Perhaps find something more faded for the red smoke above you - it is honestly pilling my attention towards it.

6/10 -- you have layering issues. And yeah, scattered-ness. You can do the crazy inventor feel without the avatar actually being a mess, but I'm assuming you currently don't have enough items to do so.

The layering's a bit off because your shoes are over your pants. Not sure if that was on purpose. Also, you could do a bit of color distribution. Pull some of the blue in the wings into the avi itself. Have more bits of green besides just on the torso.

Commons tend to help with that a lot.
