It was great.

Pathosis 10-10-2012 04:17 AM

All the feels. ; n ;

Mika 10-10-2012 04:20 AM

Daigotsu! O: I spy a familiar face!

Pathosis 10-10-2012 04:22 AM

If you think it's someone from another site, you're probably mistaken.
D:
Daigotsu is Lacrymosa. >>;;
She just recently changed her username.
I don't think she's on any other sites?

Mika 10-10-2012 04:49 AM

No, that's not what I'm thinking at all. Daigotsu told me I could post in any of her threads. She's one of the users that welcomed me here.

Daigotsu 10-10-2012 12:10 PM

Hey Mika~ Glad you stopped in. I usually perch in this thread all day.

Pathy: THAT PICTURE. It's amazing~ I love how Espy is like: What am I doing here? These people are crazy. And you look all dejected. D:

Mika 10-10-2012 12:29 PM

Muaha! Art threads are good threads to perch in. We'll see if I open one eventually.

Daigotsu 10-10-2012 12:38 PM

Open a request thread, or do you do art?

Man. So I have two cats. One is around 2 yearsish old, the other is 8 weeks. The older cat is fat. Just plain beefy. The boyfriend and I are trying to figure out how to make him lose weight. It's not like he is inactive per se, but.....SO FAT.

Mika 10-10-2012 12:40 PM

I dabble in it.
Falinore.deviantart.com.
I'm not the best, or the worst.

Can you find Nutrisource? It's a really great food, get the weight management bag and feed him only what it says to. It'll do the trick.

Daigotsu 10-10-2012 12:46 PM

I'll have to google that. They have an auto feeder right now, and Beckett (the older cat) used to eat a bunch of small meals a day, which was fine. But then he became a lard-ass. We don't want him teaching Damon those habits. The bag seems like a good idea, though.

OH wow! I love your headshots/busts~ If you do plan on opening shop, I'd love to order from you~ That is, if you like drawing men.

Mika 10-10-2012 12:49 PM

It's not that I dislike it, but sometimes they come out looking fairly feminine. xD I don't have a lot of practice with men, is all.

Ah, it's the food itself too. It winds down to ingredients. If your cat has a sensitive metabolism, then regular crap food will make him fat no matter what you do. The Nutrisource site will show you the nutrience value in comparisson to other common brands. ;~;
It seems expensive but it doesn't cost really THAT much more cause you have to use so much less.

Daigotsu 10-10-2012 12:56 PM

Yeah. Beckett is my boyfriends cat, and Damon is mine. But we both share the responsibility. Since I don't have a job, Mike (the boy) pays for all the food. He recently got a raise/promotion, so money won't be hard on us. I'm trying to convince him to go to wet food. We'll see how that goes. If he says Dry still, I'll look into Nutrisource and that bag thinger.

I know a lot of artists that have troubles with drawing men. I can only assume that maybe because their features aren't as soft as women?

Mika 10-10-2012 01:00 PM

Don't go primarily wet food. If you do, you'll rot out your cat's teeth. :C It's really really bad for their teeth. //works in a pet store.

Oh, it's not that. Most of my art is avatar art. There are a considerably higher percentage of females on these sites than males, so I get more practice with female anatomy. Men, not so much. That, and I am a girl so I have myself as an example if I need it for women. Men not so much. xD

Daigotsu 10-10-2012 01:16 PM

I didn't know that about wet food. Huh. That is strange. Isn't wet food water based? I thought water would be good. Oh well~ They still have some of their normal food left, so we don't have to make a choice right now.

That too. I find it hilarious that a lot of people assume if you have a male avatar, you are male. When I was on a different site, I was always a guy avatar, and people would assume I was a dude, and I wouldn't correct them. I'd just... slide by the issue. On this site, I am mostly female bases (except right now), so most everyone knows me from my previous appearance.

Mika 10-10-2012 01:21 PM

It's not unhealthy for them particularly nutrition-wise, but hard food kinda brushes their teeth when they eat right? Wet does not. So it rots their teeth out over long periods of time. Make sure you get them greenies and stuff to chew on if you go primarily wet food.

Haha yepp! The few males that there are? Are usually females behind them!
