Mmm, I love the sweet smell of generally bot-less days. >3<

Toho has lived the dream of millons of people

Alpha 02-19-2014 03:54 PM

At least somewhat...

Arikana 02-19-2014 05:23 PM

Well I'm definitely not one of those millions of people. :P Never really cared about working for Disney. Ever.

Tohopekaliga 02-19-2014 06:12 PM

Free disney admission is a nice perk of working there.

Both my parents work for Disney...my mom for longer than I've been alive. So, I'm used to getting into Disney world free. :P

That's cool. I was thinking more along the lines of animation, but ill take anything lol.

What do your parents do?

Coda 02-19-2014 08:59 PM

I have an annual pass at Disneyland. >.> I go every couple of weeks.

Ashy 02-19-2014 09:21 PM

I never knew what i wanted to do when i grew up, kinda boring.

Hey, I've killed a lot of the bots that get through D8
(I actually did the math the other day and I've banned 1/3 of all banned bots by myself >w>;)

Lucid: 02-19-2014 10:11 PM

When I was very young I wanted to be an astronaut!
In middle school/junior high I wanted to be a psychologist.
In high school I wanted to be a graphic designer.
My first class of my first semester of college, I realized that all my life what I've really wanted to do is work in advertising and I just was blind all those years.
And now that I have a job in advertising I'd rather just sit at home and relax every day. :d (Granted, entry-level youtube advertising is way different than advertising strategy/planning, which is where I want to end up.)

Lawtan 02-22-2014 10:00 PM

*Wanders in, losted*
...I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque.

Fauxreal 02-22-2014 10:02 PM

Law, was is a left... really?! ;)

So you're one of the people responsible for all them boring Youtube ads I have to sit through? :| Not cool, Lucid, not cool AT ALL. D:<

Lawtan 02-23-2014 08:39 PM

@Lucid - do you think you could slip in some deeper storylines, science fiction, and fantasy - may make the ads more tolerable/increase my chances of looking at them. XD

I dig this post.

Lucid: 02-23-2014 10:37 PM

Haha, guys, that's not actually what I do at all! (So shut your face Ari! :P )
I'm the person responsible for the actual youtuber endorsing products and telling you to check out the product through a link they conveniently put in the description box of the video. The pre-roll ads on youtube are done entirely through Google's AdSense.

Fauxreal 02-23-2014 11:06 PM

I still don't know what that means. But I have proof that I have brain damage... so - there is that. :D

Lawtan 02-23-2014 11:12 PM

:-(
*cuddles le Faux*

I think I understand - either the references/links in the description, or the little ad under and to the right of the YouTube video.

Arikana 02-23-2014 11:28 PM

Whatever. You know that I'm actually right, Lucid. :P

Lucid: 02-23-2014 11:52 PM

It's the references - here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDW6hgz1exU
This guy talks about the game and then tells you to click on the link in the description. The link takes you to the amazon page to buy the game.
Hear endorsement, click link, buy product! :)

Fauxreal 03-05-2014 08:35 PM

omg - Lucid - you look luscious!

Lucid: 03-09-2014 02:18 PM

Why thank you! :D I'm totally digging your bright colors.

Sei 03-09-2014 06:18 PM

Lucid has always made amazing avatars. I cannot believe the amount of layers she probably has on currently.

In similar news: I'm a pirate! Whoo! :3

Arikana 03-09-2014 06:47 PM

Oh. Em. Gee.

Sei changed his avatar? :o
(By changed I mean actually changed, not just add an item or two when something new comes out that he really wants to use. >_>)

Ultima 03-09-2014 07:16 PM

I wish I could pull off more than a couple colors in an outfit >3>; Mine are always one or two, SOMETIMES three if I'm feeling extra creative.

Sei 03-09-2014 09:57 PM

It honestly takes a lot for me to change my avatar. I'm very picky about my avatars. >.>;

It's amazing how much of this shade of brown is tied into green. I'm glad we're switching up color combinations now. *nods*

Ulti, I <3 your avatar! :3

Arikana 03-10-2014 06:58 PM

Yeah, I remember when item colour combinations were always the same. It irked me a lot but it did also help build up my common collection so not too many complaints there.

Lucid: 03-10-2014 08:44 PM

Pfff I don't even have a lot of layers on guys. It's only 18 top layers and 9 back layers, but 3 of the back layers are also top layers so it's really only 24 items total. Geeze.

Sei's new pirate avi looks fantastic! I want brown to be combo'd with every other color ever. Because <3 Natural Brown.

Ultima 03-10-2014 08:47 PM

... My hair and face items usually take up a large percentage of my layers.

I like layering :s-yell:

Arikana 03-10-2014 09:20 PM

Woah, I have more than Lucid? Say what? Twenty-seven front layers, three back layers, and twenty-nine items total.

Poggio 03-10-2014 09:37 PM

...>.> so for once I think I have less layers then every one. I have only 15 front layers and two back ones.

Lucid: 03-10-2014 10:11 PM

I'm actually not much of a heavy layer-er, surprisingly. I'm good at taking the pretty items and layering them juuuuust right to make them look like all the nice items had new baby lovechild items that take the best parts and smash them together.

Or something to that effect. Ha.

Ultima 03-10-2014 10:19 PM

Nope, I layer like CRAZY. Even if you can barely see it, if it makes a difference to me, it stays on ono

Poggio 03-10-2014 10:28 PM

ouo I layer small things and transparent things that usually add up to a lot of things.

Lol. Nice way of wording that. XD

Umaeril 03-11-2014 08:22 AM

I have 5 back layers and 24 front. Though I don't usually count them. A lot are just face items.

Ashy 03-11-2014 11:08 AM

I have 15 front layers and no back layers >.>

Tohopekaliga 03-11-2014 11:12 AM

I was curious, so I went and looked. 2 back layers and 17 front. Less than I thought it'd be, actually.

Gallagher 03-11-2014 03:31 PM

My current avi is super simple compared to my norm. 2 back layers and 32 front. 33 items altogether.
