I wonder what PETA would say about that. It's not harming the chinchilla at all.

PETA isn't the best advocate group for stopping animal cruelty. They pass out pamphlets at my college at our events, and they're filled with the most horrible pictures of the absolute worst conditions that some animals are kept in. They don't even bother to mention that some places treat their animals really well before their time.

I could continue, but it would be so off-topic it's not funny.
