After a long day of battle against the tyrant queen and her followers, Ginger decided to disappear from the scene for a meal before resting. Closing the door of her room behind her, she stopped, but only for a moment to embrace the sound of silence. Her legs ached and her back felt stiff. Her arm was wounded by an arrow in battle, but her tired eyes gave in before she could take care of it and she collapsed on her bed. She let out a deep sigh and drifted into a deep sleep.

-wanders trough, deep in thought-

*is playing cards by myself waiting*
I don't know how to play cards, or else I would play with you. xD
And you sure you wouldn't cheat? xD |
*working on breakfast*

Demo sleepily pushes back the canvas opening to his room and let out a yawn. In his one hand is a peculiar drink which he sips on occasionally. "Good morning comrades."
<< i want to post but i only have a few minutes
((Its fine coco but thanks for visiting : ) ))
Demo proceeds to finish the drink and begins to redress and heal the current patients' wounds. |

Good morning Demo. You missed Asche and Asura. |
Hope not many injured ones have been brought in today.
"What did they have to say Dragoness?" Demo returns with blood splatters on his armor.
Espy looked up. "Are you alright?" she asked, not looking at Demo but smelling the blood.
Sadrain opened and closed her mouth, as Espy had voiced her question first.
Demo laughed a hearty laugh and laid down his sword. "i am insulted that you would not know it is the blood of our enemies." Demo gave a cocky smile.
Dem came into the tent and wrinkled her nose a little. "Yech, it stinks of loyalist in here." she then notices Demo, covered in splatters of blood. "Oh, it's you."
"Well, considering your little armor that cannot be doing much to protect you..." Sadrain shook her head slightly.
Bringing in the daily supply, folks~ *carries in a large barrel* That's the fruit. I had a special visitor today, so I thought I would bring you all a barrel of pomegranates, fresh from my own farms. Sooo many trees XD
There's a wagon full of food and water outside. The wagon and mules are ALSO a gift. I'll be walking back to the bar now, it's only a few yards off anyway~ Have a good day folks ^_^ |
Shadow Mask whom was passing the tent at that moment, quirked eyebrow. "A farm there, a bar here... is there something this man doesn't apparently have?"
Seeing shadow, he turns to greet her. Hey there! Wait up, how have you been? *holding up another crate to carry in* Lookin for some food? I've got plenty XD
*eyes widen excitedly* Thank you for these gifts! I have not had pomegranates in... in...I don't last remember.
*begins to help carry the supplies in* It's quite sad that I am eating better foods in the heat of battle than I did under the 'freedom' of the foul Queen's rule. At a price, of course but... *grins softly and takes out a fruit and bites it* Mmmm...heavenly. |
Glad you are enjoying them. It's a joy to get to see someone enjoy my gifts...
*comes in tent severely injured* Help~
Her brow furrowed, although it was not behind the mask she seemed to never take off. With sharp gesture, she motioned to her bloodied clothes. "I am doing like any soldier. I am on my way to clean up, so, if you don't mind." The girl turned to leave again. Something in man's (whose name she still did not know) cheerful, "I-don't-have-a-care-in-world-eve-now" attitude ticked her off.
Hermes frowned, sad for the girl. 'There just seems to be no joy in her...' He thought to himself, 'Or maybe I'm just too upbeat?'
No, not at all...Good luck out there, I guess. He carried the box into the tent, and began to see to Echo. I'm no magician, but I can stitch a wound like any doctor. |
"Oh thank you kind sir" Echo responded with the kind tone even in injured; leaving her weapon at the front of the tent. The man with the kit came over and guided her to an available bed and guided her to a sit on the edge of the bed.
"Is there anything I can do to help the aide?" |
((Anyone thought that we need resting quarters/inn of some sorts or whatever in rebel camp? xD I am sure uninjured need to rest and wash, too))
((Normally, I would open one, but then you might just think me a show off XD And I am sooo not washing you lolol ))
Echo - Just rest. A dead soldier is no good to the cause, aye? And a badly injured soldier is a dead soldier, make no mistake. Rest, heal up, and then you can help by being healthy and ready to fight~ |
((I would never even think of asking such busy man to help me, especially if my own two hands and arms function very well still. But what would you care what I think, anyways?))
While the kind sir as bandaging Echo up, she's thinking how and where is her twin brother at, is he well, injured with no help, or the worst.....dead. The thought of her brother dead sent chills and heartbreak upon her. She observes the refuge and sees some of the rebels in injury, sleeping, and helping out other rebels. Some of the injuries look worse than others; at least she didn't get the worst of injuries, get shot by arrows and sliced is nothing compare to the bomb spells.
The cot is more comfortable than on the ground sleeping with one eye open. |
((Ah, I merely make joke. Anyway, the inn yopu speak of would be much better off in the hands of such a caring, gentle, hostess as yourself, aye? ))
((-thinks that after few days she would probably chop the people, not serve them- ;;>.> ... It would, but that simply is not my calling. -haughty expression-))
((Oh, sure it is. A fine arm for a blade to cut food, strength to carry baggage, weapons, armor, other assorted items. Stealth to go around at night without waking her patrons. Finesse, to properly clean a room and make a bed. Oh, I think you'd be just perfect XD ))
((I thought you out of all people would think of the heart's calling, and mine certainly is not inn keeping from early age. I enjoy peace and quiet, but apparently here it is just impossible to be had. I am sure you would fine a much better suiting lady for the role. Maybe your wife? A wonderful expansion to your properties you could also keep an eye on, since you seem so excited about it. And you did not answer my question.))
((About caring what you think? But of course I do. Would I let it affect me? Most likely not XD And...my thoughts are, if I distract myself too much, then I will only be half-assing at the work I do, instead of going all in in my current duties. I don't want to slack anywhere by overdoing things. Excess is bad for you~))
((You are slacking right now, though, by doing nothing at all, besides trying to sound witty and impressing. But I will take that heavy duty off of your shoulders as I leave. -disappears-))
((Heh, whatever you think. I got you int oa conversation, didn't I? Let you vent a little bit on me? I'd say that's good kindness shown any day. My bar is empty, I've just delivered supplies to more than one tent....I believe I'm quite fulfilling my duties. Meanwhile, you stand here chiding a serviceman for serving. May want to choose your battles more wisely, friend.))
The comment of our assured man was lost to the history as the person he had said them to had already disappeared.
Echo grew tired of sitting up on the bed observing the wounded and the healed rebels, it's a great opportunity to sleep properly and peacefully, protected by the brainwashed troops that wants to be dictated by the queen.
Spirit walked through the camp. The dead and the dying seemed to be more at rest than the living and wounded. These people aren't comfortable here, she thought. She knew in the back of her mind that it was all for the better...but was it?
Demo walked in dirt and grim covering himself along with a few dried slashes. He laid his blade down with a clang. It's once shiny blade now crusted with dried blood. "It seems a day of batteling has brought us no closer to our goal at hand..."
