HAHAHA i got rid of all my textbooks when i finished school. i have a couple of college psychology books that i bought on a $2 sale, but they're too heavy to hold long enough to read myself to sleep with xD

i think i have some Dickens lying around though. that might work.

I love dickens! What book of his are you reading?

Apagracia 02-04-2011 04:12 PM

i do too! i'm not reading anything at the moment. my favourite of his is Tale of Two Cities though. i love French Revolution fiction, for some odd reason. o.o;;

Airina 02-04-2011 04:14 PM

I love just how he writes and describes everything! but at the moment I do not think I could read anything of his... I was a declared english major last semester and my english course made me despise reading... It made me hate hamlet!!! I mean that's just horrible! I love that book!

Apagracia 02-04-2011 04:19 PM

i've always said that "literature studies" (or whatever they call it where you are) is literature's greatest enemy. books are written to be read and enjoyed, not dissected and destroyed D:

i love Dickens' descriptions too, although sometimes (when i'm tired or depressed) i find him a little too wordy to actually enjoy :[

Airina 02-04-2011 04:21 PM

Hahaha I totally understand! I think the first that I read dickens was in 8th grade... I read great expectations and loved it!

I just sold all of my used textbooks on amazon... *smiles*

Apagracia 02-04-2011 04:27 PM

the first Dickens i read was Oliver Twist when i was about 9. i remember i started on Shakespeare when i was 8 - and i started that with Macbeth xD

but my screen's getting to be too bright for my eyes and i don't wanna fiddle with the settings 'cause i have to carry on with some art in the morning, so i'm gonna head to bed and try to get some sleep.

thanks for keeping me company guys. g'night! :3

*wanders in* I loved Oliver Twist when I rad it in high school. I've tried reading Great Expectations twice and was never able to make myself finish it though ^.^;;
