I really can't...With my questing still in full stride (and the possibility of Mizzy holding 140 runes and me still needing 17k for that) I'm in the hole...

Although as soon as I get my hard items done I get to go on a commons shopping spree...I may actually do it a little if I can get the last two old yearlies I need...

Yeah but still buying a common here or there isn't that bad. I do it and I never regret it once because commons really help out an outfit especially as underlying things
if you continually use only dis and such you get easily burnt out ^^

I normally go on an avie challenge spree once I meet a goal in my quest and I end up buying a ton of commons...but my current goal is getting the yearlies...and I need all the au I can get for that...

They're all in order to make an outfit work. I buy what I think might work to start it, and I go from there...although I so go on massive hair sprees and buy all colors of random hairs...lols!

My favorite thing to do is to go out and buy every color of a hair, and then make an avie starting with that hair!!!

They do! And even if they don't layer well you can hide the 'hiccups' with hats or head stuff

I either decide what kind of person would have that kind of hair and go from there, or a make a character to go with the hair name...

Hair is so expensive though ono I usually pick the hair after ive made the majority of the avatar...

Yeah...i mean you could go ahead and pick a color scheme and work with it that way...
