I think it's nearing night. Dante doesn't really feel the difference besides the sudden coldness (remembered, heightened senses) but he probably thinks it's from the open door.

Dante would've gotten crippled by it, if it was strong enough...Psychic stuff is basically his main weakness.

it's not a psychic fear. It's spiritual. Hence Jeanne being the only one resistant to it.

Lucky thing he's blind so he can't actually SEE Rue then? Might end up as her slave anyways in the long run :p

Well, given how down she is already, it might not do much to Fee. :p It's more of a despair-fear than a terror-fear, if that makes sense.

He 'sees' everyone to a degree, since they're all relatively strong. Lev is a bit hard to see, though, because he doesn't have strong non-physical powers. He pretty much shows up as a very dim blur against the black background...At his best (without the help of his motorcycle), when Dante's having a nice adrenaline burst and not dead tired like he is now, he can make out some features of Rue's face, or Shealtiel's, because they're -really damn strong-

Auuuuuuugh. My mom's cooking something greasy x___________x My nose...(I've an insanely strong sense of smell, which can backfire nicely, ha, ha...)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that buildings for the most part don't emit aura. Unless someone strong has touched it/leaned on it/used magic on it/etc recently. Hence Dante's running into crap constantly...

Espy, having a good sense of smell is a blessing and a curse, yes... And if Dante can make out Rue's features I think he's doomed if she tried to seduce him into something XP

Uh, wait...corpse on a throne? And no, she'd be plenty successful if he's not -in the middle of a battle at near-full strength- ...Poison and blood loss can do more to him than just hurt like crazy.

@Espy, did you miss the fact that God is dead in this? :p Semyaza commanded him with his true name to kill himself, just as the apocalypse was beginning, which is why there's been no new earth.

The Saints don't have anywhere to go when they die; they're already spiritual beings "borrowing" flesh with their theurgies. Hence why Shealtiel is so amazed that Typasius was willing to give his life like that.
