The option to rend text books sounds useful.
Yeah, you will need to dear.
And it is. Makes it a lot easier and much cheaper..... |
200 dollars a semester verses over 1000 a semester for books.
My college rents some, but not most, textbooks. The only one I ever had the option to rent, though, was rented for only about $15 less than buying it. Since my school buys back books at 50%, I saved a lot more money buying and selling it back than I would have renting.
Eh, it's a matter of preference. Also, our college doesn't buy back at that good of a rate, so renting comes out cheaper for us.
I looked for used textbooks to buy when I could.
Ours buys back at like 20.... I spent 100+ on supplemental books (Dracula, other reading materials and lab books) the past year and for what they bought back I got 19.25...

I'm throwing my Algebra 1 college textbook into the fire
I will trade you for a Stat book
College books cost way too much money to me. The price tag on them is ridiculous, even for used ones. Sometimes you'll get a few of them for really good deals but not always.
Yup. They are too expensive.
That they are.....well, glad I don't have to anymore....at least not until my junior year at earliest hopefully.
Some of the ancient historians I read in college were interesting, though.
Well, my big few subjects that I enjoy are history, cultural anthropology, and some political science.
I was a history major with an anthropology minor. <3
Nice! I couldn't stand to be a history major, but a cultural anthro major, quite possible. Probably will stick to to my Criminal Justice though.
