I have two decks. One has both the major and minor arcana, and the other has only the major arcana.

I've got a simple "beginner's" deck that almost literally jumped off the shelf at me (I passed by it and must have accidentally knocked it off) and a Fairy Tale one that I couldn't take my eyes off of...It was the first one I saw and kept seeing it in many bookstores so I finally bought it...Both of them have the Major and Minor Arcana...

My major arcana deck I got from the GameStop rewards catalog. The other I got from a friend in exchange for a game I hardly played anymore. She never really used the tarot deck, so it was a rather fair trade.

Nice...I had a friend get me into it and she bought me my first deck and my second one actually. I didn't have the money for either and she wanted to see how I could do with my own deck (I tried using one of her decks and it wasn't exactly nice to me (I won't touch her other deck, there is something very dark about it that gives me the willies))...

I want to buy another deck from the bookstore close to my house, but the prettier ones are between $20-40. I need a job before that can happen.

I'm not gonna get a new one anytime soon. Mine picked me and I don't think I could ever get another...although if one picks me again, I'll have to get it...(3 is my lucky number)...

Not true! Most fortune tellers have lots of decks and mix-and-match the cards so that they mean something to the owner. My friend Gigi has over a dozen decks, and she loves getting new ones.

Lols...IDK...it just seems ridiculous for me...but I guess it would all depend on if more decks jump out at me...

It bothers me that many booklets that come with the decks don't have meanings for the cards' reversed positions, only upright.

I've found that my decks don't really like being shuffled with upside down cards...So my decks are shuffled to where they are all upright...

lucky number 11 is mine... idk why it just works for me

The booklet that came with my large deck has reversed meanings in it. It's really useful when I'm doing a celtic cross spread.
