless if there is one around and the rites of passage done" she say yawning a little "if you want to send him a message, record it on that deathless crystal fling it into the shadows and a wraith or something will take it to the one it's ment for" she say gently, she knew more about this race than what she was letting on and it was showing

(Taiki asked me like, fifteen mins ago is how he remembered. XD The real question is how the hell Coda seems EVERYWHERE)

Espy chuckled nervously. "Can a wraith just...er...take this note to him?" she asked, waving around the folded bit of parchment.

(He's the OMNIPOTENT CODER. Waaaaaait. That means Espy's brain will be screwed over if she does try to kill Dacorum.)

Taishi listened to what espy said and nodded "One moment" she say with tired smile her hair turned void black, her eyes followed suit her skin taking a slightly paler tone her eyes went to the shadows, she could now shee the shadow captain but pretended otherwise "Darii'yu" she said watching as a wraith came towards her "She was a guardian of mine when I was younger" she say to espy "A deathless tried to do the rites but she failed and is now a wraith bound to me" she would say showing what happens to those who fail the rites or if the rites are not done properly "Darii'yu... Miss Espy has a letter she wants you to deliver to her brother. Please deliver it" she say closing her eyes her hair turning a pale lavender once more. The wraith called Darii'yu hovered over to Espy and held out it's hand "just think of where you want it and she will take it to the one you thought of" she said yawning once more

(-resists the urge to facepalm and in the process perhaps rubbing dust and shiz on her glasses. Again. Darned person who left behind a greasy desk after he spilled his lunch.)

Espy gazed at the wraith for a brief moment before handing over the letter, hoping the creature wouldn't read what was written there.

"Thank you," she muttered, slightly curious about Taishi's glance in a different direction.

(But Espy wouldn't know about that, and I don't think I'm allowed to mess with the storyline. Dacorum would probably send Espy flying anyways, what with her being just a bit over my own height (5 ft))
