The first time I saw the show was this past April in Buffalo, New York (where I live)
But I had read the books much previously and then I bought the soundtrack two years ago..

Oh, nice. I've thought about reading the books, but even if I were to decide to read it...well, it'd only be added to my already long list of stuff to read. X'D
So maybe one day I will read it, only it'll be in the far, far future. P:

I prefer the books to the musical..mostly because the musical is a little too family friendly...rofl

I still have yet to read the books, but I definitely want to. :3 They sound really interesting, and it'd be nice to get another take on the Wicked storyline. :3

Its actually a lot better than the musical. The musical was changed from the book to make it more family friendly.

I only read the first book, but I definitely liked it better than the musical. They're very different. The book's a lot darker and more serious.

yessss and SO much better. I wish I had more time for internet...rofl

I just finished "Out of Oz" the fourth book..it just came out

YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Freedom is nice, isn't it? I finished all my finals on Tuesday, but I still have to work until tomorrow. I'm getting out of town and going back home on saturday and I'm super excited! I get to bring my boyfriend with me! :D

I got engaged on the 9th. Eric took me on a surprise date (Who expects a date on a monday, a school night? Not I!) where he blindfolded me, took me out to dinner, took me to the place where we had our first date, took me to where we had our first kiss, and took me back to my place where he first told me that he loved me. He had me read aloud things that he wrote about me in his journal, and then he asked me to marry him! C:

My sister doesn't want to wear a dress to my wedding at all so I'm just not going to have bridesmaids. :< (He won't have any groomsmen anyway so it's alright.) I guess we'll find her some nice slacks and a blouse or something.

So I bought a mermaid style dress, with a beaded Queen Anne neckline, diagonal rouching along the body, and a single pickup on the skirt that we're going to put a sparkly pin on to add just a bit more awesome. It's gorgeous. It makes me look taller(ish) and thinner and the neckline goes really well with my short hair and it's just all-around perfect! I'm so excited! I'll take pictures of it when I pick it up next week. :3

haha I asked her at work today, and she said "Imma convince Matty to make you a groomsman!"
so...maybe.

I looove dress shopping...They almost always end up picking the one that I pick out for them. Im really good at picking clothes for my girlfriends, but not so much for myself..
so they always have to pick out outfits for me when we go shopping..haha

Funny how that works out. Maybe it's because we don't see ourselves the way most everyone else sees us, so the outside opinion is usually best and our own opinions always suck. XD

I got a call from the store yesterday saying that my dress was ready to pick up, but they only have pickup times on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10-6 (while I have work and/or class D: ) ! So I have to wake up early next thursday to drive an hour to Salt Lake and pick it up before class. :< I wish they had a Friday or Saturday time.

No kidding. I keep forgetting to call and make an appointment to go in and pick it up. >.> They want to make sure there's somebody to help take my measurements and try on the dress to check what alterations need to be done when I go in. Hopefully a 20-hour notice is good enough for them, because I'll have to call tomorrow. >.>

Yeah, I got it! <3 It looks so beautiful and there aren't very many alterations needed (just take the neck in a little and hem it a bit), and my roommate took a picture on her phone, but I can't get to it because it's on her phone. :<
When I was driving home though, I was turning left and I guess I wasn't paying attention or something, because this car came out of NOWHERE and had to swerve out of the way and we almost crashed! It was so scary! But everybody's alright so that was good.
