I don't sing along but sometimes i repeatedly watch the bit with the song.

Den 12-20-2015 06:04 AM

I try not to do it with movies too much, unless it's something like when I watched 'Fiddler on the Roof' with my friends, where the host encouraged everyone who knew the songs to sing along. I live with someone who does it when it's not welcome, and as a result, I absolutely LOATHE "The Sound of Music". Entirely because my mom doesn't know when to put a sock in it.

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:52 AM

And she doesn't listen when you tell her that?

Potironette 12-20-2015 07:22 AM

I love singing along to movies! But always in a sort of quiet, embarrassed manner because I don't want to subjugate whoever's also watching to not being able to hear the actual thing xD. I hate it when the singer-alonger blocks the movie singer's voice--including when I accidentally do that myself!

Hrm, when it's not welcome? Ahh, I'm guessing that "the Sound of Music" has lots of songs and that means lots of singing along then... Does the one who sings, sing to all of them..?

Cazzidy 12-20-2015 11:06 AM

Good day everyone! Busy day... :)

Fulkth 12-20-2015 11:31 AM

Hi everyone!

Boy, it's really dead in here at the moment!

I dunno. I can't tell. My trisphee time is really messed up. I better fix that.

Cazzidy 12-20-2015 11:57 AM

seems like everyone's asleep when we're awake?

Fulkth 12-20-2015 12:19 PM

Sorry I poofed. I was looking at a restaurant menu online. XD

The food looked so good! *drools*

Cazzidy 12-20-2015 12:30 PM

it's fine! i am about to sleep as well. :D

Fulkth 12-20-2015 12:41 PM

Goodnight Cazzidy! It was nice chatting with you!

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 02:47 PM

So, I'm dogsitting and on my phone. >>;

Fulkth 12-20-2015 02:50 PM

What exactly is dog sitting?

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 02:51 PM

Watching our puppy so she doesn't eat things or destroy them.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 02:58 PM

Oh, the doggy is at that stage! I was going to say...aren't doggies usually okay on their own? Because we leave our cat home alone all the time.

Monorea 12-20-2015 03:27 PM

Yeah i remember when one of my moms dogs was younger, it destroy 3 of my books T-T
It also chewed on the sofa.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 03:31 PM

Wow, that doesn't sound very good...

Bad doggy!

Monorea 12-20-2015 03:45 PM

Well back then it was really just a puppy, they like chewing on things.
Especially shoelaces and frisbees.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 03:47 PM

How is the dog now? Is he/she well behaved? :)

Monorea 12-20-2015 03:51 PM

He pulls to much when walking him but that is about it.

Gallagher 12-20-2015 04:11 PM

No word yet! I hope I see more chatter later!

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:14 PM

Nah not much from me, the 3D gave me a bad headache and sitting in cinema chairs gave me upset stomach.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:15 PM

@galla

I hope to see more chatter soon too!

Gallagher 12-20-2015 04:16 PM

That's unfortunate, Myst. I don't watch or play any 3D junk, I can't see it anyway.

Hi Fulkth, sup?

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:18 PM

Not with any kind of 3D technology?
There are several kinds some works better for you than others.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:20 PM

My husband wants to watch it in 3d so guess who is also going to be watching it in 3d?

I didn't like it at first, but I got used to it.

Potironette 12-20-2015 04:22 PM

How can people with glasses comfortably watch 3D?

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:23 PM

Well the 3D glasses are made to fit outside most kinds of glasses

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:24 PM

I need my glasses sometimes. So I either put the 3d glasses over my normal glasses or I wear no glasses.

Potironette 12-20-2015 04:24 PM

That's what they want you to think >:
When I wear 3D glasses they drop over my nose.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:26 PM

I would get contacts, I don't think I could stick a lens into my eye.

I cann't even put eye drops in my eye!

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:26 PM

They fit on the glasses of everyone in my family.

Potironette 12-20-2015 04:27 PM

Ahhh, sticking things into the eyes is scary ~.~
Do you like it when things are in 3D though?
Why's 3D junk?

Edit: ... they have less flat noses than me then.

Gallagher 12-20-2015 04:28 PM

Nah, none of it works for me, but my eyes are super uneven.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:31 PM

Maybe you can request like smaller 3D glasses or something. I am not sure if they come in different sizes or not.

3-d is pretty cool. But I tend to get my 3-d and imax experiences mixed up unless it's the same thing. 8D

I like how you feel like you are pretty much in the same room as the characters. Like so close you can touch it.

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:31 PM

Nah i don't really like 3D since the rest of the image gets blurry when it focuses on something.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 04:32 PM

My vision isn't that bad. I am nearsighted with only 25/20 vision.

Potironette 12-20-2015 04:34 PM

Uneven eyes? Like one eye is farsighted and the other is close?

I have horrible vision

I like 3D intros, like when the snowflakes fly at you like it's going to burst on your face. But other wise I feel like I'm watching tiny raised sculptures so there's little point.

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:34 PM

Vision? Bad? what?

Potironette 12-20-2015 04:35 PM

This started it xD

Monorea 12-20-2015 04:36 PM

Does that mean the vision is bad?
