yeah it was

Hey Just dropping by before I go off to have lunch with my sister and my mom. I'm getting chinese food! WUHOO!
Having the avatar forum you want to visit go down is a close second to no net.
That happened to Solia on the last day of an event this year. I had planned to finish up the last fifty posts to get the items I wanted that Sunday, but they had shut down to fix the problem caused by mispricing the new monthly items. v.v |
Eep, that's too bad Angel. I hate when sites go down when you're in the middle of something. I've lost some pretty good rp posts that way. >> So annoying.
At least they had tradeable event currency, so I just bought some in the market list so I could get the item.
yeah but the sites I'm on usually extend the event the amount of time the site was down during the event
They didn't bother to do that, which would have been nice.
The event shop was left open, though, so you could at least get the items from it. |
Well that does suck
It did kind of, but at least I did get the items.
Apparently Solia will be bringing back their event items every year with some new additions each time. |
well that does help newer people get items
Yup. Especially when some of them take 1,000 or 2,000 posts to get with getting one event currency a post in certain forums.
woah thats insane @.@
I know! 0.0 I think I got kind of discouraged and mostly bought currency instead of posting this past event. That is kind of a bad thing since in the market list the currency is more gold per each than you can make with your first/max gold post.
yeah I'd get discouraged too
Yup! This was the fourth event like that, so no wonder I got that way.
It seems like those kinds of monthly events are what Solia is doing from now on. |
thats not a good way to run an event
