I hit somebody for my first time T.T
I moved their back bumper an inch and it was a work vehicle so I had to file an insurance claim and
I just
bah.

Tiva 06-01-2016 11:36 PM

That is never fun Spar, at least no one had to go to the hospital!!

SparX 06-02-2016 12:00 AM

No one was in the car, but I couldn't just leave it and went back in to grab whoever it was
He would have let it slide but it was a work vehicle.
I still feel really guilty, because I was distracted by my husband handing lee some fish and thus it happened, but am also worried about my insurance XD

*offers SparX hugs*
...as my family has has multiple problems with car crashes, I feel you. It can be a hassle (a person drove into my mom's car, and claimed a phantom car hit them first, so she couldn't get insurance to pay for damages unless she took it to court)

Tohopekaliga 06-02-2016 10:32 AM

Car crashes are always a bad time, even little fender benders. :(

trystan830 06-02-2016 10:39 AM

hubby calls my car the Black Cloud because it's been hit by a deer (2007?), the front end hit a car when older daughter was learning to drive (2014), i mushed into a pylon (at like 5 mph, but still a bit of damage. also 2014), got rear-ended (2015), and had to take it in as part of a recall for airbag parts (2015). ugh.

Tiva 06-02-2016 11:44 AM

My Versa is only a year old and I have been in a fender bender (backing out of a spot at Food Lion and the person didn't see me, thankfully we barely tapped by both slamming on breaks). Hit the side of the garage and scraped paint, accidentally scraped the front bumper with the garage door, and tapped the basketball goal in the driveway. I have bad luck with the garage/driveway.

trystan830 06-02-2016 11:50 AM

my car is a 2007 but i got it in october 2006.

Glitch 06-02-2016 01:15 PM

I just got a recall notice today but I haven't taken mine in >.> I don't know where to take it!

trystan830 06-02-2016 01:20 PM

usually the car dealer is where you take it for recalls. you could always call your mechanic first, to find out/confirm that.

Glitch 06-02-2016 01:36 PM

Well my car dealer was my dad xD and I'm in a new state now and I have to figure out where Oldsmobiles used to be sold? D:

Tohopekaliga 06-02-2016 01:42 PM

The recall notice should have some information about where to get it fixed. :)

trystan830 06-02-2016 01:48 PM

now that i'm remembering that, Toho, you're right, my recall notice told me where to get it fixed.

Glitch, if the recall notice doesn't say, i'd ask your dad and mechanic too.

Tiva 06-02-2016 02:19 PM

Buick or Pontaic dealerships are still part of the GM lineup. Also Chevy but Toho is right they should have information on the notice or a phone number so you can find local dealers.

Glitch 06-02-2016 03:33 PM

No just a big stop sign and a number to call to find out about the gm ignition recall
