I'm not sure. The weekend brought to me a crossroads which I alone must choose for.

Ah, yes that can happen sometimes.
I've recently went through something that made me rethink who I thought I was.
For I feared that the person I knew was slipping away from me, but if that were the case it wouldn't have been the true me. So I did some thinking and moved on with my life.

i don't know what they want me to be. Only what they see of the current me.

They're scared. They don't recognize my character as normal. Every few sentences get an awkward nod or a creep away. Regardless I cannot find my people. At the moment they all leave for college, if there is no one else, in alone right?

Whenever I thought I was alone, I never truly was. Maybe that will be the case for you as well. Some friends only become good friends because they are always there for you. One of the best friends and I have nothing in common. At all. We have nothing to talk about. Nothing to do together. BUT we are still close friends. And have been for... Over half my life. We are always there for each other, no matter what.
