i'm still on Uni6. i just keep to myself and, really, i don't post allll that much, except in the games threads, really. so i read the announcementy type posts and move on. i'm not one for drama, so i don't poke the llama. =)

On Uni5 I lived on my Profile Wall and Notifications page.. xD kinda can't do that on Uni6...

I ask again, how is this site still alive?

People trade Uni Currency for FR or Aywas Currency

Isn't that against most sites ToS?

a lot of sites don't like off site trading due to the possibility of people getting scammed, its to protect the users..

so sites like FR and Aywas, they say 'Do it at your own risk'

I only trade with ML, Zen, and my other Uni friends xD

What kind of experience have you had Tam?

There are a few sites that allow items/currency to be changed sites. Wajwas was another, think I got the name right. I know Neopets, Subeta and Gaia frown on it but people do still swap the currency for other currency on 'black market' sites. Than again, Aywas you can buy and sell accounts as well, only game I know where account buying is allowed.

Some sites don't allow it cause the art, etc is copyrighted to them and you making money off their property is frowned at, real life or pixel money. Yet, I know people have said if Neo offered a way to buy UCs or turn pets UC, they would spend the money to do it which would be better for Neo than trying to track down black market accounts, etc.

Oh, the site's just not interesting anymore. I don't like social networking sites. I like quiet avatar communities where the clothes for the guys and girls are mostly the same (hated the way clothes for girls on UF was always a lot less to it than on the guy clothes).

Main reason why I leave sites, I like small, quiet avatar sites myself due to me being very antisocial and I rather log on, do stuff and get my pretty pixels with less involvement on the forums as possible. Had tons of peeps try to get me involved and I just not interested.

I don't know if I'm antisocial, though I know I've become a physical loner over the years.

Is that why you haven't posted in the RP Chleo? 8( I was actually looking forward to us RPing together! D:

Right now I kinda envy my avatar that dino costume. It's humid and CHILLY here.

The costume does look nice and warm, I usually wear a sweater over my work clothes. x'D

Our area wound up getting a lot of ice. Most of the high schools were cancelled because of it.

We've got that wet cold where things melt then freeze again. Black ice is no fun at all.

Been missing UF5 so much. It's been too long since I ran an event, but UF6 is slow and this is slow and there's no way to do one on UF5, which is even more slow, so I'm just left missing it. :f-sad:

Wet cold goes right to your bones and stays there. I'll take minus 5 and dry over this 32-34 degree wet, damp, and icy cold any day. XD

Ouch! That sucks! That must be like that one time I got caught in a rainstorm as a kid with my real mom and brother, we all looked like drenched rats. ^^;

it's going to be COLD here this coming week, with single digit lows... and yes, that's Fahrenheit!

I purchased a lands end long winter squall coat last year and boy am I glad. It's water proof, wind proof and keeps you warm in sub-zero weather. Before that coat, I'd get so chilled from this cold damp that I wouldn't be able to stop shivering until I had a hot shower.

Yesterday we had Sleet, then snow, then rain, and then snow again.

I'm terrified to go outside. I just know there's all kinds of ice down there.. but I have to go out and get to my job site ><


@Zen - I kinda miss Wall Events on Uni5.

Yeah, they can't really be done anymore on 5 because no one is really thee, and 6 is a pain to do them on.

Plus even if you did a wall event on Uni5, you'd still have to send the items over at Uni6 because trading has been turned off at 5 for awhile now. :(

on uni6 i never know when people do wall events any more because i never see their notices. that and the amount you can type is so small.. ._. you have to cram a lot of info into what.. 250 characters?
