Lawtan 11-10-2013 01:07 PM

We'll make Candy Steak!

Firkash 11-10-2013 04:04 PM

Where's the beef?

Oh sorry,
I just had to say that..

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 06:25 PM

uuuughu, my back is sore already

Firkash 11-10-2013 06:38 PM

For why?
Did I miss something?

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 06:41 PM

i have back problems and i make clay miniatures, i just am a wuss is all

Firkash 11-10-2013 06:44 PM

Oh no that's no good.
I have knee problems.

But I feel as if your back problems outweigh mine.

Lawtan 11-10-2013 06:58 PM

Stretch back, then work?

Quiet Man Cometh 11-10-2013 07:07 PM

Back problems suck. I have everything problems right now since I spent four months in a hospital bed. I fell over on the couch while fishing my laptop plug out of the power bar and got stuck since my core isn't strong enough to lift my body weight upright without using my arms, too, and one of them was wedged down by the power bar. I'm contemplating taking up yoga.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 07:10 PM

if i stretch i will almost certainly pull it, i have messed up bits all over X''D luckily it is all soft-tissue so it hurts but can be worked through most of the time if i need to

i dunno, knee problems are serious

Firkash 11-10-2013 07:14 PM

Yoga might be good.

Take it easy today then Boco.
I mean Chocobo.
/I believe I called you Bartz' chocobos name by accident

My knee problems are only bad sometimes.
It's because I trip and fall on them all the time.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 07:16 PM

sweetie, it sounds like you need therapy if your muscles are so atrophied

Quiet Man Cometh 11-10-2013 07:25 PM

Oh, I'm sure I could make a case for it. I've been trying some skipping now and then, which I can barely manage. The doc told me that for every day spent in bed it's one week of recovery, so it's going to take a while. Drives me nuts because I used to have no problem with little things like that. It's stuff you don't think about until you suddenly can't do it anymore. At least yoga would get a good range of muscles moving again.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 07:30 PM

i understand that, i used to legpress in the three hundreds and lift a hundred pounds and haul in firewood for the fireplace at my parents'now i dont wear shoes with laces because bending over could put me out all day vxv

Firkash 11-10-2013 07:33 PM

Oh my stars..

Please be careful everyone.

Lawtan 11-10-2013 08:03 PM

I actually would be interested in getting up that kind of strength. Can lift ~60 lbs easy...80 lbs hard. Advice, Chocobo?
(Also, there are people who may be able to help with the back thing...)

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 08:06 PM

dude i took a strengthtraining class in highschool then did swim X''D my advice is take a class course or be friends with a gymrat hahahahahha, oh and live in the country so you can keep using those muscles

Firkash 11-10-2013 08:17 PM

I am taking a Wellness and Fitness class.
I did crunches for the very first time last Thursday.
I did 10 of them.
My stomach hurt all the rest of the week.

Today it finally stopped hurting.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 09:46 PM

wellness and fitness? isn't that the general class for people who dont want to take a health class?

also, if you dont keep working your body will just heal and you wont get stronger

Quiet Man Cometh 11-10-2013 10:14 PM

We had that class in my high school. It focused on things like aerobics rather than sports, and once a week we went to the gym and were taught how to properly use the equipment. It was in place of the regular PE class.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 10:18 PM

ah, i took strengthtraining is sort of the 'lite' version of the football class XD most of the same stuff but a much lighter load

quiet, do you have any female ocs who are humanoid and not super weighed-down by stuff? i want to do a simple art of a female char and all mine are boys

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 10:49 PM

oops i guess not

Yes.
Because me and sports don't get along.
I get hurt every single time I try.

My stomach hurt so bad that I didn't have any strength and I felt like passing out.
Sometimes I even felt like throwing up.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 11:21 PM

then you did too much at once, try three a day every day for two weeks before school

Firkash 11-10-2013 11:28 PM

Well my teacher said to do as many as I could.
And I did.
I could do 10.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 11:36 PM

XD there is a difference between 'can' and 'can safely'

Firkash 11-10-2013 11:39 PM

She said to do it until I couldn't.
So I think 10 is pretty good.
And now when I do them again ill do what you suggested.

littl3chocobo 11-10-2013 11:53 PM

just be safe dude

Bailed at the wrong time, did I?

Thinking about it, not really, no, unless I grab someone random from my fiction since I rarely bother to work out appearance details. Minus my gaming characters, which are usually weighed down with stuff, most of my OC's tend to be men as well.

Yeah, always good to watch what you do. I think I keep hurting my knees because I go to jump or something, forgetting that I'm not strong enough yet, and then mangle something. I plan on getting an exercise disc so I can do some balance work, since my current dwelling is too small to accommodate and exercise ball.

littl3chocobo 11-11-2013 01:47 AM

kinda but i hear you, i just dont have a use for boobs myself though X''D

Quiet Man Cometh 11-11-2013 03:28 AM

Sigh. Churned out 1000 words commentary on babysitting earlier today (while babysitting) but write 60 words of fiction and I'm roadblocked. -.-

littl3chocobo 11-11-2013 04:02 AM

treat it the same way, you are not making you are repeating fact by rote XD

Quiet Man Cometh 11-11-2013 04:12 AM

I have this problem of usually getting out what I want to say in a few sentences. That is not profitable writing.

Lawtan 11-11-2013 04:29 AM

Bards of old had "filler" - semi-repeatable parts to fall back on when they needed to. So does television that lasts more than 20 episodes...

Quiet Man Cometh 11-11-2013 04:31 AM

Indeed, but I just call it "flash fiction" instead. ;)

Easily repeatable phrases also helped with remembering things like epic poems.

star2000shadow 11-11-2013 07:39 AM

morning everyone, how is your day going. mine started off at two in the morning and its only five now. im watching Spiders on the side of posting.

Firkash 11-11-2013 05:30 PM
