I hope you can find them. Getting them for me was a particular pain. I try to put them to work as often as I can; I call it karmic pay back.

Lol. I tend to just ebay difficult things. That or decide that I'll ave them one day and they appear. It's nice. :)

Just out of curiosity, what decks do you have? This is my second deck ever. Before I just had a version of the Rider-Wiate called the New Paladini Deck; same basic themes but with a Gnostic/Kabala/Christian themed art.

I have a manga deck, the necromicon deck , my working gilded tarot deck, my basic rider-wiate deck, my truth seekers tarot deck one old deck from the 1900's and a deck from the 1800's. :D

It's one of my all time favorite decks, but I'm holding out for a very magical edition of it.

Oooooh havn't got that one. Though one would be amazing. My oldest deck came from Croatia. It was found in the attic of an old house that had a malevolent spirit. Sounds like the plot to a bad movie, I know . XD

Sounds like lots of salt was involved. That is a very epic and powerful deck. From Croatia you say. Are you from a trad family?

I like looking at Tarot cards but I don't seem to be able to sense power from objects, just living beings.

Lol. That's interesting. I consider my decks living beings, and I treat them as such. I watch their energies like I watch the energies of all beings. I try to treat my tarot like I would a person. Especially when I ask them questions.

I am though they won't admit it to me. But these were given t me by a very close friend. Let's just say that at the age of 5 he told this thing to get lost, in so many words, after it threw his mum down the stairs and tried to burn her with the gas stove and it did. He found the cards and passed them onto me years later. They're very high in energy. :)

I would imagine so, the deck sounds powerful. I would be cautious. ;) High energy doesn't mean good energy. Often times potent things carry residue. And most things that leave, unless properly gotten rid of, simply just go somewhere else. It sounds like a wonderful deck though.

Don't worry, I only use it for very deep readings and it seems to like me. More than it's last two owners anyway. My friend said that they just never got along with him. And the owner before that... Well... He was executed. They have a dark past. Poor things.

Poor things indeed. Hence the bad energies. Well good. I'm glad the two of you get along. It would be a shame that a tarot deck be abandoned simply because it's meaner than all the rest. You don't know what specific deck it is, do you?

Well, for me I've never felt anything from an inanimate object except possibly books, but that might be more my imagination taking root. I've never owned a tarot deck though when I worked in a bookstore I liked looking at them.

I'm not saying they don't have power, I just haven't ever felt it myself.

That would be wonderful. And I agree, getting a tarot deck is a lot of fun. If for no other reason than meditations, the tarot can bring a lot of insight into your present state of mind and can serve to be an excellent tool in progressing yourself. They can also be a lot of fun, too.
