I find that using my Kobo is easier than a book because it takes less space, and I don't have to hold it open. Reading on the computer can bug my eyes, but the Kobo never has. Also, I can get free books with no funny smells or squished bugs with the Kobo. And I've run out of room for keeping paper books, pretty much.

i've found i only buy books for series that i really enjoy (Vampire Diaries, Dune, A Song of Ice & Fire, the Kinsey Millhone series) - the rest i get from my library. i love my library too. =)

All my books are ones I have or will read several times. lol But I've avoided libraries since that four year battle with bedbugs that I had.

In that case, I'm not in such a rush to get a card for the local library... |

Ugh, don't even...I fought with bedbugs a couple semesters back; that was horrible.

I've been thinking of investing in some type of e-reader just because I'm tired of having to get rid of books every time I move. And also because I have no more shelves for books but I don't own nearly enough of them.

E-Readers are WORTH it! I love my Kindle x3
I just wish the book formats were all the same. Kindles are all Mobi format where Nooks are epub.. I forget what the others are.. and then you have PDF formats. @-@ |
The initial lump sum to buy the e-reader is what's putting me off. I realize I'll make it up by not having to buy a fourth copy of Lightning, but still. $100-300 is an awful lot of money to me.

Kindles play pdf, don't they?
|
yes all e-readers can use PDF but not all books are put in PDF formats =( its sad

<3 It's called "Pallas Athene" - it was a welcome gift from Espy. <3 It's a "Special" item. Goodness knows I could never afford it. :p-raspberry: |
Also really loving those wings, SolarCat!
