I can be a hoarder too, many with the currency or with items.

But I like to hoard items that I know I want or an going to use XD

I like to just hoard all the items. Especially event items. I want all the event items since many websites I can never get them all on my own D:

That's true. It is especially hard to collect items when the event relies heavily on posting...kind of like this one XD
I usually can manage, unless it is a site I just never got involved with in regards to chatting.

@MacSen: The event is suppose to go for two weeks from when it started. I'm not sure on the exact date.

In a week if you go by when the announcement was posted. Which means my lurker self won't be getting all the items. Probably only like 2 or 3 maybe.

Been a lurker can be such a pain when it comes to events. I'm going to try and post, but it will be hard since I don't normally do it.

I'll be happy if I can get one or two items.

I want a full set of the event items, too.

At least I am about two thirds of the way done already.

I sort of lurk, but then again I am on so many avatar forums that I bounce around trying to be sort of active in them all. So I end up mostly just active for events and other happenings unless I am questing.

There will be an announcement when the event is close to ending so you will know when to start scrambling. ;).

If you are short on ribbons, often people will start selling extras in the marketplace when the event starts to wind down or when they have all the items they want, so it's worth it sometimes to have a look there.

Quest threads also provide a handy place to chat. Many people talk there since there's not a lot else to do with a quest thread.

I usually don't buy event currencies. If I can't get them, I'll be the items later if I really want them.

And I barely even post in Jibber-Jabber

I've never posted there. Not even sure what the thread is about. Start your own thead is you like (I know, lots of people say that). Sometimes the most innocuous thing can be quite popular.
