I was actually kidding about the guilt tripping, but my idea still stands for what you're doing for Japan to do for Trisphee.

Would it? You still have 600 dollars (or more) that you are donating, so it's not like your stealing from them in anyway. Your giving them money to help the cause in the first place! Plus a lot of people like the items, and I haven't seen a lot of people selling them. (People are probably hoarding or don't want to sell because they are amazing *.*)
I personally would like to have them available longer so I have a chance to buy another bundle or something.
And now that I think of it, would it be deceitful if you didn't donate the money? Perhaps next future Charity Drive you could do "Donations to -Blank- charity will end at so and so, but the items will remain up until so and so for people who still want a chance to buy or get more."

Lucid: 04-13-2011 05:32 PM

Illusion, the point Fen is making is that the amazing items were made for the purpose of users donating to Japan relief in order to acquire said amazing items. Although we made the items and they are property of Trisphee and we could, in theory, do as your suggestion, riding off the demand of amazing items originally intended for Japan donations in order to increase our own profits is tiptoeing a fine line of ethics.

Chi 04-13-2011 07:48 PM

Those items were made to encourage users to donate to the charity that's supporting Japan. Not to encourage users to donate to us, that's the point Illusions. Just like the monthly donation items and the yearly donation items encourage people to donate to Trisphee. It wouldn't feel right to us to start taking donations intended for Japan for our own gain.

Illusion 04-14-2011 04:17 PM

Alright, I understand the teams view now. ;)

Panda 04-14-2011 05:57 PM

The last 2 items haven't been added yet? O.o Why so long?

Feythfull 04-14-2011 05:59 PM

also when it the donation amount going to be updated? It hadn't been updates since before I donated. Dx I wanna see my $$ in the donation amount lol

Panda 04-14-2011 05:59 PM

Silly Bunny. :3

Feythfull 04-14-2011 06:06 PM

silly bunny you mean silly panda!

Fenris 04-14-2011 06:23 PM

Feythfull we havent updated it in a bit because we had been putting 100% in up to a point when we first started the drive then had to knock it back a bit. $700 is about 60%- 75% of what Trisphee got in up to this point and the other 25%-40% went to paying Trisphee bills this month. Because donations have been really lacking for awhile, especially this month I can't update it yet. So I can only update it once we get more donations in. But Japan is still seeing somewhere in the range of what we promised. We have to pay our bills to keep the site up so its been necessary to keep from updating this. But I am really hoping to hit at least $1000 total. Also remember $700 is just an estimation at the moment I only update it once we hit the next $100 mile stone.

Fenris 04-14-2011 06:26 PM

Another unfortunate thing is that the rune tracking is hard. The reason were seeing less donations this month is many people had runes left over from donating for the Japan drive and spent them on monthlies. To put it in a bit more perspective Trisphee hasn't even made 1/4th of how much its bills cost this month, so we cut back on updating this so we didnt over exceed the 50-75% Japan was promised.

Edit: As to why they arent up yet: The Samurai is taking me some time to recolor and then I have a few poses to finish up for the Bakeneko and then I gotta make previews etc for them all. I may not be done til sometime tomorrow which is why I said by the 15th.

Feythfull 04-14-2011 07:08 PM

i see! good luck getting to $1000

I think these last 2 items are worth waiting for. :3 Swords and adorable kittens! *u*

Nanka 04-15-2011 05:34 AM

Do you have to have $1,000 raised because if you're donating it, I'm not quite sure why Japan demands a specific price. I have a feeling I'm looking at this the wrong way, but I'm just curious to the situation.

Gozed 04-15-2011 08:31 AM

I believe $1,000 is just a personal goal Fenris hopes we reach before we send off our donation.

Fenris 04-15-2011 02:26 PM

Cronis was in fact the designer of the set, with some alterations by Kami of course.

Espy 04-15-2011 02:38 PM

Fenris 04-15-2011 02:46 PM

Fenris 04-15-2011 03:46 PM

It depends, my personal helpers arent on right now. DK and Taiki have been helping me alot because I have some real life stuff happening at the moment that is hindering my ability to pixel/finish pixeling things.

Your hands? Or something completely different?

Fenris 04-15-2011 03:50 PM

That and other things. My family has experienced many losses over the last 10 months the most recent being one of my cousins. So besides being in physical pain due to my wrists, Ive been in a lot of emotional pain as well.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-15-2011 03:56 PM

The samurai is lovely stuff. <3

*Gives Fenris hugs.*

Passion Pit 04-15-2011 04:16 PM

I was mostly joking anyway, take your time darlin.
Sorry to hear about your losses, and whatever is wrong with your hands.

Fenris 04-15-2011 04:36 PM

I have rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid is actually an auto immune disease that makes the immune system eat away at joints and organs. It targets small joints first which is why my hands are so bad. Its something I have to keep fighting though, but sometimes its particularly bad.

Panda 04-15-2011 04:49 PM

Oh my, that sound scary.

Espy 04-15-2011 04:55 PM

o.O So your cells think its friends are enemies? Scaaary.

Fenris 04-15-2011 04:57 PM

Something like that. It is just something I have to deal with, it just isn't easy.

Panda 04-15-2011 05:27 PM

I probably die already if I have something like that. O.o

Fenris 04-15-2011 05:32 PM

Not likely its a slow progressing type of thing and Ill still live to be a good old age, it just means my bones and stuff will be really weak by that time.

Illusion 04-15-2011 05:35 PM

And depending on how long you run the site pixeling... Oh wow.. xD I wouldn't want to be pixeling at an old age with that weighing me down.

Coloring isn't that bad, it's the previews and sorting that's annoying. xD
