Sure thing, coming right up! :)
Okay, Salone, there you go. Best I could do at 3:30, I'm afraid. Hopefully it's enough. :p
I just noticed that Cain wields a spear.
*smacks head* That was totally not the reason! :P
I was just trying to think of what weapon he would have used to kill Abel with, figured as primitive as he likely was, a spear would be a pretty safe bet. ...because a rock doesn't have the same dramatic presence. >_> |
...Reason? What? -confused- And I'm pretty sure you're right, although most...er...references, if you can call them that, say lance. Same difference.
Um... Kain? Dragoon? FF4? Uses a spear? Rather badass?
And lances weren't invented for several thousand years yet. :P Of course... his spear is rather clearly not flint-on-a-stick, and we're in a setting where Adam and his family were demigodlike shamanistic psychics, so I'm not sure how much such distinctions actually matter. :D |
Kain's best (?) spear in FFIV was called Abel's Lance, I think...which is mainly where I got that concept from.
I take you all down with a piece of mistletoe.
.....Wait, what?
Loki killed Baldr with a dart of mistletoe in classical Norse myth. :P
And I remember Abel's Lance. Only makes sense when Abel was a character in the game, where they'd invented lances. :D |
...Oh right, I vaguely, vaguely remember that mistletoe thing.
Oo-kay, something is posted. Bit rusty, but I think I can ease back in to it.
Still a pretty good piece of work you have there, Salone. Na'lsa can be so grotesque and amusing at the same time, not sure how that works. Not even sure it does work but it's something of an experience to read through.
Dara is still sitting by the fire with Andy and Dante. And Fee. Anyone up for that divine implosion to suck all the characters into one spot? |
I've been thinking of ways but nothing solid yet :/
Dante's starting to walk over.
That was epic, Salone. Triggered my giggles-at-the-atrocities responses. @_@
