It helps to limit spending, and keeps it so there isn't "fast made" foods available for unnecessary snacking

when the younger daughter says 'there's no food in the house' what she really means is 'there's nothing in the kitchen that i can just take out of the package and eat' LOL. she's also my picky eater.

cards. we have one main one, and one back-up (which has never been used) but hubby has two back-ups. those are on him, i don't even have a card for the account. he'll use one of those for his go-karting. and the funny thing about all this is from time to time, he'll tell me to be careful about not putting too much on the card -- when it's really him that puts the extra stuff on his card. *sigh* over the summer we got a home equity loan that consolidated a good bit of our payments and at a lower rate, but he's still not taking his advice to not put too much on the card. *sigh*

We have a debit card we only use for very specific things (aka netflix, cr and funi) and no cards

I had to figure out how to get my husband to stop snacking and if doing so somewhat healthy and with some effort.
He grew up with microwavables while I grew up breaking microwaves and cooking by stoves or ovens instead XD

oh right, netflix is on our card too.

and we started out having it for one screen, and then one day hubby had had enough of me and out daughters all talking and stuff while a show is on (netflix), he just gets up, goes into our home office, pulls up his show on netflix on the computer... and now we add a second screen to our account.

he's the kind of guy that has to learn from his mistakes... after he realises they actually are mistakes in the first place.

I'm not sure what we have, but I know we can watch it in different rooms, but have it installed on 6 of our devices
I would rather pay the 40 a month for all our entertainment stuff (including live)
then pay for cable ever again

we have the option where we can watch it on two screens at the same time, and when that happens, it's usually the flat-screen tv and the computer monitor.

We get bored quite often out and about XD

He's owned multiple porsches, and owned 14 "double homes" he referred to it as, I know them as duplexes. Made "pocket change" in amounts of 50k-180k in online poker games, regularly buys silver and sells it every 5-6 years?
He talks about suffering when he had to sell one of his porsches for some extra cash >.> Feels bad if he doesn't have at least 2k in his pocket at all times
I've never even saved up 2k in my bank account XD
I'm hoping to learn some money making techniques from him overtime though >.> Since he happens to run into large lump sums quite often somehow .-.

Also, a lot of the times renting doesn't work out. You have to buy low, put some work into it and hope you get great renters otherwise they tear the house to shreds and you don't get paid.

I own my house, and I figured if I move somewhere, I'd rent it.

...But that would be lots of effort for not a lot of profit (mortgage). So I'd probably just sell it instead of trying to do that whole renting hullabaloo.

There's internet services via cell signal. It'd be near the coast only, but that's okay. :P

There's also satellite, but that's both slow and expensive.

Baby picture o-o

I was really disappointed at the appointment :( I had a fill in gal for the ultrasound and you could tell she had other things she wanted to be doing. They scheduled me for a 30 minute ultrasound and she only spent 7 minutes doing it so then I just sat in the ultrasound room for the next 20. Of course Winter was practicing her duck face expression when she snapped the picture as well. You can tell she has a strong chin though.

We're also going to be having the baby in 6 weeks unless she decides she wants to be born sooner than that.
