Quiet Man Cometh 07-21-2018 12:56 AM

The Boy.

Been on my list a while. Curious mix of both predictability and not quite. Looking a synop or something to see if I just happened to miss the part that covers what seems like a thinly covered plot hole.

Witchchylde 07-21-2018 05:58 PM

We just got our hands on "Isle Of Dogs" this week, so we've watched it once. I'd love to watch it again, actually.

Kaderin Triste 07-21-2018 07:27 PM

Blackfish. If documentaries count...
It was actually really interesting.

Although am about halfway through Spanglish, which I will finish after work.

KittyBeary 07-21-2018 10:48 PM

Was watching Princess Mononoke while working on a San cosplay

Yokuutsu 07-22-2018 02:10 AM

Pitch Perfect 2

The music is really good <3

tsukiko 07-25-2018 10:52 AM

the snowman. it was interesting...

Quiet Man Cometh 07-26-2018 04:16 AM

The Windmill.

last of the horror binge. No more netflix. alas.

tsukiko 07-26-2018 02:23 PM

the maze runner

Biomecha 08-04-2018 05:51 PM

The Boy Downstairs. Not much to the story. Not much to the characters.

Quiet Man Cometh 08-13-2018 01:08 AM

Alien Covenant.

Or rather, tried to watch it. Half the time it was too dark to make anything out, and I wasn't sure what was going on the rest of the time. The alien parts were all pretty darn predictable and repeat encounters from earlier films. If anything, I think it would have been a more interesting film if they removed the gore-horror part and just focused on the androids.

Biomecha 08-13-2018 01:29 AM

Justice League. Didn't care for it. But curious to see how Ezra's Flash develops compared to the CW one.

KittyBeary 08-13-2018 02:10 AM

I watched Castle in the Sky in what feels like ages! I fell in love with it all over again. <3

tsukiko 08-13-2018 01:29 PM

coco. wasn't intending on ever watching it, but it was on netflix. it was alright, i did cry at the end, but it felt like a continuation of the book of life instead of what it was, which is it's own movie made by a different company entirely.

Quiet Man Cometh 08-19-2018 10:26 PM

Avengers: Infinity War

NOT COOL MARVEL!

Copper Flame 08-21-2018 04:12 PM

The Shape Of Water

tsukiko 08-22-2018 09:39 AM

the little princess (shirley temple) seen it before, but still love it.

Kaderin Triste 08-22-2018 12:21 PM

Braveheart. Mainly just because I stumbled across some of the music from it in a "station" (more like a pre-selected playlist tbh, there's always just the same songs) on Google Music and it made me want to watch it again.

Biomecha 08-23-2018 01:55 AM

Mr. Gaga: A True Story of Love and Dance. And also Bobbi Jene, another documentary about one of the students from the first documentary. I'll probably never understand the symbolism behind most of the dances, but the movements are mesmerizing.

bluebird 08-23-2018 04:07 PM

coco

Biomecha 08-26-2018 12:37 AM

Dean. It makes me wish I had a voicemail message from my mother.

Biomecha 09-18-2018 07:45 PM

On Body and Soul. I enjoyed it up to a point. The final act was disappointing. It felt like it was building up to be even darker, and I actually would have preferred it that way. Instead, it just fizzled. But overall, it was worth watching.

Kurayami no Uta 09-19-2018 02:45 PM

alice in wonderland

Biomecha 09-19-2018 03:11 PM

Sunday's Illness. Had some predictable moments. But overall it was well acted and the way the story evolved was interesting. Nice scenery and I also liked how it ended.

MacSen191 09-19-2018 06:36 PM

Kind of watched Ready Player One with my son today. I was half paying attention.

Yokuutsu 09-21-2018 12:51 AM

I"m watching The Help right now. I love this movie!

KittyBeary 09-21-2018 09:47 PM

Bleach live action movie. It was pretty decent! :3

Biomecha 09-23-2018 04:12 PM

The Beyond. Slow, poorly acted, poorly written. Nothing about it seemed original.

Biomecha 10-06-2018 08:37 PM

Oh Lucy! It was okay, I guess. Had potential to be much better. Do I find it relatable that the main character would follow Josh Hartnett to another country after receiving a hug from him? Umm... maybe.

DreadedMartian 10-06-2018 10:48 PM

Dead Set. 5 epeisode single season tv show. At first I thought it was going to be a spoof of zombie movies. Was surpirisgnly good and the acting was decent.
The ending was gut wrenching and stuck with me.

Biomecha 10-06-2018 11:18 PM

Oh, also Annihilation. Aside from the occasional nice imagery, I didn't really care for it.

mdom 10-06-2018 11:50 PM

^It did have nice imagery. It also made me want to be a tree.

I watched Venom and while it wasn't a good movie, it made me love Tom Hardy more.

MacSen191 10-08-2018 08:40 AM

I binge watched some movies last weekend on Netflix and Prime, I rewatched A Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxu because I hadn't seen it in a year or two. (Love that movie!) And the movie before that was Fiddler on The Roof cuz I had Tradtion stuck in my head.

Lawtan 10-08-2018 08:49 AM

Your Name was so beautiful and excellent! A time-skip bodyswap animated romance story.

As was Paprika, Black Panther, Ocean's 8...

Biomecha 10-08-2018 08:28 PM

Hold the Dark. I like the style. Not my favorite from Saulnier. Can't say I'm smart enough to understand the motivations of the characters. I may also be biased due to not being a fan of Skarsgård, but he didn't seem like a good fit.

bluebird 10-09-2018 12:01 AM

pirates of the caribbean: the OG one
so good that im bout to relapse into my pirate phase again

DreadedMartian 10-09-2018 04:29 AM

Raw is that one movie you heard about where a vegan tastes meat and starts eating people but ITS.SO.MUCH.MORE. Surprisingly Fantastic.

Biomecha 10-17-2018 02:04 AM

Deadpool 2. I liked it well enough.

DreadedMartian 10-20-2018 01:27 AM

The Devil and The Blacksmith or Errementari

Very unique and pretty cool movie. Preffered the English subs over dub.

Biomecha I think you will like this

MacSen191 10-20-2018 09:51 AM

Bits and pieces of Black Panther. My son was watching it the other day on Netflix and I was only half paying attention to it.

Natsunaine 10-29-2018 09:20 PM

Ummmm, I believe the last movie i saw was heritage i think
