Well, this weekend is Semi's grandmother's funeral, so we don't have the whole weekend off. But we'll definitely find some time to get things done!

Oh.....my condolences.

Thank you. We were able to say goodbye last week, it was actually great timing. We were planning to visit the area anyway, and that morning her health completely turned. She was doing great the day before. We think she decided she was finally ready to go. She passed away in the night, less than 12 hours after we visited her. The funeral will be relatively close by where we're staying now, which is lucky for us. We'll still have time to take care of ourselves instead of committing the entire weekend to traveling.

At least you were able to say your goodbyes and spend time with her, and that is more than a lot of people get, so definitely good....at least in perspective. Still saddening that she passed, but at least she was able to see family.

Good that you will still be able to take care of yourselves with what you still need to get done....at least some of it.

Yeah, I'm really glad we had that opportunity. It was probably her time though, she wasn't really able to take care of herself anymore. When I can't do basic things for myself anymore, I want to go too. Well, granted that it's because of old age and not some terrible accident.

Yeah, we'll just have to wait until later tonight to pick up the bedframe and get food and hopefully we'll still have time to look at couches. (The furniture store and grocery store are right next to each other! :D Convenience!) And worst-case scenario, we order the rest of the furniture we need online.

And I understand, I'm kind of of the same opinion, but at the same time I wouldn't want to leave my family/loved ones behind.

Yeah. I do have plenty of time to sleep in tomorrow if need be since I don't have class until 2. I think Semi's classes start decently late as well. So if we have to go grocery shopping at midnight, so be it! *^* Of course, I would much rather go grocery shopping at 7:30, when I get home from class, so I can make a real dinner.....but that's beside the point.
I just realized, though, that I have a terribly long day on monday. 8am work, last class ends at 7pm. I have a little over an hour break for lunch. (3:30 lunchtime lololol school sucks.) I wonder if Monday should be Subway Day, or if I should be cheap and pack lunches. Hmmmm...

That's true, I don't want to leave anyone behind and missing me. I definitely don't want Semi to die first and leave me behind, but I don't want to do the same to him either! Maybe we'll just have beds side-by-side in the nursing home, and die together holding hands. That would be insanely adorable. But also not terribly likely. Oh well. Not something I have to worry about for a while, at least.

On a completely unrelated note, FLORIDA IS A BI POLAR BITCH.

Yeah, my schedule is kinda odd. The only other relatively long day I have is class starting at 2 and work ending at 10, but that's ok because I can eat lunch before class! Since I don't have any classes before 2pm and I don't have any classes on friday, I can't complain about my mondays. Working at 8 in the morning isn't so bad because nothing happens. As long as I pack snacks, I'll be good to go all day!

Well, balances out on the whole then, eh? Sounds like it is an interesting schedule, but one that is definitely manageable.

Yep, I actually really like taking evening classes that are only 1 night a week but are a few hours long. We always get breaks and most days the professor lets us out early anyway. Then when I'm done, campus is nice and peaceful because it's late.

Very true, but I'm more of a night owl, so I tend to prefer the morning/afternoon classes so I have my evenings free.

Well pinkie has a slipped disk in her lower spine so shes always in pain and never feels good but its...not so happy time of the month time =dies=

Ah, okay.....well, the slipped disk part definitely sucks, as for the other bit......nothing that can be done.

I know all about the always in pain part, I don't have a slipped disk but i do have GMD.
I have migraines about two - three times a week.

Do you ever get numbness in your legs from the slipped disk?
