Ooh la la, I like the idea of Fee having Rue against the wall. ;3
Fee doesn't really seem like the offensive type to me, though. Maybe she could somehow convince Rue to give her lessons in being a bitch. ...Somehow. |
Yeah Funk, Lev will definitely gain a 'power up' of sorts. At the cost of his mental wellness, though.
|
Ah well, you know as they say. "Today's butter is tomorrow's bread" right?...or do they say that...
@Serra, okie then. Pick up a stone and throw it at the speed of light at something, then...or something...I'm just saying. |
Yea, Fee is really passive if only because she hates thinking that people will be frightened of her. But then again she doesn't want to be useless either.
@Cupcake, we're going to write that fanfic with Fee and Rue right? XD |
I have never heard of any scientific process through which butter turns into bread... or maybe I just didn't pay enough attention in class.
And yes, fanfic time! x3 |
....I get the feeling I missed a lot in these three hours.
EDIT: HOLY CRAP I FORGOT ABOUT THE DIs. -runs to go check- |

EDIT: ....Ew. All I can say right now (I'm not done reading) is...Lev's lucky Dante doesn't have psychic powers. EDIT2 since I can't triple: Whoa....hit the nail on the head. |
Sure did Espy. You sure did.
|
I think I'd better go sleepy now XP Take care and try not to break Fee too much while I'm gone, alright? XD
|
Aw, Rue's going to sleepy-bye, so she won't be mean to anyone for a while. =3
|
So Suz, another question...
When God croaked, did he leave behind a corpse? And if so, what would happen to a person if they were to try to, you know...eat the flesh from said corpse? |
Um... I hadn't really thought about that. :p
Sure, I guess there can be a corpse. No idea what would happen if Lev ate from it. We'd have to cross that bridge once we got there. |
Impromptu post....I really didn't think about it x_____X
|
I edited my last post, because I realized that Michael wouldn't know the cause of Feenai's crying if he wasn't there. XD
EDIT: Intimacy at 200% |
Guess Suz will just have to make make a post that they all slept at the inn and recovered to their full health. Lev's pretty boring when he's asleep. And as Lev falls deeper in to 'madness', I think that's going to be something he actually starts working towards. He really doesn't have a driving force behind him right now, and I think that really leans in to his 'character'.
|
I also think that I have one more event to accomplish before that sleep so...*waits for sage and possibly serra brit*
|
Right, well, once you're all finished for the night, I'll move us ahead.
|
Aye, Aye, Sir. *Patiently waits for the next post*
By the way, sheol, what do you think of the nature of psychic powers. I think it should be based on the intent of the user's mind, but it's possible for it to work in other ways (for example telekinesis can be limited by the energy of the user: more weight lifted = more energy expended) |
Well, I imagine that whatever effect the psychic is trying to achieve meets some sort of "resistance," just for most day-to-day stuff said resistance is negligible enough not to mention. The more powerful an effect would be, the more draining it'll be on the psychic's brain. Which is at least part of the reason why Emim are so incredibly dangerous -- they're basically incarnate thought and can overcome nearly any resistance, since they'll never tire.

Strength Regeneration Progress: ...5%
Hmm... Maybe I made Rue fall asleep too soon. ;; |
I wonder if we'll be able to find a few silver wildcat cartridges~ Then maybe Lev and Dante would have an easier timing owning ass.

Eh, Lev's okay without them. I prefer him using older weaponry, stuff that's breaking down or outdated. More in line with him. He's desperate, always fighting down to the last bullet and resorting to his own teeth when he has to. Means more goodies for Dante though.
|
Salone, I assume you know what those wildcat things she's talking about are. Care to fill me in?
|
No real clue. Most of my knowledge is on Eastern Bloc/Cold War munitions. But there's millions of guns and even more bullets out there, so a lot slip by. However...a quick look at Google tells me they're custom made.
|
I'm just curious why Espy (er... Dante) would want them over Obliteration Rounds, which are more or less like 40K Bolter ammo. :p
|
Dunno. Lev prefers his 7.62 though. The 7.62x25mm in the PPsh-41 is a pistol round. Doesn't break up inside the body, but the design allows it to pierce Class II body armor easily. It can sail right through a propane tank (Something to keep in mind 'round these parts in Corinth here!). However, the 7.62x39 used in most Eastern Bloc (Soviet) weapons is a whole different ball game, that absolutely destroys anything it penetrates. Will sink deep inside a target and break all in to pieces. .32 ACP is an American round that I'm really shoddy on, although it's just a shade step up from .22, which has very low penetration power, but bounces around inside you. Kind of like the Greenhouse effect. Not to mention the ammo for all of these (except 7.62x39) is pretty small, so it's easy to carry large amounts without encumbering yourself.
Sorry. Will end the boring gun talk now. |
Mm, no problem, that's interesting to know. This sort of stuff will only really come up against demons or Rephaim, both of whom will take extreme amounts of physical punishment to take down. I imagine those'll at least do some damage. And like you said, they're light and easily portable. I imagine obliteration rounds... aren't quite so much. They probably require a modified weapon to even fire them.
On the other hand, if a psychic is shielding themselves against physical trauma, the amount of impact would certainly increase the strain of maintaining the shield, so those ought to be useful (to their full potential) in a fair few situations. |
Well, he needs to get his hand(s) on something a bit bigger. As long as it's cool with you, Lev would like to find a 'Mosin-Nagant' M19/30. It's an old rifle, dating back to the late 1800's to present, produced in various Soviet satellites. Holds 5 rounds and it's bolt action, but the round it fires (7.62x54R) is considered by some to be too powerful for moose hunting. It's a grand old rifle and still in use today. And I have one gathering dust in a safe so this is my only way for me to use some form of it!
|
Well, however it pans out that you guys get an equipment upgrade, you're welcome to add one to your inventory. I recommend that we make that the group's next step.
|
*snores*
Wha- huh? Oh, I mean, guns. Yes. Very interesting. =P |
Are we just waiting on Serra and Sage before we can keep going?
|
Seems that way. Michael went ahead and tried to comfort Fee, so we might need to wait for their interaction to end before we can time-skip. =/
|
That's what I figured. I'll have Shealtiel make the final post for the night once they settle things, then move us ahead with him waking up.
|
Sounds good. Wish I had poked Serra earlier, though. ;;
If I were to have Rue find another weapon, it would be something like Taiye's bullet sword. That would be sweet. =3 |
Heh, maybe Michael could make one for her. :p
|
Aw man, that means Rue would actually have to be nice to someone... <_<
|
It can pay off. Shocking, I know. :p
