As Mizuki pulled back he didnt get a chance to say anything as Thalion leaned up and kissed him though as he spoke some more Mizuki couldnt help the response he gave "Why should I...I mean you could walk around naked all day and I wouldnt complain" He said with a growl as he looked down to Thalion. It was true though he would not complain if it came down to it and Thalion didnt have any other clothes to wear.

At this thought though Mizuki smiled as he moved one of his hands from the floor beside Thalions head before moving it and placing it on a bare chest under him "If I had my say..." He said "You wouldnt have a need for clothes" He said before he leaned moved that hand from the chest to Thalions hair. Gabbing a fist full he moved the males head before his lips attached to his neck. Kissing and licking before he bit down with a little growl.

Pulling back he smiled "Then again..." He said lightly "My words only go so far..." Mizuki said with a little growl before he moved back and stood. Looking down to Thalion as the male still laid on the floor he smiled "...its your loss" He said with a shrug of his shoulders before he moved and headed for the bathroom. There he washed his hands with a little hiss before heading back into the main room. The cuts that rested there still bled lightly.

Moving he smiled as he saw Thalion sitting there on the floor where he was left "Did I fluster you that much that you find it hard to move?" Mizuki asked with a tilt of his head and a smile "I mean...I know its been a while..." Mizuki said with a smile before he gave a shrug of his shoulders "...I guess it will be awhile more..." He said before turning towards the bed with a smirk on his lips.

Walk around naked Mizuki said. No he'd rather not, not if he had a say in the matter. Though he knew Mizuki wasn't kidding when the other said he wouldn't mind. He would, even without a shirt he hated it. Though not when his mind was set on something else it seemed. He didn't think about it till just now to be honest.

Though this was when the other continued saying if he had his say in it he would have no need for clothes. Not that Mizuki had a chance to say anything on this as Mizuki seemed to kiss his neck after moving his head to the side. That in combination with the bite made Thalion gasp a little. He half believed that if Mizuki did have a say in it he wasn't lying about what he was saying. Though then work really would never get done.

Though that was when Mizuki seemed to pull back and stand from where he was. Not only that but he even left the room after a few words. After the other left the room he sat up after a moment and just stayed there. Though it was the words that Mizuki spoke as he returned to the room that made Thalion glare a little.

Yes it had been a while... but still he wasn't that flustered. He was about to show Mizuki that as the other seemed to turn his back on him and walk towards the bed. He waited as he got up. Though after a moment he caught up to Mizuki before pushing him down against the bed and holding him there.

"A while longer hrm? After that and you just were going to leave me there." He growled a little before nipping the tip of Mizuki's ear. "You didn't really think I was going to let you get away with that did you?" He knew Mizuki was teasing him but that was a bit cruel to start and leave like that. Let alone to act like he wasn't going to do anything further.

After he washed his hands and headed for the bedroom he had a thought in his mind. He was wondering if the male was going to allow him to go to bed or not. Though Mizuki knew that with the teases that he did earlier it was not going to happen. The fact that once he entered the room and saw Thalion sitting there was more then enough to tell him this little game was not over.

So choosing his words as he did so Mizuki smirked as he turned his back to Thalion with a shrug as he headed for the bed. Though once he reached the side of it he couldnt help the gasp that left his lips as he felt his hands being grabbed before himself being bent over. Mizuki then found himself face first into the bed with his hands pressed into his lower back as Thalion leaned over him.

"A while longer hrm? After that and you just were going to leave me there." Mizuki smirked at those words as he turned his head to the side "Maybe..." Was his response. This though was when he felt a sharp nip to the tip of his ear and he gave a little growl as Thalion began to speak close to his ear "You didn't really think I was going to let you get away with that did you?" Thalion said and he smiled at this.

"I dont know..." He said with a smile "Maybe I could of gotten away" Mizuki said with a little growl and he struggled a little against the male holding him. Though as he did his foot slipped out and he groaned as his legs slipped apart more pushing him deeper into the bed below him. "Seems all is against me" He said in a playfull hiss as he moved his hips against Thalion in attempt to get away though he hardly wanted to.

Maybe was the answer. Maybe his foot, Mizuki knew what he was getting himself into from the start or he wouldn't have done anything. Though the other seemed determined to play innocent as he went on saying he could have gotten away with it or might have. Though Mizuki did try to struggle a little not really that hard but enough to make Thalion have to hold him there.

Not that it helped him any as the other's foot seemed to slip and he ended up more against the bed. Mizuki speaking once more made Thalion smirk a little as he held both of Mizuki's wrists in one hand and moved the other between Mizuki's chest and the bed leaving it there for a moment. "You're not acting like you really want to get away..." He started.

Moving the hand from the bare chest and down to the edge of Mizuki's pants before moving the other to press back against him more. "Besides.. I think you like this. As you said it has been a little while." He started before biting the exposed shoulder and going on afterwards. "Just having me close like this, you're excited about it.."

As he laid there face first into the bed Mizuki couldnt help the growl that came from his lips as he felt his hands move to being held in one before that now free hand moved between his chest and the bed. Strong dark fingers spread there though he didnt have a moment to say anything as Thalion spoke "You're not acting like you really want to get away..." was it really that easy to tell? Mizuki knew that he could get away if he wanted to but he didnt.

However any words that he was about to say were cut off at the gasp that left his lips as he felt that free hand move down to the hem of his pants before he was pulled back a little into the dark chest behind him. This however was when Thalion used his words against him saying it had been awhile before teeth met his exposed shoulder causing him to growl a little where he half stood.

Though that growl turned into a moan that he couldnt hold back as Thalion spoke again "Just having me close like this, you're excited about it.." Well it was true he was but he had half a mind to tell the male that he was not but another thought came to his mind instead. Mizuki knew that he had lost this little war between them the moment he was forced face first into the bed but this didnt mean he could still play with the male behind him.

Though the thought on what he could do came to mind so he did just that. Arching his back more Mizuki leaned into the chest behind him until he placed his head on the males shoulder. His hands were still held behind his back and do to his footing Mizuki stood arched backwards like a bow "Indeed I am excited to have you so close..." He said in a growl agreeing with the male as he felt that free hand move to his lower stomach.

"Though I must say..." Mizuki began with a little growl "I wouldnt have it any other way..." He said with hiss before he turned his head into the males neck and with no warning latched his teeth onto the dark skin with a smirk to his lips.

That was where everything started and continued. Rough was an understatement for some of the movements the two had though Mizuki wouldnt complain. No it was rare for the couple to be this way but with the events of the day it was to be expected. Either way it started and ended in a fury of movement as the two half stood half laid over the bed breathing heavily. "Well..." Mizuki began as he panted "That...was different" He said with a groan as his arms were finally let go and he could move.

Though he didnt move far as he crawled into the bed and all but collapsed into the sheets and blankets with a sigh "Though...I am most certainly not complaining" Mizuki yawned lightly as he moved and rolled onto his back and looking over he smiled at Thalion as the male moved into the bed along side him. Not giving him a chance to move or argue Mizuki moved and took his place where he usually did laying his head on the males chest before curling into his side with a groan as he moved a now sore back.

Even being rough movements it was needed. The two had stayed so busy that he really didn't remember the last time they spent any time together. Though they had both spoke they were going to work on that. But that could be worried about later as he had something else he'd rather be focused on. That was the male under him he held captive against the bed.

Everything said and done Mizuki spoke looking at him saying that was different, but not complaining. "The number of times you force me into the wall.. I call it even." He said with a bit of a smirk before moving to lay down. He barely got to laying down before Mizuki had claimed the spot he normally did when they laid together.

Things did clear up after that day. Slowly but surely. Both sides did as they said they would and worked on not wasting all their time on work. sure things came up once in a while but that was different. So for now the family seemed to be just that. Granted the fact that it was a odd family but still one none the less.

This continued for a while. Things still were in a time of peace and all seemed well enough. At least a month went by from that day. That wasn't a lot of time but plenty enough for things to go wrong again. Not that anyone was complaining that they had not. Though today was not like any other day. Thalion was getting one of those feelings again like something was going to happen or show up he was not going to like.

A looming feeling of dread. Like something he had felt before but he couldn't place a finger on it. For the time being he was in the training grounds with a few of the newer dragon riders. Just a handful and then the little one of his own. Whatever reason the two him and Mizuki had seemed to grow at a rather slow rate. Slow being all this time and they were barely the size of a large dog.

Though today was different indeed. They were having a visitor apparently. Thalion hardly paid this much mind, it wasn't like it was something new for someone to visit the kingdom or for their allies to send messengers. Though it might be a good thing Thalion was not paying attention at the time. The visitor seemed to want to seek out Mizuki, this didn't seem odd either.

Nothing was out of place, just a report of a older elven who said he knew Mizuki. Probably someone of Mizuki's past who knew. It wasn't like he was worried about it. Mizuki would probably fill him in later if it was important or not.

After that night the two did as they said they were going to do and neither one of them stayed away from the other for long. Some times it was true that something did come up but it was a once ina while thing now. It was not until a month later that things seemed to change. Due to the link the two of them shared it was easy to tell the feeling that Thalion had. An uneasy one that matched his own and yet he couldnt put a finger on it.

No something was a miss here. Though that feeling came back to him as a guard came to him "Um Mi'lord?" He heard the question and it caused him to look up to the guard standing there before him. Mizuki sighed before looking down at the papers in his hands once more "Yes what is it?" He asked as he still continued on his work "There is some one here to see you" He said and Mizuki looked up at this "And who would that be?" He asked with a raised brow though the male before him shook his head "He did not say Mi'lord"

At that Mizuki frowned. Who would come all this way to his kingdom and seek him out but not give a name? Shaking his head he stood "And where is said person?" He asked moving out from behind the desk "He is waiting for you in the throne room sir" The male said and Mizuki sighed "Very well..." He said though at this the male stopped "If I may my lord..." He said and Mizuki nodded allowing him the chance to continue speaking "If I may my lord I suggest taking some guards with you" He said.

At that Mizuki looked to him "And why would I need them?" He asked witha tilt of his head and at this the guard before him stuttered a little "Well my lord the male is old in age and by the looks of things is a mage and a powerfull one at that" He said though this caused Mizuki to raise a brow. Some one like that seeking him out? That was interesting in more ways then one.

Heading for the door he looked to the male "Go and seek your king. Tell him I await for him in the throne room with...our new visitor" He said before leaving the study. This was when he gathered some more men to fallow him as he headed for the room. Though something told him that the male in question was indeed one that he knew but one he never thought he would be seeing again.

Mizukis thoughts were all to true as he reached the throne room and entered the hall. Moving in with the guards behind him he moved to the throne before standing before it and looking at the male before him. This was when his eyes widened and it took him a moment to believe what he was seeing "It can not be..." He said lowly to himself but at this the male before him smirked and tilted his head a little "It can be and so it is" He heard.

The male before him stood tall a little over his own height. Short white hair sat messy on top of a head as long pointed ears stuck out from there. Pale skin accented bright green eyes and white and light green robes sat on an older body. Wrinkles aged a pale face as the male stood there "It has been awhile has it not?" The male asked as he stood there and Mizuki didnt know what to do or say "It...it has yes" He said moving down from the throne to stand infront of the male.

"All this time away and I see you have built yourself a nice little home here" He said with a smile and Mizuki nodded his head "Yes indeed.." He said lightly though this caused the smile on the older males face to fade "And I hear that it is not only you that rules but another male..." the male said and Mizuki nodded again "Not only that but you two are...how do I say this" The male thought for a moment "Involved with each other" He said with a smirk.

At that Mizuki frowned. What should that matter to the male before him. Not only that but why would he seek him out after all this time? However he seemed to get his answer as the older man spoke again "And your partner the drow..." He began "Is Thalion Lorulm correct?" At that Mizuki faulted a little "Yes indeed it is" He said with a nod of his head though this caused the male to smile a little "How interesting..." He said with a smirk.

Mizuki didnt know what to say or do. Why was this so interesting to the elder male before him? Though his thoughts ended as the doors behind him opened and he turned finding himself looking to Thalion as the male walked in. "There you are" He said with a smile "Thalion this is Seavain...my master" He said before looking back to the older male before them.

Mizuki seemed to summon him to the throne room where the guest was with the other. Or so that was what the guard that Mizuki had sent off to fetch Thalion. Surely Mizuki didn't need him there. Though maybe it was better to meet this guest that seemed to know Mizuki. Though he would be wishing he had stayed right where he was as soon as he saw who it was.

It took a little bit of time to get there but not too long. Enough time for the two talking to end their conversation. Though as soon as Mizuki spoke the elders name and Thalion saw the mage standing there his ears went back and the link between the two probably told Mizuki plenty that Thalion was not pleased in the least to see this male.

He had his reasons and ones that seemed to be haunting him. This worried him in more then a few ways. They always did say that going against the goddess' will would never end well, let alone that it was impossible to escape fate. Fate seemed to be ready to slap him in the face today as he wasn't sure if he should cover up the fact he knew the man more then he cared to know or just play it off that he was annoyed at the trainees if questioned.

Either way he knew he would have to explain things or try to avoid explaining them to Mizuki as a sudden wave of uneasiness had come upon Thalion as soon as he set eyes on the male. Sure it was a known fact Thalion hated magic but to be that unnerved by just seeing someone meant something deeper then that.

Though for now he was biting his tongue as he as he forced out the words pleasure. Yeah if pleasure meant that he wanted to see this man's still beating heart in his hand. Thats what his plans were for him as a child it seemed like a fair trade. Through it all the older male seemed amused to see Thalion standing there.

Of course he would be. Thalion was suppose to be dead at the age of seven! Yet here he was in his 60's and still very much breathing. Though the male this Seavain, Mizuki's master... he could change that. Maybe that was why he was here. No surely that wasn't it. So why the hell was he here?! Unanswered questions on top of his uneasy nerves at the moment was not helping anything.

This man was the reason his life at such a young age was a living hell! His sole purpose for being born was to try and remove that damned curse and for years he had wished everything under the sun and that lurked in the darkness that this man had died somewhere. Some horrible death that was fitting to someone who would use such rituals that took the blood of those unable to fight.

A number of the older scars he blamed on this man. He had tried to run away countless times and failed each time. Trying to escape the fate he was born into. If he thought he had a chance in hell of winning he might just go and attack the male standing here. Screw talking to him of being in his presence. His father thought so highly of him though. It sickened him to see him standing there with that hint of a smirk on his face.

Mizuki had seen Thalion angry with people before, but they were people he knew or had met before. This seemed to be a stranger yet Thalion was furious. A mix of being furious, fear and being anxious all mixed into one. That was not normal for Thalion. He seemed to be holding his cool as he stood there not really hinting at any of it besides a slight scowl, though that could just be him trying to debate if he trusted the person standing here. Due to the link Mizuki knew there was far more behind that expression then Thalion was letting on.

So much in fact that he caught himself breathing a little to kill the slight spark he felt of his magic going against his will. His emotions getting the better of his magic control at the present time as he stood there. Luckily it wasn't enough to draw any attention unless you were looking for it.

The only good news was that Vaden had walked with Thalion. He had been helping with training the dragons and preventing any ... unneeded damage that the untrained beasts could do. Though Vaden was no fool and knew who the male standing here was. Someone around his own age, they were both from a era long past. A time almost forgotten to the age that was upon the world now.

Vaden knew why Thalion seemed to tense instantly as he squeezed his shoulder to give him a hint to calm down as he walked past him to break this tension and maybe to make Thalion a bit more at ease. Vaden was different from a lot of elder mages. He stayed laid back and didn't seem to resort to using his magic or old rituals unless there was no other way.

"Seavain, it has been too long." The two knew one another and both of them knew better then to get into any fights here. If people thought Mizuki could level this place then these two elder mages going at it would level the country side as well. This was the better option then to let the male stand here and taunt Thalion without breathing a word.

Though to admit things Vaden was curious. Seavain was powerful indeed and had many connections. If he had wanted Mizuki or to see the other he could have found him ages ago... Though he would wait for such information to slip, it always had a way of doing so. Vaden knew back then of the plans for young Thalion, little he could do without going against the Queen's rule. Though that had been some time ago, the ritual had been started all those years ago but never completed. The raid ensured it was never completed.

Either way when Vaden spoke up and stepped forward with a slight bow to the other it seemed to give Thalion a moment to breath correctly. Getting some of his nerve back. Being in here alone even with Mizuki there he knew he stood little chance against anything this bastard wanted to do. Neimi wanted to know why he never celebrated his birthday... because it was coming up soon and he wasn't sure if Seavain showing up was a hint at something or just ill timing of the male before him.

Mizuki stood there and as he told Thalion who the male was though from the reaction he got there was something missing. Thalion acted as though he knew the male before them in more ways then one. Though that seemed to be an almsot impossible thought. It was not until he forced pleasure that left the males lips and the feeling between did he know Thalion knew more then he let on. That in its self was interesting.

Mizuki however didnt get a moment to think about it as Vaden stepped forward though with the hand on the males shoulder giving it a slight squeeze. From there Mizuki saw Thalion take a deep breath where he stood. Okay well then. It would seem that Vaden and himself had matters to discuss later on down the road that was today.

It was not until Vaden stepped forward to Saevain saying that it had been a long time that Mizuki looked back to his master. Was the world really that small? Did Vaden actually know his master and not only that but why did Thalion seem to have a connection to the male before him? Everything seemed to happening at once and Mizuki was at a loss for words. Everything combined with the emotions from the link Mizuki didnt know what to do but stand there and watch what was happening before them.

"Why Vaden" Saevian began "I knew that with the rumors of the young lord here alive and well there would be a chance of seeing you old friend" He said with a smile as he dipped his head "Here I came to seek my student for his studies and I find..." Here he paused "An unexpected surprise" He said with a smirk as he looked to Thalion again. Though as he did the emotions in the link took more of an angry feel to them. Looking to Thalion he could see the anger and he didnt need the link to tell of it.

"Well.." Mizuki said deciding it was time to stop this little show before it began "I am sure that you have some things to discuss" Mizuki said looking to Saevian and the man looked to him before his face changed from a smirk to a stern look "That we do" He said "I bet you have done but slack off" The male huffed and at this Mizuki glared a little "For your information I have not been slacking off" Mizuki said though this caused the male to stand at his full height.

"No you have just wasted what...thirty some years of your life building a kingdom that wont last" He said with a tilt of his head "But thats not slacking or wasting your time" The male said with a little growl "Now..." He said "If you dont mind magic waits for no one" Saevain said as he turned and it was all Mizuki could do to look at Thalion before giving the male a sad smiled before he fallowed the older male out of the room.

Mizuki was a king yes but he held his respects for his master. After all it was the man that taught him magic and took him under his wing. Though that should only go so far right? Even as he heard Thalion call his name behind him he couldnt find it in himself to turn and speak with the male. No instead he all but ignored his name being called out as he left with the male. It was going to be a long day.

It seemed like no time before Mizuki walked off with the other elder mage. Even when he tried calling out to the other Mizuki never paused or stopped. This angered Thalion all the more as he huffed. "Fine tsk.. whatever." He said before turning and starting to walk off with Vaden in toe a bit concerned with this sudden appearance.

Let alone the words, elder mages had a way about being right with things. He himself knew this too well. "Thalion... surely you can't think that -" "Thats exactly what the hell I think. Why come here, really to train Mizuki after all these years? It is not like Mizuki has gone anywhere he was easy enough to track down." He growled a little before breathing out trying to recover him temper. "I don't trust him Vaden. You of all people know why."

Vaden did know but he thought that this was surely some ill timing of things. That or Thalion was over reacting. Not that he could blame the young male for doing so. A dark shadow that loomed over his childhood was something hard to shake. Let alone the man that was the cause for it standing there. Probably did not help Mizuki reacted as a child obeying a parent and walked off with no other word.

None the less Thalion did everything in his power to avoid their guest. Vaden tried to talk the male out of his worries but nothing worked. Hell Thalion admitted he was worried for Mizuki being around that bastard. A bit harsh but Saevian was ... a bit corrupted in some of his methods of doing things. Though no one was perfect especially if you lived as long as they had.

Vaden sighed a little leaning against a wall near a window as Ryza seemed to notice Thalion's sudden mood. She frowned a little as Vaden said to just leave him be. She didn't know why. She was old enough to know but next to Vaden Damien was the only other one who might know why Thalion hated this man that came today.

Heck the odd thing was Thalion all but avoided even being in the castle. The further away he was from Saevian the happier he seemed to be. Though when night started to come around and Thalion still seemed to be all but avoiding the other mage Vaden frowned getting a bit concerned for this. Not like they knew how long Saevian was staying here. "Ryza can you go try to find our young lord.."

she gave him a odd look before shrugging. "Fine, drag him back got it." She laughed a little before walking off. It might take dragging him back indeed. 'Why are you really here..' He thought to himself about why Saevian really came here. Surely he would come sooner hearing news of his students handy work. Let alone at the thought that a son of Zeffren was still alive. Maybe not one of the ones he wanted to be alive though.

Mizuki didnt know what to do. He was caught between many things and each one tore his heart a different way. It pained him to walk away from Thalion even as the male called his name though with his master he knew what he could do and what he couldnt. Ignoring the males wishes was one thing he couldnt do for if he did Mizuki knew that he would regret it. Though the fact that the male was here after all this time meant that something was afoot and Mizuki was going to get to the bottom of things.

As the time passed on Thalion did not show his face even near the castle grounds. At least not that Mizuki knew of. At nights he waited for the male to come back and come to bed so he could talk with him but the more and more he waited the more and more he realized that no one was coming. So his nights what was left after training was spent alone usually curled in a chair infront of the fire place. The bed was to large for himself to sleep in alone.

Now it has been a week since Saevain came to the castle and during that time he knew nothing of the outside world really. He had enough time in a day to do his work that needed to be done then besides that his master and himself trained and it was just how Mizuki remembered. The harsh words the forcing of spells though at least he could last longer this time around with out the worry of failing to soon. Though with that came another fear one that if he was to take massive blows and suffer damage that Thalion would as well.

It was a thought in his mind as he trained day in and day out though his worries he could not express to the male for he was no where to be seen. This in itself set warning bells off in Mizukis mind but who could he express them to? That was the thought on his mind as he stood there before his master breathing heavy "I thought you would of been far better off then what are" The male hissed as he stood there with his staff in hand.

Mizuki glared "I think I am doing well for my self thank you" He hissed though as soon as the words left his mouth he regretted them. Saevain growled deep as he cast his own spell and Mizuki didnt have the chance to dodge the wooden spikes that shot out from the floor. He could only hiss as he felt them slice past his skin before one drove through his thigh. Biting his tongue he held the yell of pain that he knew would of came. That would only bring more pain if he showed his.

This had been going on for days. The one thing Mizuki hated about the male before him was his primary element, earth. This allowed him to control wood, rock and dirt at will with his spells often leaving Mizuki with splinters or cuts and bruises. His thoughts here ended though as he felt the spike in his thigh retreat as well as the others as they sliced back through skin to return where they first were. "It seems to me that the drow has made you weak" He hissed looking to Mizuki.

At that Mizuki looked to him with a questioning look "And what makes you think its his fault?" He asked and at that the male smiled "I mean its bad enough you had to fall for a young master with no future let alone a cursed one" He said and at that Mizuki frowned. Just how well did his master know of Thalion? "Plus not to mention the so called...family you seem to have" He said before walking a little as he started a path around Mizuki as the male stood there panting.

"By the way...why is it that you have three heirs and all three know nothing compaired to what they should?" Saevain asked and Mizuki growled "They know enough for their ages" He said though he swallowed those words as he was back handed across the face forcing his head to the side "The youngest...Amonar was the childs name" The man said "By that time you knew more then the two older ones combined" He said and at that Mizuki frowned "They are not me" He said and right there he knew it was a mistake.

He was right a moment later as he couldnt help the hiss of pain to escape his lips as he felt a hand dig into the hole in his thigh "No they are not you" The man said "But they are your kids...have I taught you nothing?" Saevian said with a growl before he ripped his hand away. "Now get out of my sight" The male hissed before stepping back "And I hope you take my words to heart Mizuki...your childern will be forever weak if you keep this up" He said in a hiss.

After that Mizuki limped out of the room. He knew better then to stay once he was dismissed. Walking or rather limping down the hall he ignored the whispers of those he passed as well as the questions on his well being. He would live thats all that mattered. Though as he passed another group he was not left alone for long as he had two fallowers. They fallowed him all the way to his study before he even realized.

It was not until he opened the doors and turned to close them did he see who was there. Frowning he nodded as he let the two into the room before closing the door "Papa..." He heard two voices and he raised a hand at this to silence them. Moving over he hissed as he sat down causing his leg to give a gush of blood "Papa you need to heal that..." He heard Belquiri say as she moved over though Mizuki stopped her "No...a simple herb rap will do" Mizuki knew better then to fully heal them. He found that out the hard way many years ago.

Though at this Mizuki looked to Nytria "Go fetch me Vaden...it seems him and I have some things to discuss" He said to him with a sigh and Nytria looked to Belquiri before giving a nod and leaving the room. This was when the female went about and cleaned the gashes that covered his body before rapping them "Thank you my dear but now I ask you to leave" He said to her and she began to protest but Mizuki growled "That is not a request that is an order...leave me" He said and this caused her to take a step back.

Never had her papa ever said such things to her in the way that he jsut did. Something was wrong and she knew that though that didnt mean that Mizuki could take it out on her. So with that a little flare of Thalion seemed to come into her as she bowed low "As you wish my lord" She hissed before leaving the room. She needed to find dad, enough was enough!

Belquiri left as she was told to do and she was going to find Thalion no matter what. She ran across Ryza who seemed to know where her father had been hiding himself away. The two had a long talk before she forced the information she wanted from the elder female. Near about barking it as a order as she kept a stern face. "Tsk... he's stayed to the caves... he found them some time ago they aren't too far off if you follow the road to the left that is never used." Ryza told the girl as she ran off to seek her missing parent.

Nytria found Vaden easily enough as he said Mizuki wanted to speak to him. "I'm sure he does.." Vaden said following the youth and being lead to the study where Mizuki was at currently. Though Mizuki barked similarly to Nytria to leave as he had Belquiri. That wasn't like papa to do that... to anyone. He went to find their younger sibling to make sure that Mizuki hadn't spoken to him in the same way. That would break the poor child if he had.

Vaden waited a moment till the door was closed before bowing his head. "My lord has questions then?" He knew this was coming but he did not intend to give answers so freely unless asked correctly. Mizuki should know things about Thalion yes, but these are things that should have been spoken about long before now.

Belquiri found Thalion as she huffed and glared at him. Though he looked at her a bit confused on why she was here. The strong front she had died as she stood there a moment on the brink of tears before rushing forward and latching onto Thalion. "There is something wrong.. Papa isn't himself.. he.. he." Thalion blinked a little use to Belquiri of all of them being so strong and here she was crying.

"Shh.. hey come on now what happened?" He said trying to calm her down as she looked at him her eyes still threatening more tears. "Papa.. he does nothing but train and each day he looks worse and.. and today he ordered me to leave.." She sniffled a little as she looked down. "I made him angry and I don't know what I did wrong.. I've been looking after Amonar and doing my studies and everything.. what did i-" Thalion cut her off holding her there.

"You didn't do anything... shh.. just calm down Bel." His ears lowers a little as she hiccuped and nodded weakly. "I'll go back.. I'm not going to let him take things out on you and your siblings." She smiled though a weak one and nodded. Either way they were walking back or in the process of it and Mizuki might be able to tell by the link Thalion was ticked.

Though not at the same person this time, no this time it was at Mizuki. He had no excuse to take out whatever was going on towards the children. As much as he didn't want to go back with that damned mage still there he had little choice. Let alone with the date fast coming up... the one he avoided every year and no one knew about minus a handful. and the whole handful of them were all in the same place..

After Nytria had returned with Vaden he did the same for Nytria and ordered the male out of his sight. As Vaden came in and closed the door he heard the male speak saying that he had questions "You know damn well that I do!" Mizuki said looking to the older male "Where the hell do I start..." Mizuki cursed as he stood from where he was sitting with a grunt of pain "You...are going to tell me anything that I want to know do I make my self clear?" He asked the male and only got a nod in return.

It was not like Mizuki to be so harsh towards people and others let alone his family but the male that was his master always got under his skin in more ways then one. Sighing a little Mizuki looked to Vaden "Tell me...what connections dose Thalion and my master have?" He asked the male. "Not only that..." He began "But how do you know him as well...plus to top it off why on earth is he here after all these years!" He yelled to the room.

The last question was one Mizuki knew that Vaden could not answer. It was a one that plagued his mind but the more and more he thought of it the harder it was to come up with an answer. Though to Mizuki that answer rested some where in Thalions past and he knew that from the way that the male acted. "Vaden...I am not in the mood for your riddles" He said looking to the male before he had a chance to say anything "I want answers and you are going to give them to me" He said in a huff.

Mizuki knew that things in the castle were tense because of the new male in its walls. He also knew that because of it the man he loved refused to even be near this place and he wanted to know why. He could feel all the emotions that Thalion had through the link but non matched the anger he felt at times. Though right now that feeling of anger was more then he could handle as he growled.

Nytria after he left the room stood on the other side of the door for a while. His mind had so many thoughts in it he didnt know what to think. The emotions from Belquiri mixed with his own made him growl. Things were different in the castle and he didnt like it. Heading down the hall he kept his head hung and his fists clenched as he thought of everything. Before he knew it he found himself in the courtyard but it was the calling of his name that made him stop.

Looking up he saw Belquiri walking closer to him with Thalion at her side. The male looked angry just as papa but something was different with Thalion then Mizuki. Taking his chances Nytria walked towards them and not giving the male a chance to say anything he rapped his pale arms around Thalion and held the male close as he hid his head in his neck. "Are...you coming to save papa?" He asked as he hid his head with slightly heaving shoulders.

Vaden was expecting Mizuki be demand answers. He never thought much of the orders he was saying. In his old age he learned to over look a lot of things and Mizuki had a right to be furious or confused with what was going on. For Thalion to vanish from the castle with no word or reason. Hardly normal. Sure a day maybe to get something but it had been near about a week of this going on.

He seemed to think on how to best answer these questions. First how Thalion knew Mizuki's master. "His father. Thalion's father was also trained by the man you know as your master." There was more to this and Mizuki could probably tell. "I know him because we are around the same age. I liked knowing who had what powers and if they were a threat or not." Though he also knew him through Thalion's father.

As well as the removal of that curse or trying to remove it. The reason Thalion was even born was because of that poison that Mizuki's master fed into the royal family. Even going against Vaden's suggestion of saying that such a ritual would never remove a curse of a elder dragon. No at the time they trusted the word of a outsider who claimed to know what he was talking about. Vaden was still sure that such a ritual would not remove the curse.

He bowed his head a little shaking it. "As far as why he is here I have no idea. I have tried to get such information but he can produce about as many riddles as I can in a breath." Though he was starting to think Thalion's fear was not as misplaced as he first thought. There was a motive as to him coming or showing up after all these years it was just as to finding out what.

Vaden answered what Mizuki had asked though he left out details and that was when the male before him demanded better answers. He sighed finally shaking his head. "The answers you seek are not ones you will like. And I fear we might get answers to them in the weeks time." Seeing as h knew when Thalion was born and that wasn't too many days off now. But why come now, it had been so long ago why decide to bring up a old wound.

Thalion noticed Nytria as Belquiri called out to her sibling and he seemed to walk over to them before latching onto Thalion and asking if he was going to save Papa. "I'm going to knock some damned sense into him if anything." He hissed a little getting the younger male to calm down. He was good for that he could get any of them to calm down so easily.

Either way he had the two in toe and he was heading towards the study where Mizuki was still talking to Vaden. Though it would take a few moments for them to get there. Vaden sighed a little before he started to say the real reason why Thalion knew his master. "You saw it right.. that fear. There was no hesitation in it and that was as pure a state you will ever see that emotion in Thalion. He has good reasons to have such a fear. But as I warned you will not like the reason and your master was in the center of it."

Though he luckily didn't have to answer Mizuki right now as Thalion walked into the room and past Vaden. He already knew what he was going to say and do and he dared Mizuki to say a damned thing. Grabbing the other as he forced him to stand there holding the collar of the robe in his hands as he glared at the other. It was odd though as there were flecks of red in his eyes, barely there but they were there. Not even having to do with his current temper there was something else at work here.

"You got a damned problem? Don't you say no because Belquiri came to find me, out of all the people you choose to be cruel to and its your own children. Have you said anything to little Amonar too? Do I have to go find him and calm him down as well saying you're just stressed or some shit? Asking me if I'm going to save you or that something is wrong with you. You're damned lucky I didn't just knock your lights out when I walked in the room."

He finally breathed out before releasing the other and forcing him back into the chair. He huffed finally looking at the other. "First you go happily running off with that damned bastard now this? You got a problem or need someone to take some punches by all means I'm right here, leave the kids out of whatever issue you are having."

This was when he noticed the others state as he scowled a little standing there. "Tsk let me guess he did this to you? I'm worried about you .. and your too blind to see everyone is worried about you. But you keep going back to him and there is no good reason why no matter what you say." He said before backing up a little and giving him a moment to speak but it would not be a long moment nor would he stand there and let Mizuki blame any of this on him.

Mizuki stood there as he listened to the male before him speak. So...his master trained Thalions father as well? That was interesting in itself though there seemed to be more that was hidden here. Though as Vaden went on as to why he didnt know why Saevian was here he growled. It was true though his master was indeed known for his riddles and never giving an easy answer to a question. It was one thing that he hated about the older people of his race.

"You know as well as I that those are not the answers I seek!" He hissed but at this Vaden frowned a little before he spoke again "The answers you seek are not ones you will like. And I fear we might get answers to them in the weeks time." At this Mizuki growled deeply as he glared at the male before him "I do not care if they are ones that I will like or not...I want them and I need them and by the gods sake you will tell me!" He screamed at the male before him.

With him yelling at the male Mizuki felt as though he was going to get the answers he wanted as Vaden began to speak "You saw it right.. that fear. There was no hesitation in it and that was as pure a state you will ever see that emotion in Thalion. He has good reasons to have such a fear. But as I warned you will not like the reason and your master was in the center of it." Mizuki could see that yes and it troubled him that is why he needed these answers!

Though as he was about to open his mouth and talk to the male before him the doors opened and he had only a moment to look to see who had the nerve to enter his study with out asking but his words died as he was forced forward with a gasp as Thalion stood before him with his hand bunched in the front of his robes. Looking into those ember orbs Mizuki stopped. Light flecks of red met his view and the sinking feeling in his heart came back ten fold. Though he didnt get a chance to comment as Thalion spoke.

"You got a damned problem? Don't you say no because Belquiri came to find me, out of all the people you choose to be cruel to and its your own children. Have you said anything to little Amonar too? Do I have to go find him and calm him down as well saying you're just stressed or some shit? Asking me if I'm going to save you or that something is wrong with you. You're damned lucky I didn't just knock your lights out when I walked in the room."

Was that so? He was lucky that he was still lucid was he? "Why didnt you?" He asked the male in a hiss "I know I can tell you want to from the moment this all started!" He hissed into that dark face though he didnt have another moment to say anything or act as Thalion growled and pushed him backwards until he fell into the chair. Though the moment he did he hissed deeply as his leg was hit in the wrong spot causing it to throb before the blood began to seep into the bandage around it.

"First you go happily running off with that damned bastard now this? You got a problem or need someone to take some punches by all means I'm right here, leave the kids out of whatever issue you are having." Oh this was rich Mizuki thought as he looked at the male before him "Yes Thalion you are here" He said with a glare "But only because the children needed you!" He hissed to him before standing now not caring that his leg dripped blood the anger making him move.

"What about when I needed you?" He asked him with a tilt of his head as he took a step forward "Where were you then? You were hiding because of something that was to hard to deal with!" He said as he yelled mere inches from the males face "No instead I am left to my own doings like usual" He hissed before moving past the fuming male "I am sick of you claiming to care then when I need you there the most you are no where to be seen" He hissed as he limped past Thalion.

Stopping at the door he growled though he didnt turn as he spoke "I dont know what happened in your past Thalion because you wont let me" Mizuki said in a curse "How can I be expected to help you if you wont let me?" He said before he turned a little and looked at him though the male stood where he was left "To make your wish true..." Mizuki said "I will have no contact with any of you until this is finished" He spoke in a cruel hiss before he cast his spell and he was gone from the room.

Mizuki knew that if he was to turn and leave out the door that he wouldnt get fair before the pissed off male in question fallowed him. No right now he needed to do some research of his own. since he was not getting the answers he wished from Vaden he would have to seek them out himself.

He was running he knew that. He couldn't... he couldn't stand up against the man that Mizuki seemed to trail around. He hissed a little before he punched the wall after a moment. "Tsk fine thats what he wants then by all fucking means." He growled before walking past Vaden. He did easily catch up to Mizuki in the hall but he never stopped.

No he walked past the limping male and was giving him what he requested. He wanted to not speak so be it. If Mizuki called out to him he'd ignore it and just keep walking. Though Belquiri was in the hall and saw the too of them for the brief second they were side by side. Her heart swelled that things were ok. Though as Thalion kept walking she frowned. Thalion even walked past her as he went out of the doors soon after.

Her ears dropped a little before looking at Mizuki who seemed to keep walking with his limp. She started to go to him to help him walk towards him but stopped as she drew back a little remembering what he told her last time. She wanted to help it was written on her face as she stood there but she feared Mizuki barking at her again.

Soon enough the hours turned into the evening again and Vaden found what he was looking for to explain to Mizuki what he needed to before or was demanded to. It was a old tome, records of the royal family. He soon enough found the male in the library going through a bunch of books like he was going to find something so easily.

Walking over to the desk he placed the over sized tome in front of Mizuki before opening it to a page that he had marked. With the book open he stood there before getting a glare from Mizuki. "Tell me what you see on those pages." The pages were a list of each of the siblings Thalion should have, their date of birth eye color and everything most were blank on death because it was never updated to them dying the night of the raid.

Though what Vaden was pointing out was that it seemed the same date that Thalion was recorded being born the date of his death was added in the same handwriting like it was added the same day. Of course this couldn't be true as far as his death because it was weeks after the date of the raid. Either way he waited for Mizuki to make a connection here. Standing there with his arms crossed as he waited. Though it also showed that Vaden had said that late this week was Thalion's birthday as well when he said they might find out what Mizuki's master was up to before the weeks end.

Mizuki ignored everything around him as he made hi way down the hall limping as he went. Mizuki heard the footsteps behind him and he was waiting for the male to stop his walking and yell more though when Thalion just walked past him it took everything he had to keep the same limping pace that he had from before. If this was how things were going to be then so be it. Even as he walked past Belquiri and the female made an attempt to help he brushed it off. He knew there were words to say to the female but right now he couldnt bring himself to say them.

From there Mizuki headed to the royal library where all the records of both kings sat together. Mizuki was in search of something. He needed answers so with all the books that he could think of before him he did nothing but read. For hours and hours he sat there reading over dusty tombs and books though he was not finding anything that would help him. It was really starting to get on his nerves.

It was not until late that evening that there was a sound at the double doors forcing Mizuki to look up. Though when his eyes landed on Vaden he gave a little glare before he turned back down and began reading the page that he was on. However he didnt get a chance to finish this page as a large tomb was all but dropped infront of him "What on earth..." He began but didnt get a chance to continue as the male opened the book and showed Mizuki the marked page.

There was the page of Thalions family history. Down to the looks of siblings as well as his parents. Though the birthdates was something that drew his attention. However once his eyes fell on Thalions name then the date of his birth he frowned deeply. Beside the date of birth was also the date of death and they happened to be the same day. How was that possible? Clearly the male he loved was living yet here this book told him that Thalion died the day he was born.

Mizuki shook his head "I do not understand" He said to Vaden ad he looked up at the male "It says him to be dead yet we both clearly see him alive" Mizuki said "And...the same day of his birth" He said with a sigh as he rubbed his eyes "What on earth have I walked into" He asked to no one as he sat there. "Vaden..." Mizuki began but as he spoke his tone was tired and broken "Please...dont use riddles" He said in a whisper as he turned sad and tired eyes to the male "Explain to me why this is as it is" He said pointing to the birthdate.

He sighed a little keeping his arms crossed before speaking. "The Drow are not like most races, we hardly see it as a bad thing to offer someones life to please the god or goddess that we think we are on bad terms with. Not that such offerings help but it is more of the magic and rituals behind them that do the work to correct whatever is wrong." Or so the saying went, he never saw a purpose in using a life to get anything, it didn't solve anything doing so.

"Thalion was born with the sole purpose of maturing to the age of seven and being offered to get rid of the curse the elder dragon had placed on the royal family. Your master was the one who brought this ritual to light." He paused there letting the information sink in a little before going on.

"The raid happened a mere week before his seventh birthday, he had tried countless times to run away by that point and I'm not sure how he got away that night to be honest as his mother had resorted to keeping him locked up just to make sure he didn't escape or kill himself before she was ready to do so." The sad part was he had to sit back and watch this the whole time. Once he even ended up having to bring young Thalion back himself out of orders.

"But there you have your answers, Thalion fears that man and I don't know if it is misplaced fear or not. It seems a bit strange for him to show up this close to the date the young lord was born on out of the blue." Either way Mizuki had his answers so there was little else he could actually say. Though that book also said just how old Thalion was now as well if Mizuki was paying attention to that detail or not.

"did you know as a child he use to hide during that day? He told me once when he was little that if no one found him the day wouldn't happen. Thats how he got through that day was making out like it never came to pass." He only remembered that from back then because it was funny but sad at the same time. For someone to want to hide and not be found just to prevent the passage of time.

"But there you are my lord... you wished to know and now you do. Thalion is not avoiding you because he wants to. He is avoiding the one person that deemed his life to not be worth living."

Mizuki sat there looking at the tomb as Vaden spoke. He never knew such things about the male though how could he if Thalion didnt trust him enough to share such information. That in its self was a slap to the face. Though the more and more Vaden began to speak the more and more Mizuki wished it to stop yet not to at the same time. Vaden was right when he spoke earlier they were answers that Mizuki didnt like but in a way he was glad he had them.

This thought however died as Vaden continued to speak it was sad to know that Thalion his because of this. Mizuki didnt like his birthday because it was the death day of his parents though now he felt selfish as he thought of it. Thalion didnt like his birthday because it was supposed to be the day of his death. Mizuki couldnt begin to think how he would feel if knew his fate down to such an extent. To know that your soul purpose in life was born just to die...it pained his heart more then he wanted to admit at the moment.

However the thought he had in the back of his made came fourth the more Vaden spoke. Yes he himself found it odd that his master had come fourth at a time like this. Out of no where and with no excuse other then to train the new king. No there was an underlining here that he didnt know about and it sickened him to think of. Maybe it was as Vaden claimed and it was ill timing. Looking down at the book he took note of Thalions birthday.

The date was fast approaching and would be there within the weeks time. If it was ill timing it was good timing. That right there made his thoughts continue down dark paths "Vaden..." Mizuki began as he sighed shaking his head a little "I...I really dont know what to do" He said in a cracked voice as he looked down at the tomb before him. "Part of me says to go with my master because of that sole fact that he is my master" Mizuki began lightly.

"Though more of me wants to side with Thalion and cast this male aside like nothing" He hissed out deeply as he stood up from his chair. "Either way..." He said "As it stands I can not take judgement with out proof and you know this" He spoke to the male looking at him "As much as the story of Thalions past pains me I can not banish Saevian with out just" He said sighing deeply.

Mizuki knew that there was somethings about the male that even he himself couldnt trust but without proof behind anything how could he make any actions? No he needed to find something to convict one or the other. However he didnt get a chance to speak anything more as a knock came to the door of the library "Enter" Mizuki said and watched as a guard did just that "Sir...master Saevian has sent for you" He said "With the message of training" The male said.

Mizuki nodded before he moved past the desk "Vaden...I dont know what to do or how to fix things" Mizuki said as he stopped beside the male "All I know is that I need to try and get all the information I can from him" He said lightly before he began to limp past the male "Even if that means my death" He said in a barely there whisper though Vaden caught it as the males ears dipped as Mizuki left the room.

Vaden listened to Mizuki before he nodded a little. "It is your choice my lord. I was just doing as you requested." He started to advise Mizuki that if his master was planning something then waiting till the last moment would make things unpreventable. Though he knew Mizuki by now and he would not take such words to heart without the proof he wanted.

Either way he listened to Mizuki speak and respected what the other said. Though he had learned over the years to trust his heart and gut feelings above everything. Mizuki knew something was wrong or he would not second guess himself. He just hoped things were righted before it was too late.

Even as the other spoke of his death Vaden breathed out a little being left in the room alone. Mizuki's death meant Thalion would die as well. Though all he could do now was stand back and see where things went. Stepping in might cause a fight and between two elder mages that would not be a good thing in the least.

Thalion once more went to avoiding the castle, Mizuki and everyone. Damien and Belquiri visited him the most, Bel bringing news from things going on as she pleaded for him to talk to papa. He refused. What purpose did it have? Mizuki wanted to train so be it. Besides that a week had passed by now and it was a few mere days till the date he was dreading.

Though Belquiri could not bring her young sibling out this way for his safety so Thalion only agreed to go back for a day to see the poor child who was confused as to why Papa ignored him and dad was missing. He barely got to the training yard before he had a child clung to him. "Daddy!" The squeak came as he stayed glued to Thalion.

Moving he knelt to the child and hugged him there. Trying to explain things without making the young one worry. "Things will go back to how they were before.. i promise." Maybe a empty promise, but he wanted them to. More then anything he wanted Mizuki back...

After that a week had passed and things continued as they did. Day in and day out he trained and did his work and that was it. What other things did he have to do? Each day he trained he tried to pry information out of his master about why he was there though he got the same over and over and over and it was starting to get to him. Each time he tried he had a new wound or broken bone that came from each question he asked the male.

In a way he was giving pain for the answers that he needed. He needed to know about everything there was to know and yet he found himself no closer to the truth then when he began. It was frustrating to him and there was nothing that he could do about it! As it was now he left the training room his master seemed to see fit for days like to day. Though he asked the questions he wanted he never got an answer. No he only got pain and today was no different.

As a result to his questions Mizuki nursed a broken and crushed hand to his chest with a hiss as he walked down the path from the training room. Unlucky for him his master thought it was good to fallow him as he did. Even more unlucky was the fact that they passed the training grounds just as Thalion reached them. Turning his head a little as he walked he saw Amonar attach himself to the male as Belquiri stood to his side. At that moment the little group looked happy and it pained his heart that he was not there beside them.

"Would you look at that..." He heard the male beside him say before the man stopped "I do say its about time to see just how much young Thalion has learned." Saevain said before looking to Mizuki "Leave here and go do your work" The male said to him "If you dont you will wish that tomorrow would never come" He said to the male with a growl before he turned and started his way towards Thalion.

At those words Mizuki stood there but he knew the male was right. Weather Thalion wanted to believe it or not it was all he could do to keep the male alive. Mizuki knew that his master was not above taking lives even of his students. So in a way it was all he could do as he continued to walk to castle though as he did he passed Vaden on the way though he stopped "Go to the training grounds and make sure he dose not die.." Mizuki said before he continued to walk.

Mizuki knew that Vaden wouldnt question him and he was glad as the male merely nodded his head before heading to the field himself. In the mean time Mizuki would head to his study and continue his research on his master. There were some things that he still needed to know about the male and Mizuki was bound and determined to find out everything that he could before it was to late.

Vaden of course said not a word as he went to see what Mizuki meant. He had a bad feeling though something told him that they didnt have to worry about Thalion dying today. Maybe wounding the male enough to where he couldn't fight back or run later but aside from that. Belquiri had pulled her sibling off to the side by the time Vaden got there and she looked at the older male worried.

Thalion was tense, Mizuki could probably tell better then anyone that his heart was beating at least ten times faster then it should. It was like facing death in the face to him. Something he never mentally got over as a child. How could you when you knew this person had decided that your life was worthless. Though here he was with a blade drawn as Saevain had walked closer and Thalion sent Belquiri off with her brother.

Thalion remained silent as the older male stood there. "I have to admit I was rather surprised to hear your name come up after all of these years. Seems you were hiding in plain site." It was true Thalion never changed his name he just never laid claim to what was his birth right being the sole member of his family left.

Still no word from the other side as Saevain smiled, a evil smile but a smile none the less. "Come now, is that anyway to treat a old family friend?" Thalion growled a little. "Friend is not a word I would use for you..." Saevain shrugged it off. "As you wish... I just wanted to see something. I wanted to see what was left of the great fire mages legacy when he died. You are the last of his line after all surely you possess some power."

Vaden frowned a little at this. Of all people Saevain knew Thalion was young, his powers weren't even matured yet. What Thalion told Mizuki some time ago when Belquiri and Nytria were young was true. Not all races come into power the same way nor can training always help. "Tsk... humor you you mean? Like hell.."

Saevain seemed to grin at this as he made a motion towards the castle. "Come now do you hate me that much dear boy? You've even avoided Mizuki all of this time I have been here. Not that I can complain. No he has gotten quite a bit of training done without you here to hold him back." Thalion's ears went back a little the red flecks returning faintly as he stood there. So it seemed the curse was still there. Or anyone not really knowing the history of the royal family would think that.

This male was getting under Thalion's skin and after a while he got enough pokes and prods in that it turned into a fight. Thalion of course losing it first. About how he was holding the other back. He had been working to not do that. Surely it was a lie. But what if it wasn't. Self doubt suddenly kicked in as he blocked a small spell of some rocks flying towards him.

This fight wasn't anything serious, least the one side. Thalion knew he was going to lose but it was a bit late to think on it now. Though Mizuki probably knew the state of things as a sudden sharp pain ran along his spine after Thalion was slammed into the wall behind him as a vine thrashed a moment before hitting him into the wall a second time to press him there.

He was panting and he couldn't think well enough to cast a spell, not that it mattered as the fight was already over. Saevain walked over to Thalion keeping the spell in place as he stood there a moment. "You should have died with the rest of your family back then.. it would have made things easier on you. Instead here you are fighting a losing battle with nothing to show for it."

"Fuck you.." Thalion growled trying to free himself of the overgrown root holding him against the wall. A choice he regretted soon enough as another pain was felt with a slight twist of Saevain's hand as the root extended a new branch from it's main body and gashed his side rather well. Saevain grinned a little seeing the pain on Thalion's face. "Soon I won't have to worry about you whelp... you are a disgrace to your fathers name and a waste of air with each breath you draw."

Though with that he dismissed the spell and started to walk off. Probably to check on Mizuki to make sure that he was doing as he had told him to do. Bequiri flinched as the male walked past her as she made her brother stay with Vaden before going to Thalion's side as he stayed with his back to the wall holding the open wound to hold back some of the bleeding.

Fear wasn't the worse of the emotions. The realization the male was right. He couldn't defend himself.. he couldn't save Mizuki. What if he was better off back then to just die. None of this would be here. But others would be better off right? He breathed out sharply before Belquiri grabbed him to keep him steady and on his feet. "come on.. that needs to be taken care of." Worry heavy in her voice, she had seen Thalion lose before but that was... he didn't have a chance.

Mizuki had reached his study but just in time for the sharp pain to ring through his back. This caused him to gasp as he leaned on a near by wall to steady himself. Then the pain came back fallowed shortly by the pain in his side and he hissed. It would seem as though the fight his master wanted to start did in deed take place. Mizuki was worried as he felt the emotions come through the link. It was a combination of hate and fear but the fear seemed to be the thing he felt the most.

How was Mizuki going to correct what was happening? He didnt know and it pained him so deeply that he couldnt do anything. That was Mizukis thinking anyways as he moved from the wall with harsh breaths until he reached the chair behind the desk. Sitting he let out a heavy breath but he didnt get a chance to think any more as the door opened and closed. Looking up Mizuki frowned as Saevain walked in and stood infront of the desk.

"Seems to me that there is more play at work here then what first met my eyes" Saevain hissed and Mizuki looked up to him to him "What do you mean?" He asked though at this the male glared at him "You know what I mean!" He hissed and Mizuki flinched a little at that "It seems as though that drow still holds his fathers curse" He said deeply. Though with this Mizuki wanted to object and tell the male all the trouble they went through to end the curse.

Mizuki though knew better then that so instead he kept his mouth shut "You know you are dooming your self the longer you stay with him" Saevain said "Whatever puppy love you may of had for the male needs to end and it needs to end now" He said glaring at Mizuki as he stood there before him. Mizuki though shook his head at this. His master could give him any punishment he wanted for his words to come "Say all that you want" Mizuki said "I could care less if in the end I die at his side. True love dose that to a person!"

Saevain glared as he cast a spell and Mizuki couldnt help the yell of pain as the wood from the chair covered his crushed hand and squeezed it. "Love...what do you know of love?" The male asked as he moved and sat on the desk infront of Mizuki "Love...is everything" Mizuki said in pants "It pushes me to continue even when I cant" Mizuki hissed glaring up at his master though that glare died as the wood tightened on his hand making him yell out again.

"Love is the one thing in this world that can ruin a whole kingdom over night" Saevain said before standing "It is the one thing in this world that can make even the most powerfull of men fall to their knees and here you are claiming your love for a piece of shit drow that should of died over sixty years ago!" With that Saevain back handed Mizuki "If I was you boy I would realize just who is holding you back and who is pushing you forward" He hissed before he ended the spell and left in a huff.

Those thoughts were many of dark ones that began to cloud an already dark mind as Mizuki sat there in the dark room alone holding his hand to his chest. Even after everything Mizuki knew that he loved Thalion and that would never die. Though the more he thought about it the more his thoughts began to turn on him. Even though his love was still there did Thalion feel the same? The male had been so distant and far since this all began Mizuki didnt know what to think.

A few days passed as Thalion was forced to stay to recover. That wound was a good one and letting it rip open was not the brightest of ideas. He hated it though, he hardly got any sleep with feeling like he was being watched. Though he was a lot of times. Vaden had made a point to stay close by not liking where all of these seemed to be going. With power came corruption and there was a lot of reasons why there were not many elder mages in the world.

Though this thought also dawned on Thalion. That fear he was going to get killed. He couldn't do anything against the other male. Inexperience and age crippled him against someone like Mizuki's master. Though there were tomes in the study. Old ones, ones of one time spells or ways to counter stronger spells with weaker ones. Surely something there could end this or at least make the other back off. He just needed him to back off a little longer. He had a few days left before the date he was dreading with every fiber of his being.

Once he was allowed he got up and headed for the study to look into something, anything. Though it bothered him feeling nothing from Mizuki. Did the other even care any more? Surely he did right... after everything they had been through. Maybe he was wrong all of this time. He cringed at the thought and the number of doubts in his mind. The one time he needed Mizuki at his side to support him and he walked alone.

Though he should have known better then to go to the study. Mizuki lived there near about. He prayed he would be alone and allowed to do whatever research he needed to do before Mizuki got there. Though he somehow doubted that was to be the case.

After that day a few more passed and Mizuki found himself once again a study reading over more books. He had gone through every book he could think of to get answers to the questions that he had but the more he looked the more he felt as though he was over looking something. That feeling rested with him no matter what he did. Mizuki couldnt explain it and he didnt know why.

With that thought Mizuki locked himself away in the study with all the free time he had. The training with Saevain had become more and more of a challange now that his master thought the curse still rested with Thalion. It was in the males eyes that he would train Mizuki so when that day came Mizuki could prevent or stop what was to come. However Mizuki knew that all the training was for not but he fallowed his masters wishes to keep up appearances.

Mizuki sighed as he rubbed his eyes. He had spent the last couple hours in the study reading over the same dusty book that rested before him. Just as he finished the last page the door to the study opened and Mizuki looked up. Though the person that was standing there was the last that he thought that he was going to see. Sighing a little he stood keeping his bandaged and healing hand to his chest as Thalion realized he was there as the male stopped walking. Looking to Thalion he moved around the desk though neither of them said a word.

Okay so he couldnt even say hello? How long has it been since he saw the male before him? Mizuki had lost count on the days either that or he didnt try to keep track. What was the point in it? He had the thought in his head that Thalion didnt care so why should he. However the fact that Thalion did not move or say anything made matters worse and he couldnt help the words that came from pale lips "It seems even now I stand your in way" Mizuki said in a hiss.

It was true though and Mizuki knew that. No matter what he did he couldnt get the thought of his head that he stood in the males way and yet here was a prime example of it. Moving Mizuki headed for the door "I will...just as you wish" He said in a little growl as he reached for the door handle with his good hand. Mizuki was going to leave and let the male have the study there was other things that he could do besides feeling unwelcomed from the one man that he wanted to be beside the most.

Nope it seemed his hope to be alone was one that was too good to expect. Seeing Mizuki there he all but froze. It had been a while when he last saw the other. Their last words were... that one day that Nytria and Bel seemed to beg him to fix Papa. They never spoke after that so some weeks ago now. How long was this going to last even? They couldn't go on forever without speaking and they were dragging the kids into the middle of it all. Hell why was he even still here it was far safer for him to just leave Mizuki to his master were the other male seemed to want to be.

Though they both seemed to be silent for a moment before Mizuki stood finally and spoke that even now he was in his way. What was that? "Oh don't start with me-" He was saying but the other started to say something else as he moved towards the door. Though the comment Thalion made seemed to make Mizuki say something else.

Something along the lines of start what and it was hard to start something with someone who was never here. That was the final straw right there. Thalion had enough going on and enough doubts he didn't need this from Mizuki right now. Nor was he about to let the other just walk out and leave just like that. Grabbing Mizuki he slammed the other's back into the wall and held him there.

A easy enough job with Mizuki's hand the way it was. "And where have you been all this time huh? Don't go trying to blame this all on me Mizuki." He growled as the other seemed to protest and try to free himself from the wall though Thalion made sure he wasn't going anywhere. Mizuki saying he was here. "Here are you? Here where? Our kids keep coming to me saying you never speak to them, they can't even get near you because of that damned bastard you are with." It was about that time the flecks seemed to return. Though they weren't what Mizuki's master thought they were.

They looked similar and it could pass as the curse being there still or returning. Either way it showed his temper a bit at the moment as well as the link between them. "Or is that it..." He started standing there a moment as he took a step back from Mizuki letting him go altogether. "You must like what he does to you or you wouldn't keep going back." He started as he stood there a mix of anger and hurt in his mind.

Mizuki didn't seem to answer him as he hissed a little. "Thats it then isn't it? All of these years I was too damn nice to you. I cared too much and this is where it got me. To be replaced by some bastard who wants nothing better then to see me dead." He hissed and ignored any protests Mizuki had or whatever Mizuki was saying at all for that matter.

Screw it he was tired of being toyed with and lead on. Grabbing Mizuki he forced he to move and pressed against the desk leaning over him and keeping him bent over it. "I'm almost sorry I saved you from the damned fae lord now. You probably were in fucking heaven there. Being told what to do and no cares in the world... hell you probably like being treated as a slave and beaten if you speak out of term."

"Oh don't start with me-" He heard Thalion begin and he frowned at that "Start what?" He asked "How can I start anything if your not even here?" Mizuki said with a hiss a hiss to male. Though he didnt have a moment to say or do anything else as he was turned and forced into the wall "And where have you been all this time huh? Don't go trying to blame this all on me Mizuki." At those words he growled deeply. He was not placing blame on anyone of them. How could he? Mizuki knew he was at fault here just as the male before him.

"Thalion stop this!" Mizuki hissed as he struggled against the male before him. With only one good hand it was a challenge to say the least. "I have been here this whole time its not my fault you choose to stay away from me!" He hissed glaring deeply at the male before him. Though this was when Thalion spoke again in a deep growl "Here are you? Here where? Our kids keep coming to me saying you never speak to them, they can't even get near you because of that damned bastard you are with."

That at least was true. Even though he was here Mizuki couldnt think of the last time he saw the kids now that he thought about it. Though his thoughts ended as once again the red flecks seemed to return to Thalions eyes. Was the curse coming back? Had they failed after all these years? Mizuki was worried that he had that they both had but at the same he knew that his thinking was wrong.

Though this was when Thalion let him go and took a step back as he started to explain that Mizuki must like the treatment his master put him through to keep going back. Oh that was it "I KEEP GOING BACK BECAUSE OF YOU!!" Mizuki screamed at you "To find some way some small piece of information that I can use against him to save you!" He hissed to the male "All the pain all the suffering I go through every day is for you!" Though his words seemed to fall on deaf ears as he spoke.

"Thats it then isn't it? All of these years I was too damn nice to you. I cared too much and this is where it got me. To be replaced by some bastard who wants nothing better then to see me dead." ...what was Thalion saying? The male before him really didnt think like that did he? "You have got to be kidding me!" Mizuki said to him though once again his words were unheard as Thalion seemed to have other plans in his mind.

This was when he was forced from the door and even though he struggled as hard as he could and protested as loud as he could he found himself face down bent over the desk with the male behind him holding him there. "Thalion I swear to the gods you better let me go!" He hissed though Mizuki knew that his words meant nothing to the male behind him at the moment. Not with the emotions coming through the link he could tell the male was not going to stop what he was doing.

However Mizukis struggles stopped dead as the male spoke again "I'm almost sorry I saved you from the damned fae lord now. You probably were in fucking heaven there. Being told what to do and no cares in the world... hell you probably like being treated as a slave and beaten if you speak out of term." Did...did Thalion really regret coming to save him? All the torture and pain he went through was just thrown back into his face and it hurt more then anything Mizuki could explain to anyone at the moment.

Though the words seemed to stop there as he felt one of Thalions hands move and his eyes widened. Oh hell no! "Thalion!" Mizuki yelled as he struggled again against the male though he hissed deeply as his crushed hand was grabbed and forced into his back along side the other one "Thalion dont do this!" He screamed but nothing was heard as the male continued on as he had planned. Even through his struggles and pleas the male didnt stop.

The pain and anguish that came from this action was more then Mizuki could bare as he broke down. He didnt have a choice. With his hand the state it was in he could only do so much in his struggles and even those after awhile died. His words were pointless as were his struggles. In the end Mizuki just gave up and took everything the male had to give. Even as Thalion stepped away breathing harsh as he seemed to finish Mizuki stayed as he was.

This was a time he cursed his robes and sore to himself they would no longer cover his body. It was not until he heard the foot steps of the male and the door open and close did he move and even then it was to fall to his knees as the tears came harsher then when the act took place. Was that all he was good for to the male? A way of release? Maybe he was better off if he was left to the faes at least then the spell would keep his mind from the pain he felt.

Mizuki didnt move from that spot and he didnt know how long he sat there where he fell. It was not until the door opened and closed did he bother moving and that was just his head as he looked to see who was there "My dear boy..." He heard as Saevain walked into the room. "I told you pain would be the only thing to feel as long as you stayed with him" He said as he walked over to him and knelt down before him "All will be well soon" He said taking a book out of his robes and giving it to Mizuki.

Mizuki just looked down at the tattered book that rested in his lap. "Its...food for thought" The male said as he reached a hand up and brushed away some tears that still fell from Mizukis eyes "Its a way to be free" He said with a smile before he stood and left the room. Everything was going according to his plan and Saevain smiled as he left the room and closed the doors behind him. It was a book of old magic. Something that would aid himself in his quest and finally get rid of the drow male.

He didn't stop. He should have and he told himself to but he didn't. He never said a word as he left Mizuki where he was. What the hell did it matter? Mizuki said he did all of this for him and put up with that bastard for him. Like hell he did. If he did all of this for his cause then why was the one Mizuki was trying to spare Thalion from in the castle with the other and not Thalion. Weeks upon weeks had went by and nothing changed. This was the second time they had spoken, well third if you count the first meeting. From what Mizuki's master first got here.

Though now it was late into the evening and once more he found himself alone with his thoughts as he cringed at what he even did. Out of everything... he knew better out of anyone he knew better. After what Mizuki had been through with the fae and what Mizuki had done to him himself once before. He just did something he couldn't take back and he was going to pay for it with having no way to make amends for it.

He couldn't go back. Mizuki would never hear him out and he didn't deserve to be heard out to be honest. Maybe Saevain was right and he was a waste of the damned air he breathed. Fine then... he'd remain away from the male. For both of their sakes. All he did was cause things to be worse and now he knew for a fact he had ruined any chances of things being right again.

The next few days passed and even Belquiri couldn't locate where Thalion had all but vanished off to. It was the day that Vaden had been waiting for something to happen. Though if Thalion couldn't be found maybe there was some stock in what a child told him all those years ago. His other fear was that Saevain had Thalion. Though he doubted the other would do anything to risk all the work he spent on Mizuki by just killing Thalion. No something else was afoot here.

The few days after meeting in the study gave Mizuki time to make up his mind and if he was going to go through with the spell in the book it also gave him time to gather everything he needed. Belquiri stayed out in the courtyard with her younger sibling. She didn't feel right, something felt so wrong about today and it worried her. Almost three days when she last saw father and there was no way to get answers as Mizuki was kept from contact with any of them. Even Luna was unable to get in touch with the male. Of all people she would have been able to talk sense into him.

Though by this time Thalion had made his choice as well. He was tired of running from a damned date. Knowing Saevain he had some means of sparing Mizuki if he killed Thalion. So be it.. he was going to make the damned elder mage remember his name for years to come. That was the thought without knowing any plans. If he failed in the fight so be it, he knew he would. He was walking to his own death and he didn't even seem half as scared of this fact as he should be. No in fact he was looking forward to it. He didn't have to run after it was over with and he didn't have to worry about hurting Mizuki or holding the other back.

His only regrets was that if he failed he wouldn't be there for the kids. He had left a note with the young dragon to give to Belquiri later that evening. Telling her to look after her brothers because Papa wasn't able to and that he was sorry if this note got to her it meant he had failed them. Though the end of it was that he always would love them even if he didn't always show it or didn't seem to have the time. Just as he would always love their Papa and someday they'd be a family again. If you believed in the afterlife anyway. It was a nice thought.

Either way he had his plans for Saevain, he was going to show this damned mage who he was picking a fight with. Who knows maybe even if he was killed he could get a fatal strike off to do the mage in as well. Nit likely but it was worth a shot, he wasn't just going to roll over and let him continue toying with him and calling him a failure. He might be one and everything he said might be true but damn it he was going to hold his own as long as he could.

The days continued and as they did Mizuki read the book his master gave him and he couldnt believe what the book held. It was a way to end the link between them. To undo all that was done with the ritual. With the thought of the males words in his head Mizuki thought it was best that Thalion would be happier and better off if they were not connected. At least it was his thinking and that was all he thought. He didnt think of the effects of the spell he had.

So because of that for the past couple days or so he gathered everything that was needed to do the spell and he locked himself away in a place few knew of. He rested in a secret room in the library at the back of it with his book and everything he needed. He knelt there on there on the floor with everything infront of him though he was hesitating. He loved Thalion more then anything in this world but he couldnt shake the words the male said to him.

Was he better of left back in the fae world? Did the male really regret coming to get him? Thalion would of been better off here with the two kids alone. He should of forgotten Mizuki when he had the chance to. At least this was his thinking. The day was that of Thalions birthday and Mizuki thought this to be the perfect gift for the male. When the spell was done Mizuki would leave and vanish from everything he knew.

Letters sat on the desk behind. Each one addressed to different people that he cared for. Each of the kids had one, Thalion and others as well. All explaining things that he couldnt say in person. It was a heart renching feeling knowing what he was about to do yet he thought it to be the only way. Mizuki sighed deeply to himself as he opened the book to the page of the spell. "Im sorry Thalion...for everything that I have done to you and the kids" He said to an empty room "At least now you dont have to suffer"

With those words said to an empty room a tear slid down his cheek as Mizuki began the spell. He began the words first before he began to make the potion infront of him. All the while he ignored the pain his body seemed to go through as he didnt think anything of it. He had a mission in his mind and he didnt to complete the spell.

Something was wrong. The link seemed to snap as soon as Mizuki started the spell. Not only that a sudden pain ripped through him and he nearly ended up falling to the ground fully. Barely catching himself as he stayed on one knee holding his chest with a heaved breath. "The hel..." His word was cut off as he heard foot steps.

Something told him he knew who it was, why bother looking. He knew and a slight twinge of fear grasped him at the thought. Though the voice seemed mocking as it spoke. "Having trouble?" Thalion growled at the words before forcing himself to his feet. "You'd love me to say yes would't you?" He growled at the male before him.

"Hrm... I would, but I don't need you to as my plans seem to be in motion." Saevain said before giving Thalion a chance to retaliate against him as a root burst forth and slammed him into a wall. Soon after it retracted and Thalion cringed a little before managing to right himself. "That the best you got? You're going to beat me to death with a plant?" Thalion almost laughed but soon found he regretting laughing ad he coughed a little and some blood came up.

"Well.. thats not normal." Saevain seemed pleased with this development. "Ah yes.. seems that spell is taking effect nicely." Thalion glared at the other as he went on to explain. what he was talking about but not before casting another spell. Though this one Thalion blocked as he managed to reflect it back. Not that it did much good really.

"Ah yes a spell of undoing. That pain you're in is from the link between you and your 'lover' is being severed." The word lover seemed to be dripping with venom. Though there seemed to be more as he cast a spell of earth spikes from the ground and Thalion managed to avoid them. "He seemed quite happy to break the bonds between you two, you know you were just holding him back anyway... " The man laughed as Thalion seemed to get ticked at this and forced a spell forth.

Not that his rank of magic could do anything against Saevain. Hell it was all he could do to avoid attacks. Though he didn't avoid the next one that was cast after the male before him spoke. "To think, so willing to be rid of you and those two children who are so poorly trained." That grin flashed on the elder males face as Thalion faltered and ended up being slammed into a wall again and a rock spike thrust from the ground into his shoulder soon after.

Belquiri and Nytria.. surely Mziuki wasn't... Though another rip of pain through his body told him the spell was still being cast. "Tsk.. fine then!" Thalion hissed before breaking the spike an pulling it from his shoulder so he could get free again. "Hell if I'm going to die what else do I have to lose then?"

He was serious in this as the flecks seemed to come back never changing in the amount each time. Though Vaden had heard the spell part. He just needed the name said and he was gone already to find the other. Though Vaden had ways of finding someone if he needed to. A good thing too or Mizuki would never forgive himself if he carried this out.

Getting to the study he looked around before finding a trail of Mizuki's energy leading to the secret door. Getting in was easy for the older mage as he walked the stairs down to where Mizuki was preparing the spell. He seemed stern in his look at the moment as he spoke not caring if it disrupted the spell. "Do you know what you are doing?" Mizuki spoke he did and it was better for Thalion this way.

"Better? So it is better to kill someone then for them to live?" Mizuki seemed to pause at this. "Were you not told? This is a ritual of undoing, anything done will be undone. It is not light magic you are working with and it requires energy to complete it. If you continue you are going to kill Thalion let alone two of your children that were made through the link." He said keeping a bit of a stern tone.

"Do you know where Thalion is right now? He is fighting Saevain. All knowing he has no chance in hell freezing over to win against a mage of that level. His own age ensures he will not win this fight and you are down here casting a spell hastening that death." Vaden waited a second before speaking again. "What you choose to do next is your choice, but you better decide quickly." With that he turned to start heading back out. He wasn't going to stand by and leave Thalion to die if he had a say in it. Though he figured Mizuki would follow him to be honest. He doubted Mizuki knew the truth of that spell.

All the while Saevain was fighting Thalion. Though it seemed Saevain had been on the defensive. With the link disrupted for the moment between Mizuki and himself he didn't have to hold back. If he killed himself so be it he was going to die from something today anyway. There were countless scorch marks on the ground and walls. Let a lone some smaller blazes where the spells had missed their target or were avoided or reflected.

Though Thalion was hardly in any shape to keep fighting as he stood there panting. Bleeding form a number of wounds where he missed avoided a spike or Saevain used a small stone as a projectile. Plus all the spells on top of it he hissed a little before falling to one knee. "Giving up so soon?" Saevain seemed to taunt as he cast another spell. Though Thalion used a trick similar to what he used against Ryza to avoid a strike as he forced himself back with the force from the spell.

"Seems you do have some tricks yet. Pity the efforts are a waste." Saevain spoke taking a step forward before having to back off as Thalion slammed a hand against the ground and a burst of fire spread from there in a line towards Saevain if he didn't' side step it. Though this only encouraged Saevain to cast once more as Thalion used the same trick again and seemed to be running more then low on energy.

Saevain cast once again with some boulders being pulled from the ground as a final spell Thalion had was to force a fire wall strong enough to block the boulders and rocks from connecting with their target. Though a follow up spell soon followed as a root whip slammed into Thalion and slammed him against the wall once more as he fall forward soon after the impact and cringed forcing himself to a knee. He started to try and stand but quickly found that not likely as he hissed at the other. "Tsk... is that it?" He growled before quickly casting a spell. though it was one he shouldn't be able to pull off.

It was a quick spell but a stronger one none the less. One that actually didn't give Saevain enough time to block or avoid it as it struck the older male and left a nice burn wound on his left arm taking care of some of the robe as well. Though that was all he managed as he stayed where he was panting and half wincing as he coughed again and some more blood came up with the next breath. He hated that! All of this trouble and he had managed one damned spell to hit.

Mizuki sat there as he worked and he didnt expect to be bothered so least to say he was shocked when he heard foot steps coming down the stairs was an understatement. It was not until Vaden spoke to him did he bother looking to the older male. This was when Vaden asked if he knew what he was doing and Mizuki frowned "Yes...its better this way" Mizuki said "Thalion will be free of me...just as he wishes" Mizuki said in a heart renching tone as he continued on.

"Better? So it is better to kill someone then for them to live?" At that Mizuki stopped what he was doing. What did Vaden mean by that though he got his answer as the male continued to speak "Were you not told? This is a ritual of undoing, anything done will be undone. It is not light magic you are working with and it requires energy to complete it. If you continue you are going to kill Thalion let alone two of your children that were made through the link."

At that he stopped everything that he was doing even down to the mental chant he had been doing. Would it really kill Thalion and his children? That thought sickened Mizuki and he couldnt believe what he was about to do. Though as Vaden spoke again as to what and were Thalion says before saying it was his choice Mizuki knew right then what needed to happen even as Vaden moved and left the room. With that thought in his mind Mizuki stood from where he was.

Mizuki needed proof to stop the male and this was all the proof that he needed. He had searched and searched and yet the proof was right before him! Oh how Saevain was going to pay for everything! With that thought Mizuki ran out the door. He could feel the lack of energy that came from Thalion fighting as well as the pain from each wound that the male seemed to get but that didnt stop his foot falls even as he ran past Vaden.

No Mizuki had something to correct and he was going to do just that. Running as fast as he could he passed many in the halls and more then one seemed to fallow him as he did. He was hoping to any god that were there that he would make it in time to save the one thing in this world that he couldnt live with out. Heading for Thalion he made it in time to see the spell that he cast and the result on his masters arm. Well I think its safe to say ex masters arm.

Mizuki didnt think twice as he continued to run towards them and just as Saevain cast another spell. 'Please let me make it in time!' Mizuki said to himself as he watched the male cast his spell and Mizuki knew what spell it was. "THALION!!!!" Mizuki yelled as he reached the male and cast his own spell. Ice covered his arms as he stood infront of the male and blocked the stone spikes that headed right for him. Stone clashed into ice and Mizuki hissed as the ice cracked before a spike broke though and right through his arm causing him to yelp in pain.

He knew he was pushing it. Not only because of the lack of energy he had but as well as the still healing hand. He knew that he would have to treat it better after this. Mizuki had to rebrake the bones once why not another time right? Though his thoughts ended as the spell did before him. Panting heavy he looked to Saevain as the male growled at him "I gave you one simple task and yet that seems to be to hard of a thing for you to do" The male said.

Mizuki growled at this "You knew exactly what that spell held and yet I still believed your lies!" He said in a hiss as he looked to him. Saevain growled a little at this "It was simple...all you needed to do was complete the spell and I would of been rid of the waste of space behind you!" The male hissed and Mizuki growled at this "He is not a waste of space!" Mizuki yelled at him. This was it and Saevain was about to hear everything Mizuki had to say.

"He is my husband and father of my three beautiful children!" Mizuki yelled as he cast his spell and charged. Both his arms covered in ice blades as he ran towards the male dodging wooden and stone spikes as he did "He is the one I would do anything for!" He said as he slashed at the male watching as every hit was either blocked or dodged with ease "You told me kingdoms fall because of love...this one was created out of it!" Mizuki yelled as he managed to slice across the males cheek.

"Everything I ever loved and cared for was almost destroyed by my own hand because I was to stupid to give you a fair chance!" He yelled out as he continued his attack. "I trusted you and lived by your word. Teaching my son the way I learned and for what!?" Mizuki yelled "To throw it all away with a stupid moment where I trusted you!?" Mizuki was pissed. It was one thing to toy with him but to toy with his family was asking for death and the male before him toyed so much he almost lost three of them in one go.

Being forced back for a moment Mizuki stood there panting "Thalion is my heart and my soul. No matter the struggles we face or the troubles we deal with I know that no matter what is said or done at the end of the day his love is still there..." He said before turning his head and looking to Thalion the beaten male in the same place as before "...and mine is as well" He said as he looked at him though his gaze went back to Saevain before him.

"You are willing to let your kingdom fall for a good for nothing low life drow?" Saevain asked with a hiss and Mizuki growled "No" He said and at this Saevain seemed to smirk "I would destroy the kingdom I had if it meant even a few more minutes with the man that will forever hold my heart!" He said in a growl as he attacked again. Mizuki knew that his energy was failing and it was everything he had to keep pushing himself on.

By this time though a group seemed to gather off to side lines. Many of which had fallowed Mizuki to the fight. Luna, Needren, Felix, Damien, Vaden...the list went on and on though Saevain didnt seem to take notice until he made a stupid comment "You think you can defeat me!?" The male asked as he stood there "You are alone in this battle boy!" He yelled though as he did something else happened.

Almost instantly as those words left the males lips others seemed to come to his aid. First it was Luna as the female stood there "Hes not alone" She growled and the male before them smirked "Oh...one dragonoid will not help him any" He said though his smirk began to die as he watched the scene before him. Vaden was next "I am sorry old friend though I side with the young lords" Mizuki heard and this was fallowed by Needren "As do I" He said and by that time more and more began to join him until the male was circled by people.

Mizuki panted as he stood there almost unable to move "A kingdom built out of love is saved by it" He told the male before him "You tried your hardest to break me and my home" He said in a deep hiss "That is one thing that will never be forgiven!" He hissed and as he did everyone around him seemed to attack the male at once. "Keep him alive but take his staff...I have plans for him" Mizuki said before he took a deep breath and stepped back. Turning he looked to Thalion and taking some steps towards the male he stopped as he fell to his knees with a gasp. Okay so moving right now was not smart.

He was prepared for the final blow. Hell he couldn't move really so what choice did he have in it. He had no energy to spell case and it was almost all he could do to just keep himself steady enough to keep from bowing to the damned bastard before him. Like hell he'd rather take the last shot to the head then to lower himself any further and allow the satisfaction of it.

He hated thinking this was it but everything screamed at him that it was. Till he heard someone all but scream his name. Before he even had time to look up Mizuki was between him and the spell that would have finished this. What was... why was Mizuki here? great something else to go wrong was his tired minds excuse as to what the other was doing here let alone protecting him.

Though he didn't get to question this as Mizuki seemed to take over in the fight. Not that he was going to complain now that was for sure. No instead he watched as the other attacked Saevain and spoke. Though it was words he hardly felt he deserved hearing after everything. He had half looked forward to this being the end of it.

But Mizuki was right. This kingdom was built because they didn't want to be apart. It had flourished and grown over the years and even through the fights the two managed to keep things together in the long run. Even managing to keep a family and raise it through all of the chaos. Yet this one person had nearly managed to destroy all of that...

Never the less Saevain seemed to think Mizuki was alone. To be honest with Saevain beaten a little as he was Vaden could have probably taken care of the other with enough ease. Though it was a sight to see. Everyone still backing the pair of them through every stupid or wise choice them made over the years.

Though after that the fight seemed to be over. He was half out of it or mostly by then anyway. Saevain was captured alive at Mizuki's request and Mizuki seemed to start to go over to where Thalion still was. Though it seemed they were both a bit worse for wear.

Not that it mattered. By this time Thalion gave up on staying awake. Everything hurt and the flecks were still there. Something Vaden actually could explain if asked. None the less Thalion was out of it. He had a right to be though, probably the most spells he ever bothered to cast in one setting in a long while if not ever. Plus the wounds on top of it all and the link taking back over as far as connecting like it should have been.

Everything said and done they were both taken to the medic ward. Mizuki seemed to at least stay awake. Though probably concerned he had gotten there too late in the end. It was close to be honest. Nothing the medics and healers couldn't take care of but the energy loss still was something to contend with.

Vaden stuck around just in case anything else Mizuki could think of popped up though Mizuki seemed to bring up the red flecks. Vaden was there the say the curse was lifted. He waved it off saying it was hardly the curse coming back.

"Each magic type is different. As well as the races that use them. Given how old Thalion is his magic powers actually aren't matured, the flecks are normal." He seemed to think on this a little before crossing his arms. "A bit early.. they shouldn't be showing up for another .. forty some years give or take a few." He shrugged a little hardly seeming too concerned about it.

Though it had been a few hours from when they were dragged here after the fight. By this time Thalion seemed to come to again, probably waking up form the pain he was in. They could only treat so much when he was out of it. Though apparently he didn't remember too much near the end of things like the fight ending. He had half thought everything with Mizuki was a dream or something.

Either way he was up and the sudden jerking motion from sitting up was something he regretted right away as he double over. "that... tells me .. i'm not dead." He groaned a little his body making him pay for that sudden fast movement as he stayed there.

After everything that took place Mizuki was not shocked that Thalion had passed out before he could reach the male. No in fact he knew it was coming for the link told him how the male felt before him and besides the pain the energy loss was so great it was all Thalions mind could do but shut down. Either way Mizuki didnt care as he ordered the male to the medic ward as he himself was taken there as well.

Mizuki however much the medics fought him he didnt leave Thalions side. No he wanted to be there when the male awoke to hopefully explain or clear up any dark thoughts the male as well as himself may have. Even as Vaden seemed to join him Mizuki didnt move from the side of the wounded male. However now that he had the chance with Vaden at his side it was time he asked what he wanted to "Vaden...." Mizuki began before he moved his eyes from Thalion to look at him "After everything...did we fail to remove that curse?" Mizuki asked.

Though as Vaden shook his head and explained Mizuki smiled "So its not the curse...its him being him" Mizuki said with a little sigh as he turned his head and looked once more to the sleeping male. "Hes going to like me even less when I make him train that magic then" Mizuki said with a shake of his head. He was ready for any backlash the male may have against him when he awoke why not add something else to the mix an the conversation that was sure to happen.

After awhile of being in the room Mizuki was finally convinced from Neimi that he needed to be taken care of. He nodded his head and yet still didnt leave the room. Making her do anything she needed there he put off his bad hand for later that evening. It would take some time to rebrake and cast what was needed but until then he would live with the pain and throbbing. No he knew that it would take some time to do but he didnt want to be away from the males side for that long.

Mizuki was glad he didnt. Not long after Neimi left and the small conversation with Vaden began did Thalion even stir though it was something he was not expecting. The sudden motion from Thalion sitting up and gasping made him turn his head to the male sharply though he couldnt help but smile as Thalion spoke saying that the pain meant he was alive. Yes it did though... was that a good thing for Thalion? Looking to Vaden the male gave a nod before he stood and left the room.

Standing himself Mizuki walked over to the bed but stopped there at the edge of it. Mizuki didnt know if he should reach out and touch the male, sit on the edge of the bed or do just as he did. So he did one of the three and lightly sat down at the edge of the bed "Pain is the gods way of telling you your alive" Mizuki said in a soft voice as he looked to Thalion. This caused the male to raise his head and look to him though his words didnt seem to be done.

"Thalion...I...." but he stopped there as he turned and hung his head a little "Im sorry...for everything" Mizuki sighed a little "I wanted to give him a fair chance. In my eyes he was innocent until prooven guilty so I thought nothing about the spell he gave me" Mizuki said with a sake of his head. "After..." Here Mizuki paused for a moment before he continued "After that night I thought it was something you wanted. To be free from me" Mizuki explained lightly.

Here he paused a moment "I couldnt get the words you said out of my head" Mizuki said with a little growl "I wanted to make the one thing you wanted to happen happen so when he came to me and gave me that spell I thought nothing of it" Mizuki said with a shake of his head "If Vaden had not found me..." He said as he shivered "I...I dont know what I would of done" He said in a broken tone before standing. "I failed you in more ways then one and for that I am truely sorry Thalion" Mizuki said before he went to leave.

It was true, Thalion would need magic training and soon. Leaving him untrained wouldn't help things though they didn't have to rush it either. The flecks would go away, probably part of the curse but they weren't anything to be overly concerned with. The curse was lifted, by its caster no less so it was no threat.

Either way it took a few hours before Thalion even gave a hint of stirring and once he did finally was when Vaden left the two alone. After everything they needed to talk and it was now or never. It would be interesting to see what came of today at the end of it. Through it all things could very well pull through or they could stay apart as they had been.

Sure he heard voices or footsteps and everything but he was busy at the moment trying not to be ill from the pain. Not until someone sat on the edge of the bed and spoke. The voice he knew, not expecting it but he knew. Maybe he should expect it because that meant that the speech he remembered wasn't something his mind made up trying to comfort himself in the final moments.

"Well the gods suck.." He forced out, a expected response seeing his views on them. Though looking at the other he could tell Mizuki wasn't done. He was expecting.. well actually he wasn't sure what he was expecting to be honest. After everything and Mizuki of all people was sitting there. He wouldn't have blamed the other for finishing the ritual even if he knew what it would do. Maybe not to the extend of the children but at least to get back at him.

Listening to the other he turned his head a little as he spoke about the man that he wanted to be innocent. Thalion had enough proof that that man would never be as such. Not that Mizuki would have listened to him about it. Probably saying he was over reacting or something or things were different now. Though what hurt more was bringing up the last night they saw one another.

Something he couldn't take back and he wanted to. Everyday after that he wanted to take it back. But Mizuki said he thought he wanted to be free from him, that hardly was what he wanted. For the moment though he kept his thoughts at bay staying silent as Mizuki seemed to continue on. The other went on explaining why the spell was stopped even and that he didn't know what the spell did though his master made it seem like he did.

Yes.. it was good Vaden had found him. Things would not have ended well if he had not. It seemed the old man was owed a lot of dues by putting up with them both through it all. Though that was when Mizuki seemed to stand and start to walk off after saying he failed and he was sorry. Really he was going to just walk off? Thalion started to move to get up and go after him till he was reminded one of those damned spikes had hurt his leg.

Well fine then.. he thought before doing something a bit childish but it served its purpose as a pillow slapped Mizuki in the back. "You're going to say sorry and leave? Really?" He gave him a bit of a look before motioning for him to get back where he was. He waited till the other did just that.

"You didn't fail, he was your master, I'm sure there is a connection somewhere." He never had one so he wouldn't really know about it. "If I had told you from the beginning what was wrong instead of running maybe things would have been different. So you didn't fail.. heh" He said looking down a little before sighing at the thought of it.

"If anything I should be saying sorry, not that it takes anything I said or did back... you didn't deserve it. Even after everything you still ended up coming back when I didn't deserve being saved. It was just... it was all I could do to hold the kids together and you were constantly allowing yourself to be ordered around and beaten daily and there was nothing I could do or say to convince you otherwise."

He breathed out a little trying to relax the sudden tense state from thinking over it all. "Though you're a idiot.." He said before moving and handing him a small rolled paper. "I never got to give it to the damned dragon." It was the note when he was saying screw it all. Telling Belquiri to keep a eye on her brothers and that he still loved them and Papa no matter what happened.

"The last thing I will ever want is to be free of you.. I thought you were going through with the ritual because you wanted it. Having a distraction from your training and everything."

As Mizuki got up to leave he was expecting the male to just let him walk away from all of this. So least to say he was shocked as he heard the hiss of pain from Thalion as the male tried to move no less the pillow that hit his back. That caused him to stop and turn to look at Thalion. Though as the male got him to turn around and come back to the bed he picked the pillow up on the way. Walking back over Mizuki took his spot on the edge of the bed as he held the pillow in his lap.

This was when Thalion began to speak and Mizuki let the male do just that. He listened as Thalion explained that he didnt fail because it was his master and that if he didnt run things would of been different. It was true though it was a thought in the back of his head that if he had only known how or why the male hated his master it would of been different. Though that was a thought of the past and hew knew that it was. Even as Thalion continued to speak.

Shaking his head Mizuki gave a sigh "I went back because I had to" He said with a growl "By taking all his time he didnt set his eyes on others...." he paused a moment "...like the kids" He said with a shake of his head. Mizuki knew the way that the older male worked. Since the first day the male came and talked to him about his magic as well it was all he could do to keep the focus on him. "I knew...that if he found out about the powers the twins had let alone Amonars..." He said with a shake of his head.

"He needed to focus on something and I would rather go through that pain and knowing what was expected then to have them go through it....especially Amonar" Mizuki hissed a little "His age would of not stopped him" Mizuki huffed a little as his ears dipped down "Trying to save them I almost lost them." That right there was said in a broken voice one that showed his pain about everything. It was true though even though he tried to save them he almost lost them in the end.

However his words died as Thalion spoke again "Your an idiot..." At that Mizuki looked to him then down at the paper the male held out to him. Reaching out he took it and held it in his lap before he opened the little scroll. As he began to read his heart began to break with little pieces falling with each word he read. Thalion really had given up on everything.... the letter made the male seem so utterly defeated and the more he read the more it sunk in.

It was the final words from the male though that fully broke what was left of Mizuki "The last thing I will ever want is to be free of you.. I thought you were going through with the ritual because you wanted it. Having a distraction from your training and everything." As the male finished speaking Mizuki began to cry. His shoulders heaved as he breathed deep and hung his head deeper.

"I never wanted it..." Mizuki said after a little while "I broke my heart as I came ti the conclusion on what needed to be done" He said with a shake of his head "After our last encounter it was stuck in my head that you no longer wanted me" Mizuki said in a broken whisper as his ears dipped down as low as they could "...I couldnt help but think..." He said "...maybe you would of been happier if I was forgotten about in the land of faes..." He said as his voice hitched a little.

It was true though... it was the one thought that made him go through with everything. After all that the two of them went through and to have those words thrown in his face Mizuki only thought of one thing. How the male beside him would of been better to of just forgotten him and moved on. "You...you would been better off if..." he paused as he hiccuped a little "...If I never came back" He said as his good hand clenched into a fist in his lap.

"So I was going to correct that for you" He said with a little nod of his head "I was going to give you what you wanted or seemed to want" he sighed a little "After it was over I was going to leave" Mizuki said as his head dipped lower "I was going to leave you and the kids everything and just....vanish" Mizuki whispered lightly "I...I didnt know it would of undone everything...including the lives I loved so much" He shivered at the thought of it.

Thalion knew Mizuki was right. That bastard would have targeted the kids. Though it made him think if they had handled things differently that things would have gone so much better. He could have, no should have stayed and told Mizuki why he hated the man Mizuki seemed to trust. Maybe they could have stood against him and Mizuki wouldn't have had to do so alone as it seemed he did.

Not that it could be changed now. No it was already said and done with now. Everything was over and here they were. Not that it meant things were fixed. No, not after what happened the last time they were together. Things were hardly fixed just like that. If only things were that simple. Mending things over with the kids was so easy, they accepted apologies and the promises that came with them.

But nothing could change what he had done, even if Mizuki had done a similar act to him it didn't make ti right. Either way Mizuki seemed to break down as he read the letter that the dragon was suppose to give to Belquiri after it was said and done. He had given up. What else did he had left besides the children? All he could do was run and hide what example was that? Lt alone he had forced the one person away and hurt him in the same action. He really did plan today to be it.

Though as Mizuki spoke Thalion glanced away a little knowing well what weight his words he said that night carried. He had , he could have said anything else anything other then what he did but the words were out there already and it seemed to stick with Mizuki. Not that it wasn't the intention, but it was only the intention when he had nothing else he could do or grasp onto. He had hurt Mizuki in more then one way that night and he was doomed to live with that.

He swallowed a little as the other seemed to keep going. He was trying to hold back any emotions like he normally did. Though after a moment he finally said screw it. He was too tired still to care about holding them back and he had done this or planted this thought in Mizuki's head without meaning to. He shook his head finally before glancing away just to avoid looking at the other's face.

"If you had left and the spell wasn't corrupt. You know I would have looked for you right.." He said as his ears dropped a little at the thought before he wiped the tear that finally forced its way out. "heh.. your place is here. normally the kids go to you, what good would it have done for you to leave and leave them here?" Either way he breathed out a little trying to avoid turning into the sobbing mess Mizuki was at the moment.

"I would have never forgot. Even if... even if I still didn't know where you were I would never stop looking. What I said.. I didn't have the right to say that night You didn't deserve any of that. I knew why you were doing what you were doing and what you were going through and I still was furious at you when I had no right to be." He said shaking his head a little knowing he didn't.

"Everyday after that I wished to anything that I could take it back, all of it.Then today came around and I decided I was going to end all of this. " His ears dropped a little more as he seemed to drawn back a little at the thought. "I had hurt the one person that shouldn't have to have that fear. I couldn't deal with it, I'm still not really. In a way I'm kind of disappointed you spared me. A selfish wish to make things easier. I was going to die and I knew it but I was going to make that bastard remember..."

Though at that he paused a little before looking at Mizuki as a few tears dropped from eyes that were holding onto pain. "Why? I know you didn't want to go through with the ritual, but why save me? What I did and said I can't take it back! Let alone he's not wrong..." Meaning Mizuki's master. "Linked to me you are being held back, you know that. Hell you saw how that fight went I can't even protect myself from my own troubles let alone you or the kids. You did all of the protecting while I went and tried to hide from it all."

Mizuki sat there crying almost to himself before Thalion started speaking. As he said that if he left he would of looked for him Mizuki sighed. In a way he knew this and he would expect nothing else but at the same time he thought that after everything that had happened it was going to be the last thing that the male would want to do. It was a fear that Mizuki had that after everything it was over just like that.

This was when Thalion began to speak that what would happen if he left the kids here an that they came to him most of all. At that Mizuki couldnt help the little laugh that left pale dry lips "If I remember correctly..." Mizuki said lightly "They came to you because I would have nothing to do with them" He said though he cringed as he thought of it "I was so cruel to them...because I had to be" He said as he hung his head deeper. He could see the look of Belquiris face in his mind as he ordered the female to leave. It was the look of a breaking heart and it broke his in turn.

"You had every right to say what you did" Mizuki said "After everything that I did to you and ignored you..." Mizuki said as he shook his head "I thought I deserved more of those words of the harsh actions..." Mizuki cringed a little as he thought of what happened "I deserved it and then some" He said with a shake of his head "I should of told you why I did what I did...let alone I should of answered you the when you called my name that day" He said thinking about it.

From there though Thalion spoke on how he was taking the cowards way out and in a way he was. The male couldnt deal with what he had done so instead he was willing to throw it all away in one shot with out thinking about anything. He didnt think of the thought that if he was to die Mizuki would fallow him. That then would leave the children alone with a note from their dad but what of Mizuki? Where he was at the moment in time it would of taken some time to find him let alone he would of been dead when they did.

Looking to Thalion Mizuki stopped as the male looked to him though his heart wrenched at the sight before him. Those ember orbs were filled with such pain and sorrow it hurt to even look at the male but it was the words that fallowed that did it "Why? I know you didn't want to go through with the ritual, but why save me? What I did and said I can't take it back! Let alone he's not wrong. Linked to me you are being held back, you know that. Hell you saw how that fight went I can't even protect myself from my own troubles let alone you or the kids. You did all of the protecting while I went and tried to hide from it all."

That was it. Mizuki couldnt stop his next actions as a resounding slap echoed in the room as Mizuki watched the males head whip to the side as he slapped a dark cheek. "Why?" Mizuki asked him "I saved you because you are my everything Thalion and I dont know how many times I need to say that for you to understand it!" He growled deeply at the male "You are strong Thalion and you are one of the strongest I know" Mizuki said "I cant count how many times you have saved life or gave me mercy" He spat towards the male.

"I did see how it went but then I also know that if you had won that fight there would of been something wrong" Mizuki shook his head at this "Saevain is almost 1300 years of age and has seen many a war and battle" He said "With you being only in your sixties what chance did you have?" Mizuki asked him "You were walking to your death and you knew that" He hissed to him as Thalion looked at him when he said his age. Yes Mizuki knew and he also knew the males birthdate now so Thalion was forever doomed.

At that Mizuki sighed some as he dipped his head a little "You are a selfish self centered brat that thinks nothing of himself when the time needs thought else where" Mizuki said with a growl "When something dose not go your way you run and try to hide...well im sick of it" Mizuki said to him "You say that you are not strong enough to protect this family yet how do you know unless you try?" Mizuki said to him "Its kind of hard to try when you do nothing but run" Mizuki said in a low voice before he looked to Thalion.

"What would Bel say or do if you died?" He asked "Shes attached to your hip on a good day Thalion" He said with a shake of his head "Not only that but the boys...Amonar is to young to try and explain that daddy would never return or that papa went with him." At that Mizuki raised his head and looked at the male again "You need to realize Thalion that your strength alone is not the only thing that protects this family...its all of put together and the love we share that makes us strong" He said lightly "And once you realize that nothing will be able to beat you down."

They did come to him. Though it was only because Mizuki had pushed them away. Normally only Belquiri came to him with issues or concerns. Though that was probably because she pestered him daily to work with her in training. At the least whatever Mizuki had told them could be mended. They understood things or took them well and knew that Mizuki cared even if he was harsh to them. Rather Thalion made sure they knew. Even if in the long run he had let them down in saving Papa, heck it seemed this time Mizuki had come to his aid instead.

Though Mizuki spoke he had every right Thalion disagreed but kept his mouth shut for now. He did not. Even if Mizuki didn't tell him what was going on he had no right to do anything that he did nor did the other deserve more. He had suffered plenty at the hands of the fae, Mizuki was the last person who deserved more punishment.

When he finally did speak and question why he was even still alive and everything was when Mizuki finally seemed to lose it as the hand connected with the side of his face. He had asked for that in a lot of ways. Let alone the lashing that followed after it.

Heh that was a bad joke. The only times he saved Mizuki was when Mizuki was in chains. Any of the other times the mercy was on the others half. Let alone when Mizuki brought up the mages age compared to his own. Mizuki was also well older then he was and he wanted to speak of mercy? There were a number of times that Mizuki could have killed him and didn't.

Either way he looked at the other mentioning how old he was. Oh great he knew that huh... Really if he thought about it he had accomplished a lot for his age. His power with a blade alone made up for the lack in magical skills and even then he could manage a few spells he probably shouldn't be able to to. Though he never counted all of that into the grand scheme of things.

It was true though he knew it at the time he was walking into his death. Maybe there was a joked thought that he could win or the other could falter or something. But aside from that he knew he was going to lose and badly. He didn't have to know the others age to know he was out matched.

It was the next words that stung the most though. He was self centered. He didn't try to be but it was true, everything Mizuki said was true. Even after all of these years he should be use to putting his thoughts where they needed to be yet he didn't. He ran a lot even more then he cared to admit. The only times he had pulled through was when running had failed.

Though Mizuki was hardly done with this as he continued asking what about Bel. This went on to mentioning the other two and one being too young to understand that both of his parents were gone. Mizuki was right though, about all of it. His ears were still lowered and the longer he listened to Mizuki go on the less he believed the other in his saying he was strong in any way.

Though the silence finally got to him as he spoke up after a few moments. "You're right." He finally said before breathing a little. "I figured that bastard had some plan to save you while getting rid of me, once he mentioned a spell I knew that was his plan so it didn't matter if it ended there because you would live. Heh.. I didn't know I could be that blind to think it was what you wanted though... especially after he mentioned it would take care of the kids as well."

He shook his head a little thinking over it all. "I don't know how you put up with me really." He laughed weakly at the thought of it. "I'm a damned idiot on more then one level."

After Mizuki finished speaking he sat there and looked to Thalion. The male seemed to be going through his thoughts as he sat there. Mizuki thought that the silence was forever going to continue but he was wrong as Thalion spoke "Your right." Those two simple words right there drew him in and Mizuki waited for the male to continue speaking though as he did he was not sure if he wanted to hear those words or not.

Shaking his head Mizuki frowned "Even if that were the case...what do you think I would of done if I did go through with the spell and everything that was going to happen because of it did?" Mizuki asked "I dont even know the answer to that but I know that it wouldnt be one that I could handle let alone woul want to" He said in a whisper "I really think that if it came down to everything...the only thing I could do would to leave Amonar with Vaden and leave" He said painfully.

Mizuki was glad though that it did not come down to that because that is what he would do if the spell had gone through and he killed three of the people he loved most. So save himself and the remaining of his family grief he would leave and vanish and hide himself away from the world with the grief and heartache that he would more then deserve. Amonar was young enough to eventually forget everything even though it pained him to even think about it.

However his thoughts ended there as Thalion spoke again "I don't know how you put up with me really." Mizuki looked to Thalion at that "I'm a damned idiot on more then one level." Well Mizuki would agree with that but at the same time he wouldnt. Standing Mizuki moved and before Thalion could protest he sat behind the male with a leg on either side of him. Leaning in Mizuki pressed his chest into the males back as he rapped his arms around a slim waist careful of both their wound. Placing his head on Thalions shoulder he sighed a little bit.

"You an idiot" Mizuki said as he sat there "Though so am I on every level that you find yourself on" Mizuki said as his one good arm tightened a little around the slim waist "Even if we seem worlds apart at times we are always together" Mizuki said in a little whisper as he raised his hand and grabbing Thalions hand he raised them a little before the two of them. That was when the light from the window behind them caught a glint on both wedding bands. The stones accented each other in the low light of the setting sun.

"No matter what this life throws at us and no matter what form it comes in..." Mizuki said lightly "I will forever love you" He said as he turned his head into the males neck and placing a soft kiss there Mizuki pulled back a little "And I am deeply sorry that for a moment in time I forgot that" Mizuki whispered brokenly as he brought his legs up and held the male as close to him as he could as he hid his head in a dark neck.

Mizuki had a point. He knew the other wouldn't be able to live with himself if he had killed the three of them. No matter what lies he had been told he should have known better then to think Mizuki would do something like that knowingly. It seemed they owed Vaden. If it weren't for him finding Mizuki so quickly this talk wouldn't even be happening. Let alone it would make what Mizuki's master said come true in this kingdom falling apart.

He figured that when Mizuki moved he was going to leave. Maybe it was for the best for now. Though the other seemed to have something else in mind as he moved sitting behind him in the space where the pillow was before he threw it. He could protest but he wasn't going to. After everything it was nice just to have the other close again even after what happened.

For the moment he listened to the other talk. Saying that any level he found himself on he was there as well. True at times, they both did a number of stupid things. Vaden questioned Thalion at times how he managed to live this long with some of the stunts he pulled or with the things he had been through that could have been avoided. The other had a point though behind it all.

They were always together, somehow at the end of the day and through everything they both had one person on their mind even if they were not beside them. This thought was only added to when Mizuki moved his hand with his own just enough so the light from the window caught the two rings. For the moment resting next to one another as the other spoke once more.

The light kiss after the words was a welcomed one. They had been at odds with one another all this time. Though When Mizuki moved a little before saying he was sorry Thalion shook his head a little. "We both forgot... it wasn't just you." There was so much they could have done differently that it was both of their faults for forgetting. Thinking the other didn't care any longer when they should know better.

"Forever is a long time though..." He started with a faint smirk on his face. "Sure you can put with with me that long seeing as you know how old i am?" He knew the answer but for the moment it amused him to think that they had forever, or as close to it as mortal beings could get.
